Choosing the right photographer for our wedding was one of our highest priorities since the photos last well beyond the day, and we are SO happy we had Leah capture such an important day. From the start, she was flexible and professional, working with us to customize our package and provide her expert advice. On our wedding day, it ended up being unseasonably cold and rainy all day (and it was an outdoor wedding), but Leah and her second photographer Gloria, didn't miss a beat! Leah helped adjust our photo locations on the spot without compromising on the quality of our shots, something only a true professional would be able to do. My husband and I can also be stiff in front of the camera, but Leah put us at ease by giving us gentle guidance while also letting us just be in the moment. We also had a few young children in the family, and she was such a pro at capturing their genuine smiles. When we got our photos back, we were in awe of what she captured! She captured so many small, heartfelt moments that would be easy to miss, but we now have them forever. She also captured all the fun and energy from our reception and after party, making the candid shots look so flattering and natural. Our family and friends were also so impressed with our gallery, singing Leah's praises and saying these were some of the best wedding photos they'd seen. We're now having fun creating our album (there's too many good photos to choose from!) and sharing shots with friends/family that Leah captured (she managed to get photos of everyone!) We're so happy that we worked with Leah for our wedding photos, and without a doubt highly recommend booking her!

Leah is incredible. Full stop. I had her on my list well before I was even engaged after seeing her work from other weddings. After meeting with her, I knew she was the one. My husband and I had never taken professional photos together, and I wasn't sure how things were going to go -- but the engagement shoot was a great warm-up to getting us comfortable in front of the camera together. On the wedding day, Leah was a massive help in keeping me calm -- reassuring me that we were on schedule, checking in to see if we wanted to take a break from the camera or keep going, offering options for how we might be able to break up sessions to get the photos we wanted given it was a pretty hot and sunny day. The end result was absolutely amazing -- a few weeks after getting the album and I'm really still taking them all in!! Leah did an incredible job at capturing both posed and candid moments -- and helped ensure every detail was captured so we'd remember everything from the show-stopper settings to the little touches.

Wow wow wow - Leah is AMAZING! She took the most beautiful wedding photos we could ever ask for. She made me and my husband, and our families so comfortable in front of the camera - her eye and direction is truly amazing. Both our posed photos and also all of the great candid moments she caught are just beautiful. We had a few different locations with different vibes - the church we were married, the reception, and then the dive bar for an after celebration - and she really honed in on the unique energy we wanted our pictures to reflect at each place. We will treasure the moments she captured forever and could not have asked for better results. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is beyond kind and downright cool, she fit right in with us and our families, we are so thankful for her! Leah is seriously the best!! Not only is she an incredible photographer, but she's also just a wonderful person to have around on your wedding day. She had an assistant, Paige, who was just as lovely.

From the start, Leah made me and my husband feel so comfortable, including during our engagement photos when we were both nervous about being in front of the camera. On our wedding day, she was so relaxed and truly had our best interests at heart. She could tell when we needed a water break, kept things moving efficiently, and was accommodating when we wanted to skip sunset photos to maximize celebration time.

What really stood out was how genuinely excited she seemed for us. We never felt like just another wedding on her calendar. She brought such fun, lighthearted energy and was just great to be around. At the same time, she knew exactly when to step in and be decisive to keep things on track, which was so helpful for us.

My bridesmaids are still talking about how much they loved her (2 months later!). They all commented on how cool and easy she was to work with. And of course, the photos are amazing. We love everyyy single one, including the film photos, which turned out beautifully. She captured the emotional moments, silly moments, and entire fun vibe of our wedding, including the tiny details.

The best thing my husband has done was ask me to marry him. The second best thing he's done was hiring Leah as our engagement and wedding photographer.

My husband loathes having his photo taken - he feels awkward, struggles to smile naturally, hates to pose. I'm a camera fan, but I also have anxiety, and I knew on our wedding day especially, I didn't want to worry about ensuring we got the "perfect" shot. We needed a photographer who would make us forget the camera was even there while still capturing all the beauty and joy of the moment. Leah gave us that and more.

Leah, first of all, is such a lovely person. She is funny and kind and instantly puts you at ease. She takes you as you are and meets you where you need her to be.

Secondly, Leah has an innate ability to capture the essence of the people in front of her lens. When we showed our photos to friends and family, the continuous theme in their reactions was - "Wow, these are so YOU!" Leah captured everything about our love that is light and joyful and bright and portrayed them in the best way. Her photos are more than we knew how to ask for and exactly what we could have hoped for.

And it isn't just us she captured perfectly - her photos also captured every bit of the magic and love we felt on our wedding day and all of the love and joy we share with our family and friends. I'm sure it's evident in the photos I've included - they practically glow. We feel like we're being hugged with every picture.

Don't sleep on Leah - I promise you won't regret it! She is worth every cent and honestly I would pay her a million bajillion dollars if I could. Our photos are priceless and we'll treasure them forever.

Leah was wonderful! I chose her for our wedding photos after looking through her portfolio where I felt that she was able to truly capture the candid feeling of a moment. First - she did not disappoint and looking through our photos is a joy. Second - she was so fun! I wish we could be friends because she made us feel so comfortable and at ease and we shared some genuine laughs with her.

My husband and I were initially drawn to Leah because her gallery is cinematic, we truly felt like we were watching a film looking at her work. After meeting her for our engagement session, we were blown out of the water by her. Her kindness, humor, and ability to make us feel comfortable quickly was a pleasant surprise (my husband HATES photos and actually enjoyed himself). To her core, she is a good person. Very personable and we enjoyed hearing about her family and beautiful wife, it made our experience with her feel intimate, like she actually cared how our love story was portrayed. Our budget changed a couple of times and Leah happily worked with us to adjust services. On our big day (which was actually spread across 3 days), she was prompt, on time, and with a smile on her face. For us, it was above and beyond that she also protected our energy, gave us time to breath, diffused nerves/stress, and reminded us what the day was really about when needed. If there were specific photos we wanted, she made sure the shots were taken, even if it was minute or seemingly insignificant. She sees details that are important to you. We got several compliments regarding how lovely she was after interacting with guests. When our photos came back (at world record speed), I cried on the couch because all the emotions of those days and the joy came rushing back. I felt like I was there all over again. My husband, who really dislikes himself in photos, LOVED our gallery. Additionally, she captures all skin tones in the most beautiful way, we were extremely delighted to see this for our blended families. I am crying now writing this review. I could go on forever. I do not know how to thank her fully and words will fall short, but I would recommend her in a heart beat to anyone and everyone who is in need of a photographer. Thank you, Leah, from the bottom of our hearts!!

From the first interaction I had with Leah, I knew she was someone special. She's kind, witty, creative, thoughtful, and just a lovely human being. And that's before we even get to her photography skills! Which are... UNREAL.

As I told her upon viewing the gallery, she absolutely captured the spirit of the day and our spirit as a couple. The photos are just perfect. They're joyful, meaningful, loving, fun, and also capture the layers of emotion we experienced throughout the day -- from light and airy to deep and complex. I genuinely can't stop looking through them all.

On the actual day, Leah was suuuuuuuch a joy! She made everything feel easy (very helpful for folks who aren't often posing for photos) and so much fun. Where to even begin? I knew I wanted to hire Leah over 10 years ago when my best friend was looking for a wedding photographer (Leah was already booked because she's simply the greatest to ever do it & she's in high demand). I love the way Leah captures emotion & sees people. Actually getting to hire her was a dream - she sets clear expectations, explains things well, gives you plenty of time to prepare, & goes above & beyond to get you ready for your day. It was so meaningful for us to hire a queer woman to photograph our lesbian wedding. She blended right into our group of friends, seamlessly capturing big moments & creating small ones just for us that will now live in our memories forever. We felt so comfortable with her & so did all of our guests. She was able to naturally & candidly capture so many beautiful shots. I am in awe of her work! She has such an artistic eye (hey female gaze!), but she is also a consummate professional. Leah shot both our engagement and wedding pictures, and we love all of the photos! Working with her felt comfortable and natural, even with posed/formal photos Leah does a great job of avoiding awkwardness and injecting levity. We also love Leah’s eye for good photo spots, working with a given setting and lighting to make beautiful scenes happen. Leah is really able to lean into a venue’s aesthetic and bring out the uniqueness it can offer.
