We made the very smart decision to use Atomic Funk as our wedding band. They made the process smooth and easy from the jump. Communication was clear and thorough and turnarounds were fast. The band manager we worked with, Sariah, was so nice and easy to deal with. A great listener. All of the preferences we communicated to her came to life on our wedding day. My wife’s (the bride) dad is a musician and we wanted him to play a song or two during the reception. AF accommodated this not only without issue but with zest and excitement. The band - the musicians were uber talented and executed flawlessly. We heard from multiple guests after the wedding that it was the best wedding band they’d ever heard. We had an eight piece band which came with a soloist for the ceremony and a duo for the cocktail hour. The ceremony soloist played the instrumental from a few indie songs we love and absolutely crushed - in a good way. The band played EXACTLY what we wanted to hear per our preference sheet and truly exceeded our expectations. There was not a song played that we and the crowd didn’t love. The dance floor was packed all night. They brought so much energy and I can’t tell you how talented they were enough. 10 out of five stars

We booked Atomic Funk Project for our December wedding, and it was without a doubt the best decision we made. Words cannot even express the energy and excitement they brought to our reception, and we would make the decision to book them 100 times out of 100! The band and vocalists were all out of this world. So many of our guests have reached out to us to specifically tell us that it was the most fun they've had at a wedding reception, and every single one has credited AFP. He went above and beyond to support our vision of having live jazz musicians for our ceremony and cocktail reception, and he did an incredible job finding the perfect team for the rest of the celebration — connecting us with day-of coordinator, Reggie, and DJ Sam for the dancing portion of the night. The transitions between live music and DJ sets were seamless and elevated the entire experience.

Andy and I received countless compliments from our guests, many of whom said that DJ Sam, day-of coordinator Reggie, and live musicians were truly world-class. The energy, professionalism, and musical talent were evident throughout the entire night.

We also want to give a special call out to Sariah, who served as our relationship manager during the planning phase. She was responsive, organized, and a joy to work with, making the process smooth and stress-free.

This is THE MOST phenomenal band. We just had our wedding this past weekend and I was actually excited to write the review. First of all Sariah, the band manager, is the sweetest person to work with. Definitely the kind of person you want to work with during the stressful wedding planning process. So kind, so positive and the best MC!!! The band itself… just outstanding. We had endless compliments, and we are still getting them. The dance floor was never dry.  They made our night so amazing. The talent is off the charts. MASSIVE thank you to all!!!

Atomic Funk Project is THE only option for your event. For my wedding, they curated a package that aligned exactly with what my husband and I envisioned, but the execution exceeded all expectations. All of our guests (including us) were on the dance floor ALL night and each hit was better than the last! I think most of us lost our voices from singing every song! Booking Atomic Funk Project as our wedding was truly one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning, our top priority was having a lively band to get the party going. After researching many local New York bands, we were invited to an AFP Showcase where the band put their talents on full display. As soon as we heard the caliber of the musicians, the voices and passion of the singers, their electric energy, and the range of types of songs they were performing, we were sold.

Once we moved into planning stages, we had the pleasure of working with Sariah to answer all of our questions. Sariah was incredibly helpful, positive and supportive every step of the way. The team worked with us to choose all of our favorite songs, styles of music and favorite artists, so we went into our wedding day feeling confident that they would knock it out of the park.

From start to finish, the process was seamless! The band truly exceeded our expectations - energetic and extremely musically talented! So many of our guests complimented the band as one of their favorite parts of the wedding - and we agree!! Our onsite coordinator Julia really brought the energy in MC-ing. A total rockstar!!

We also ended up booking a strings trio for our ceremony through Atomic Funk Project – we loved the ease of having one vendor handle all of our music. They did an amazing job bringing our Bridgerton-inspired music to life for the ceremony portion.

Atomic Funk Project was the best decision we made! We first saw AFP at a friend's wedding and knew instantly we needed to have them at our own. From the initial call to last minute changes we made on the week of the wedding, AFP was so easy to work with and truly listened to all of our questions and concerns (thank you, Sariah!). The musicians are all so insanely talented and bring high energy and positivity all night! We watch the video of Scott belting out "New York, New York" on a weekly basis, he is legendary. Our guests did not leave the dance floor all night and were blown away, with some commenting that they felt like they were at a concert. AFP also nailed the MC'ng perfectly and the acoustics (not so loud it's hurting your ears / but still loud enough for a party). We are so grateful we were able to work with them for our wedding and cannot recommend AFP enough!

From our first hello, working with Atomic Funk Project was a planner’s delight. I enthusiastically give them a heartfelt and "immense" shout out. They partnered with us for a recent wedding in the Hudson Valley. Our couple attended a wedding and knew that this was the band they wanted for their wedding day. Knowing my discerning clients well, I knew that they would be top notch, but the band and the support staff took it to another level.
