I'm Alexa, the letterer behind Letter Me Lovely by Alexa Corrine. I'm a Raleigh, NC gal, Meredith College grad, wifey to my high school sweetheart, & mama to a baby boy and two goldendoodles. I love a good chai latte, country music, the beach, and the color pink.

I started Letter Me Lovely in 2015, after taking a hand-lettering class from All She Wrote Notes. I caught onto the skill quickly, as I have always had decent hand-writing. Growing up, friends would ask me to write their name pretty, or sketch out letters for posters so they could trace over them, so I guess you could say hand lettering was just a hidden talent waiting to be revealed. I spent a lot of time practicing...practicing...and practicing...and it's still not perfect. I like to follow the Emily Ley mantra of "grace, not perfection" as hand-writing in general will always be perfectly imperfect.

I have found a passion in hand lettering, especially when it comes to brides, couples, and weddings, but have recently transitioned from pen & paper (chalk & chalkboard, marker & acrylic) hand-lettering, to digital design. There is something extra special about the little, lovely pieces on a wedding day...they are always so personalized and meaningful. I have a heart for details, eye for style, and love for beautiful things. I would love the opportunity to create lovely stationery and paper details for your very special day! <3
