Leah Muse. What a queen. Hiring this woman was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding, not only because she provided absolutely stellar photography but also because of the energy and thoughtfulness she brought to our day.
Leah noticed the moment my shoulders tensed or my smile dropped even slightly and reminded me to relax, take a deep breath and be present. As a bride prone to overthinking, this was monumental and kept me from getting caught up in the details.
Her communication is friendly, straightforward, and clear, she’s flexible, and by the end of our wedding she had also become a friend. Our engagement and wedding photos are SO beautiful and truly capture the silly, emotional vibes that we as a couple and our friends and family share.
When we got our sneak peeks on our honeymoon, I saw a photo of myself and said out loud “I didn’t know I could look like that!” If you want a photographer who can capture genuine emotions, work with professionalism, and also bring a fun and laid-back attitude, hire Leah immediately! -

Not tomorrow. Not next week. Do it right now. Leah is such a talented photographer, collaborative partner, and now friend. Our experience with her felt so natural and fun. Genuine moments and minimal time spent away from our guests/party were our top priorities, and Leah made sure that is exactly what we got. From start to finish, we trusted her completely and the shots were unbelievable. Our wedding was the most wonderful day of our lives and Leah played a major role. Leah was fantastic to work with, from the initial inquiry to our special day. She was a seasoned professional, efficient and clear in her requests and direction. Beyond Amazing Photographer
We are incredibly fortunate to have had Leah as our wedding photographer. She brought professionalism, talent, dedication, and thoughtfulness to both our engagement and wedding day photos. This was the third family wedding captured by her, and each time was a resounding success providing us family photos that will last forever.
From the start, she made us feel at ease in front of the camera. Her warm demeanor and passion for her craft helped us relax, letting our true personalities shine. She guided us and our guests with clear, concise directions, ensuring every moment was perfectly framed.
She excelled under challenging conditions. In scorching 103-degree heat during the ceremony and a thunderstorm with softball-sized hail during the reception, she remained composed and captured beautiful moments. She was an all-weather photographer, handling a variety of conditions within the venue and whatever nature threw at us.
Her fast turnaround was much appreciated. The editing was beautiful and vibrant. Through the photos, we will relieve each moment from the bridal getting ready, to the hail storm dance party.
She's not just a professional; she's an artist who turned our day into timeless memories. We deeply appreciate all the hard work from her and her 2nd photographer. We can not recommend her enough (clearly as our family continues to use her for each wedding)! -

Authentic, warm, and so much fun!!
We are so so glad we were able to have Leah capture our wedding day and our friends and family are absolutely reeling/crying/screaming over the photos—which range from catalog-level portraits to club-style dancing. There are so many joyful micro-moments and hilarious candid facial expressions that really feel like reliving the day in snapshots (but from an omniscient view). She’s an absolute pro with lighting, editing, natural posing, making people laugh, ~everything~ but I think candids is where she shined the most for us because they are a surprise delight. BOOK LEAH if you want radiant but authentic photos that make you feel like yourself (with enhancements of being glowing in the light she finds).
We instantly felt connected with Leah when we met for a portrait/engagement shoot (I am still very grateful for her entertaining a messy color throwing request), and her warm presence on our wedding day helped set the mood in a huge way. The morning of the wedding we were like “can’t wait for Leah to get here because she’s so cool.”
Leah rolled with us with easy banter/quips all day, gave us the time + space to be able to maximize enjoying the day with our guests; everyone who met her loved her, and our photos so perfectly capture the essence/vibes of our day: they are vibrant, joyful, and so real. I get to relive the evolution I went through that weekend of sincere gratitude upon seeing our whole community love on us, and that is a very special life moment to have captured through this lens :)
Leah is simply a delight of a human and completely additive to the laid back, inclusive, celebratory energy we wanted to create. THANK YOU for everything Leah -

Y'all, book Leah Muse right now. Even if you don't have a wedding or any occasion to take professional photos. Hire her to follow you around for a day and document it. It'll be the most beautiful day of your life.
In all seriousness, Leah was the first photographer on our list of possibilities that we met with in person. We didn't even meet with another photographer. Our engagement session was amazing, and Leah helped make us feel comfortable being photographed. It honestly didn't even feel like a stranger was taking our photos. She just has that "you've known me for years" energy. The engagement photos were fantastic, and her site made it easy to order and share prints.
We received our wedding photos and just about died with happiness. They came at that perfect time when you're still trying to hold on to every moment and chase down memories that may be blurring into the fog of an amazing day. My wife and I sat together and played a slideshow of the photos on our TV (at Leah's recommendation) and relived that entire day! Leah captured moments that we remembered clearly and moments that might have otherwise been lost. It was wonderful to further confirm how dang happy we make each other with all the smiles and laughs in our photos. Getting to see our friends and family laugh and cry throughout the ceremony was truly a gift only a photographer could give, and Leah nailed it.
Friends and family and vendors alike have all gushed over how beautiful the day was and how wonderful the photos captured the beauty and the happiness. The detailed photos were also spectacular! Leah took the time to understand what was important to us and she went and exceeded those expectations in every way. We cannot recommend her enough! -

Perfect in every way!
If you’re looking for the most professional photographer who will make sure every shot is perfect without you even having to think about it, Leah is the absolute best choice! Leah's images and quality of work speak for themselves. Having just received our wedding photos, I can say that if you book her, you’ll get the same quality of images you see on her site.
The real joy was getting to work with such a great person. Wedding planning was at times hectic, but from the very first call with Leah, we instantly connected and she made our lives easier. Communication prior to the wedding was just the right amount - a light touch until the business end of photographing an event needed to be addressed, allowing us to focus on all the other things that make planning a wedding complicated.
The day-of experience couldn't have been better - she was professional when she needed to be, opened up to us to help ease our worry for the day to go smoothly, relaxed and weightless posing us for portraits and our first look - the list goes on. Although we’d just met in person that day, it instantly felt like hanging out with a good friend who just happens to be really good at wedding photography. That’s exactly the kind of energy we needed! Her shooting style is very easygoing. When she posed us, we felt natural and ourselves and that comes out in the images.
Leah also gave my wife the best advice that she continues to share with friends and future brides. After our first look everyone was being very precious with her dress and making sure it didn’t get dirty which I could tell was making her anxious. Leah said, “You have one day with this dress - so wear it; don’t worry about it getting dirty because it will, but it’s your day to really wear it.” That loosened both of us up and made the day just feel so much more relaxed.
Leah was very communicative post-wedding, sending us sneak peeks and even delivering some quick images for us to use as Mother’s Day gifts. Now that we have the full suite of images, we couldn’t be more happy with the results. She was able to capture the essence of what we felt that day and it’s been so fun reliving it with every photo.
We’ll definitely be booking Leah for any other photo needs in the future and have been recommending her to basically everyone we know. If you like the output of her photos, you’re going to love getting to work with her! Just book her already! -

After a whirlwind of a wedding weekend, truly the best day of my life, to have beautiful photos that capture the joy, togetherness, magic, and fun of that day so it can live on for the rest of my life is something I will be eternally grateful to Leah for. Leah made me and my husband feel so seen, understood, celebrated. She is effortless and cool and brought that out in us as well. In the midst of heightened emotions and frenetic energy, Leah was calm and funny. She captured magical moments that I thought could only live in my head but here they are, in real life for me to look at a million times over the next 50+ years.
With Leah you get professional and personality, and she is so good with all the weird anxious members of your family making everyone at ease. She was on time and prepared and thoughtful at every turn. And she's so damn talented. Looking through our wedding photos took us right back to the joy of that day.
This was the best investment of our whole wedding. Leah and work are an absolutely dream. -

Absolutely blown away by Leah and her work! The photographer was one of our most important vendors for our wedding, and we knew from the initial consultation that Leah had the exact energy we were looking for (plus, her Instagram is incredible!). The day of the wedding, she and her second shooter were both so relaxed, chill, funny, and warm, making my husband and I feel at ease. She clearly knows what she is doing and was able to get everything done quickly, so that we could spend the day enjoying moments with our guests. And, the end results are truly STUNNING - exactly what I had hoped for and more. I absolutely love her style and she truly has such an incredible artistic eye - she is also just a joy to work with. After some research my fiancée and I found Leah and were blown away with her work.
I'm happy to say that even going in and seeing all of the positive reviews, we were still impressed at how fun and easy Leah made the entire process (she's also hilarious which definitely helped us loosen up). And while I wouldn't call either of us the most photogenic people, Leah made us look fantastic. We've been told by numerous people how much they love our photos, and we owe it all to Leah. Leah was so wonderful to work with. From our initial consultation she had the best energy and we knew she was the right choice for us. It can be very uncomfortable getting in front of a camera and having someone taking pictures of you. Leah made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Within minutes of our engagement photos we felt like naturals. We were able to just have fun, laughed a ton and ended up with some amazing photos. This helped tremendously when it came to our wedding photos. We knew what to expect and she did an excellent job getting all the photos we requested. Her calm demeanor and professional experience were exactly what we needed on such a busy/stressful day! She is amazing and we are already trying to plan our next photoshoot!! -

The Photographer of Our Dreams
As I am sure you've gathered from reading review after review, Leah is an incredible photographer, and i am here to tell you SHE REALLY IS!
We were initially drawn to her work...how could we not be? Her work is absolutely stunning, a true master of her art. What made working with her even better was how cool, confident, and fun she was. Take it from two people who tend to be a bit awkward getting their pictures taken, we felt at total ease with Leah. Honestly one of our favorite parts of our day was sneaking away with her to take our pictures after the ceremony. She hyped us up, and made us laugh, and now she's making us cry looking back on our pictures. Being able to capture the most beautiful photographs was one thing, but being able to make us feel so seen and understood as a couple was pure magic.
I cold rave about her all day! She so dang talented, and she's the greatest human. -

Working with Leah is like hanging out with a longtime friend - a freaking blast. It's hard to convey, in just a few paragraphs, how wonderful she is in her work and presence.
Viewing our wedding gallery was like being transported directly to our wedding day. I can hear the laughter from my friends, the infectious joy among loved ones. I can feel my partner's gaze on me and the hug of my sister. It all feels so real because of Leah's talent in memorializing these special moments. For so many photos, throughout the evening, we were unaware she was there with the camera. And those are my favorite photos, sweet little gems of memories.
Her professional artistic talent is unmatched (look at the meaningful moments she captured!) and her generosity, on a personal level, felt like a warm hug. She gave gentle guidance in setting up photos and let us be us - unfiltered and naturally us. We look like we're having fun in the photos because (spoiler!) we were having fun. For formal shots, she whizzed through group formations like a pro and ensured we stayed on task. She knew our priority was to spend time with loved ones and she reflected that in her expediency. Once the reception began, she let us know we could pull her aside for photos and communicated that she'd be moving in and out of rooms to capture moments.
Family dynamics can be tricky, especially at weddings. I shared my vulnerabilities with Leah and she handled them with genuine care. She checked in on me (again, like a longtime friend) and told us we could step back and take a breather whenever we needed.
I could go on and on about why you should hire Leah. Honestly, it's an honor to work with her and to know her. I hope you give her a chance :) I'll be working with her for anything and everything. -

Leah is fantastic! Highly recommended.
I'm so glad we chose Leah to photograph our wedding ceremony this Fall! She made us feel comfortable from the start and got all of the shots we wanted (and didn't realize we needed). She even managed to get some fabulous shots of my daughter smiling and looking at the camera.
We were worried about the sunset timing since our ceremony took place right after the time change, but Leah was super flexible and accommodating with pulling the timeline in to capture the light. Thank you, Leah! -

We were lucky enough to work with Leah for our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos (she books out quick! so we’re especially glad she was available for both). My husband and I had very little experience with professional photography and our discomfort quickly melted away in her expert hands. She is a master of light and composition but also one of the most down to earth, kind, and funny people you could hope to know. Our formal photos look natural and beautiful (not stiff or forced or boring which I’ve seen in wedding party photos) and Leah managed to capture so many candid moments of joy, tears, attitude, dance floor charisma, laughter and love on our wedding day. She is an amazing communicator and we never had to wonder or stress about the sequence of events on our big day. We highly

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Leah for capturing our special day so beautifully. Her photographs tell stories. They are so much more than a snapshot of the moment. They are more like videos but even better! I don’t know how she does her editing and lighting, but it turned out perfectly! I found Leah through a pretty last minute, desperate search on social media and looking at my photo gallery post-wedding it feels like I won the photography lottery.
Leah has an incredible talent at capturing both emotions and seemingly mundane moments that end up being the shots you cherish the most. I think part of her ability to stand out as unique in the wedding photography world is her own infectious personality and ability to put people at ease during both intimate and chaotic moments (that inevitably happen).
There is no doubt she has an eye for meaningful moments and despite me providing almost *zero direction or guidance* on what I wanted, she worked her magic and captured moments I would of never thought to ask for (e.g. me and my bridemaids in sweats rushing to set up flowers and table settings). Having an eye to capture these natural and unplanned moments is truly what makes Leah outstanding.
I truly can't recommend Leah enough and she is most definitely one of (if not THE) best decision I made throughout the wedding planning process.

Could not imagine pulling this off without Leah!
First, Leah's pictures, photography style, and overall skills are hard to describe and need little vouching for (the proof is in the pudding) I will attach some of our beautiful photos below. I can mainly speak to how awesome she was when the big day came. Leah is timely and a fantastic communicator. She is clear, understanding, and decisive. By the time I was getting ready my ability to make decisions had flown out the window. Her experience in photography is unbeatable- I thought the next day "Oh no, I forgot to ask her to take this shot, or get detail pictures, etc." Let me tell you a secret: LEAH ALREADY KNOWS and ITS ALREADY DONE. My wife and I felt so comfortable around her, she made us look natural and captured our first look so well that when showing people I cannot tell you how many people said "this is so intimate". Of course on our wedding day, there were a few mishaps, Leah ran with them with a breeze, made suggestions, and was able to take control of the flow when I needed her to and that lifted so much weight off of our shoulders. Our photography was one of the things from the beginning we were going to "splurge" on and I beg you to do the same. There is nothing worth more than being able to look back and remember your wedding day through Leah's beautiful lens. -
