My husband and I planned our wedding in VA from out of state. Our first priority was a finding wedding planner we could trust and rely on. We were totally overwhelmed by all the things we didn’t know, the endless contracts, the seemingly impossible task of staying within budget, and all the questions we had no idea how to answer. Sydney was there every step of the way, going above and beyond to make it the most beautiful day of our lives.

I recommend hiring her as your very first step because she has so many connections and resources to share. She is a wealth of knowledge and has been a part of so many weddings, she has the expertise to know exactly what to do in every situation. I truly don’t know what we would have done without her.

We had regular Zoom check-ins and she kept us on track for important deadlines. She once spent her whole weekend helping me work through a crisis all while keeping me as calm as possible. She has the most calm and kind demeanor, but at the same time she is organized, and prepared to say the hard things on your behalf if necessary. It’s exactly what you need in a planner.

Her trustworthy and equally incredible partner, Laura, was there for the walkthrough and day of coordination. It was the dream team! Together they did everything from keeping everyone organized, to putting together flower displays.

It was the best day of our lives. We had our dream wedding, within budget, and it was all thanks to Sydney!! I truly don’t have the words to express how lucky we feel to have had her help us plan and execute our big day. I hope you have the opportunity to work with her too!

Suzanne is the BEST! We contracted her for a day-of coordinator and partial planning leading up to our day, and she was fantastic. She was responsive and knowledgeable about all of the vendors, hotels/rentals in the area. She is warm and welcoming and absolutely knows what she's doing when planning a wedding. We were truthfully pretty on top of things, but we've never gone through planning a wedding before, and Suzanne helped us fill in the gaps that we missed or didn't know about. Her daughter Sydney helped us day-of along with Suzanne, and they helped make our day beautiful and seamless! We would not have been as calm and collected as we were without them.

We postponed our 2020 wedding to 2021 so we worked with Legacy for a good while and the entire time we worked together, I always received a timely email response from Suzanne that directly addressed questions and day-of details. Our wedding experience would be what it was without Suzanne!!! Not only did she build out our timeline and kept us to that, but she also made it so we could enjoy our day and visit with family and DANCE, without worrying about things. We brought all our wedding decore and she helped box it up and organize things and gave us all our cards and SOME CAKE for when we left the venue. We hired Suzanne Fox to officiate our small elopement ceremony and she was the perfect fit. She was comfortable and eloquent in front of our small audience. All of our guests asked us afterward how we found out about her, because she did such a great job! She coordinated with us ahead of time and let us preview the ceremony, and was flexible with allowing us to make changes and add our own personal vows.

Suzanne was great, I'm honestly glad that our venue required a day of coordinator because otherwise we would've tried to save a couple bucks and not hired her. For another $100-ish bucks her husband officiated this was a major bonus since we had no clue what to do.

There is a reason Suzanne has been involved in over something like 1200 weddings. She has seen it all! She was instrumental in making sure our beautiful wedding day went off without a hitch. Suzanne and her husband were a key part of our day. They were flexible and rearranged their schedule when we requested them for a Monday holiday wedding. Suzanne was so kind, organized, and responsive. I had nothing to worry about on the day of our wedding, she handled everything while I was getting ready!
