Leah is incredible. Full stop. I had her on my list well before I was even engaged after seeing her work from other weddings. After meeting with her, I knew she was the one. My husband and I had never taken professional photos together, and I wasn't sure how things were going to go -- but the engagement shoot was a great warm-up to getting us comfortable in front of the camera together. On the wedding day, Leah was a massive help in keeping me calm -- reassuring me that we were on schedule, checking in to see if we wanted to take a break from the camera or keep going, offering options for how we might be able to break up sessions to get the photos we wanted given it was a pretty hot and sunny day. The end result was absolutely amazing -- a few weeks after getting the album and I'm really still taking them all in!! Leah did an incredible job at capturing both posed and candid moments -- and helped ensure every detail was captured so we'd remember everything from the show-stopper settings to the little touches.
Hire Leah!! You won't regret it!!! -

Wow wow wow - Leah is AMAZING! She took the most beautiful wedding photos we could ever ask for. She made me and my husband, and our families so comfortable in front of the camera - her eye and direction is truly amazing. Both our posed photos and also all of the great candid moments she caught are just beautiful. We had a few different locations with different vibes - the church we were married, the reception, and then the dive bar for an after celebration - and she really honed in on the unique energy we wanted our pictures to reflect at each place. We will treasure the moments she captured forever and could not have asked for better results. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is beyond kind and downright cool, she fit right in with us and our families, we are so thankful for her! She was incredibly easy to work with during the planning too: highly responsive and very clear process. We highly recommend Leah - thank you!!! -

Leah is seriously the best!! Not only is she an incredible photographer, but she's also just a wonderful person to have around on your wedding day. She had an assistant, Paige, who was just as lovely.
From the start, Leah made me and my husband feel so comfortable, including during our engagement photos when we were both nervous about being in front of the camera. On our wedding day, she was so relaxed and truly had our best interests at heart. She could tell when we needed a water break, kept things moving efficiently, and was accommodating when we wanted to skip sunset photos to maximize celebration time.
What really stood out was how genuinely excited she seemed for us. We never felt like just another wedding on her calendar. She brought such fun, lighthearted energy and was just great to be around. At the same time, she knew exactly when to step in and be decisive to keep things on track, which was so helpful for us.
My bridesmaids are still talking about how much they loved her (2 months later!). They all commented on how cool and easy she was to work with. And of course, the photos are amazing. We love everyyy single one, including the film photos, which turned out beautifully. She captured the emotional moments, silly moments, and entire fun vibe of our wedding, including the tiny details.
We're sooo grateful we chose Leah and would hire her again in a heartbeat for any future event. Thank you Leah! ❤️❤️ -

The best thing my husband has done was ask me to marry him. The second best thing he's done was hiring Leah as our engagement and wedding photographer.
My husband loathes having his photo taken - he feels awkward, struggles to smile naturally, hates to pose. I'm a camera fan, but I also have anxiety, and I knew on our wedding day especially, I didn't want to worry about ensuring we got the "perfect" shot. We needed a photographer who would make us forget the camera was even there while still capturing all the beauty and joy of the moment. Leah gave us that and more.
Leah, first of all, is such a lovely person. She is funny and kind and instantly puts you at ease. She takes you as you are and meets you where you need her to be.
Secondly, Leah has an innate ability to capture the essence of the people in front of her lens. When we showed our photos to friends and family, the continuous theme in their reactions was - "Wow, these are so YOU!" Leah captured everything about our love that is light and joyful and bright and portrayed them in the best way. Her photos are more than we knew how to ask for and exactly what we could have hoped for.
And it isn't just us she captured perfectly - her photos also captured every bit of the magic and love we felt on our wedding day and all of the love and joy we share with our family and friends. I'm sure it's evident in the photos I've included - they practically glow. We feel like we're being hugged with every picture.
Don't sleep on Leah - I promise you won't regret it! She is worth every cent and honestly I would pay her a million bajillion dollars if I could. Our photos are priceless and we'll treasure them forever. -

First - she did not disappoint and looking through our photos is a joy. Second - she was so fun! My husband and I were initially drawn to Leah because her gallery is cinematic, we truly felt like we were watching a film looking at her work. After meeting her for our engagement session, we were blown out of the water by her. Her kindness, humor, and ability to make us feel comfortable quickly was a pleasant surprise (my husband HATES photos and actually enjoyed himself). To her core, she is a good person. Very personable and we enjoyed hearing about her family and beautiful wife, it made our experience with her feel intimate, like she actually cared how our love story was portrayed. Our budget changed a couple of times and Leah happily worked with us to adjust services. On our big day (which was actually spread across 3 days), she was prompt, on time, and with a smile on her face. For us, it was above and beyond that she also protected our energy, gave us time to breath, diffused nerves/stress, and reminded us what the day was really about when needed. If there were specific photos we wanted, she made sure the shots were taken, even if it was minute or seemingly insignificant. She sees details that are important to you. We got several compliments regarding how lovely she was after interacting with guests. When our photos came back (at world record speed), I cried on the couch because all the emotions of those days and the joy came rushing back. I felt like I was there all over again. My husband, who really dislikes himself in photos, LOVED our gallery. Additionally, she captures all skin tones in the most beautiful way, we were extremely delighted to see this for our blended families. I am crying now writing this review. I could go on forever. I do not know how to thank her fully and words will fall short, but I would recommend her in a heart beat to anyone and everyone who is in need of a photographer. Thank you, Leah, from the bottom of our hearts!! -

From the first interaction I had with Leah, I knew she was someone special. She's kind, witty, creative, thoughtful, and just a lovely human being. And that's before we even get to her photography skills! Which are... UNREAL.
As I told her upon viewing the gallery, she absolutely captured the spirit of the day and our spirit as a couple. The photos are just perfect. They're joyful, meaningful, loving, fun, and also capture the layers of emotion we experienced throughout the day -- from light and airy to deep and complex. I genuinely can't stop looking through them all.
On the actual day, Leah was suuuuuuuch a joy! She made everything feel easy (very helpful for folks who aren't often posing for photos) and so much fun. She made us laugh, gave us guidance, and made sure we were able to enjoy the festivities. More than anything, we left feeling like we made a new friend -- which is beyond what we could have imagined.
We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives, and can't wait to work with Leah again for some future family photos!

Where to even begin? I knew I wanted to hire Leah over 10 years ago when my best friend was looking for a wedding photographer (Leah was already booked because she's simply the greatest to ever do it & she's in high demand). I love the way Leah captures emotion & sees people. Actually getting to hire her was a dream - she sets clear expectations, explains things well, gives you plenty of time to prepare, & goes above & beyond to get you ready for your day. It was so meaningful for us to hire a queer woman to photograph our lesbian wedding. She blended right into our group of friends, seamlessly capturing big moments & creating small ones just for us that will now live in our memories forever. We felt so comfortable with her & so did all of our guests. She was able to naturally & candidly capture so many beautiful shots. I am in awe of her work! She has such an artistic eye (hey female gaze!), but she is also a consummate professional. You can see plainly her decades of experience as she does the work of an entire team condensed into one person. She was there for all the right moments, one angle after another. She also edited so incredibly fast, I couldn't even believe it! Our implicit trust in her paid off because now we have these incredible photos for a lifetime of memories. The best is an understatement
Leah is truly the best photographer ever. We just received our wedding photos (she also took our engagement photos), and every time she manages to capture us in the most cinematic, movie-like way. As someone who struggles with body dysmorphia, having photos taken can be incredibly hard to navigate, but Leah captured us so beautifully. There is truly no other word to describe my experience other than healing.
She is witty, cheerful, and such an incredible human to be around. Do not give it a second thought. She is the best choice we made for our wedding, and we will continue booking her for as long as she will have us. -

We had two weddings, a backyard wedding and a big indian wedding and Leah was the absolute perfect person to work with. Both of the sets of wedding photos far exceeded our expectations– they were truly beautiful! And Leah was extremely flexible– she helped accommodate our budget and was super honest about where we should invest and where we shouldn't (eg. she told us that for our wedding size we wouldn't need a second shooter, and encouraged us to purchase fewer hours).
Leah is amazing at making your wedding day run so smoothly: she is so kind and goes out of her way to keep stress under control. She also incredibly experienced and gave us a perfect idea of where to spend time taking photos and where not to. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her. We are so thrilled with our photos and look forward to having these memories for our whole lifetime! -

Leah is a master of her craft, a consummate professional, and a really damn good time.
Every step of the process we felt seen, heard, and knew that she was genuinely excited for our wedding. She showed up looking fantastic and tasteful, with incredible energy and immediately put everyone at ease and made them excited for the photos. She navigated complicated family dynamics with the deftest of ease and made our family portraits both elegant and still very us. She captured the essence of the day down to the roots in a way I've never seen another wedding photographer work. Her portraiture is considered and elegant and her candids are simply stunning in their honesty and joy.
She was with us every step of the way, supporting us throughout the day; our hype-woman, our documentarian, our family wrangler, our time keeper, and yet at the same time her presence didn't loom too large. She knows when to make herself known and heard and when to fade into the background to let the event flow and the magic of her camera to work.
I struggle to like how I look in photos, and she made me feel not only comfortable, but confident. I love these photos and the way they make my wife and I feel. They bring us straight back to the day and all of it's magic, and that is thanks to Leah and her gorgeous photography.
I truly can't say enough about Leah that will do her justice, just talk to her yourself and look at her stunning work.
Finding a wedding photographer is tricky work I know, but trust me, you've found her. -

Leah was incredible from start to finish. She wrangled guests for formal photos with ease and grace. On top of that, if we hadn't done them before it started to pour (oh yeah) we wouldn't have gotten any of those beautiful shots! She was crucial to our day going smoothly and let us forget about missing any special details -- she got them all! After the ceremony, my husband and I had a moment of downtime together and decided we wouldn't ask her to walk in the rain to take photos by the Gibson Bar. Leah walked in an immediately asked us if we would be comfortable walking in the rain for photos. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Working with Leah on our wedding day was quite possibly the best decision we made (and a wedding is crap ton of decisions). Leah is obviously a phenomenal photographer- her work speaks for itself (the album we received was perfect- capturing exactly the energy we prioritized at the wedding), but the intangible/ unexpected was that she has the most calming presence in a sometimes stressful environment. We’re from Michigan and got married in Austin, TX - and we were so pumped to find Leah. From the first conversation, she just got us. We wanted a few formal shots, but mostly candid moments, and she completely nailed it.
I’m not traditionally photogenic at all, but Leah made me feel so comfortable that I actually look like I enjoyed being in front of the camera - and somehow, she was able to suggest poses, give posture and position advice, and make me look good - confident even!
The candid shots are everything we hoped for - real, emotional, and fun. Leah fit in so naturally that our guests probably thought she was just one of our friends with a ridiculously nice camera.
She also delivered SO MUCH work. Every image was beautifully captured, curated, edited, and delivered. Everything about the experience felt professional, easy, and personal.
We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Leah is a total pro. The way she captured our vibe made me feel like we had been friends forever. -

Leah's The Best
Leah was really great to work with from the very first contact. After putting in an inquiry on her website she quickly responded and was immediately enthusiastic about what the vision for our wedding was. She met with us two more times before the wedding to make sure that we were all on the same page.
On the day of the wedding (and at the welcome the night before) Leah was awesome. She got a lot of amazing candid photos and got through our shot list super quickly and easily. Not only were the photos she took beautiful, Leah was really creative and funny with the framing of some of her shots. She also served as a bit of a therapist and planner in addition to photographer and excelled at all of those things. On top of all that, there was a last minute venue switch and she handled it no problem.
Basically, Leah was the best and we loved working with her. -

Leah captured all of the moments from our wedding ceremony. She helped ease our nervousness, and the photos show that. Leah is an absolute professional. She was on-site right on time and immediately recognized that I was having a bit of a stressful time putting on my dress and getting everything in order before the ceremony. It was not crucial for me to have (a lot of) before-photos, and she knew that, so she took lovely shots of all the wedding paraphernalia all around and captured the feeling of the venue.
Whenever she took photos, she nudged us into giving genuine reactions and smiles. She was happy to be present in our goofiness as we tried to keep our arms, shoulders, and facial expressions in the correct poses (which as photographers know -- makes people look ironically look more awkward -- we're bad at these things). Despite my partner and I's awkward non-photogenic nature, Leah managed to capture us beautifully (and she caught some of the funny-looking moments, too).
It was a delight to have her at the wedding. Also, Leah -- I'm sorry about the heat. It was supposed to be a fall wedding. Though it certainly looks that way in the photos, just like we wanted. -

Lemme start by saying that I HATE posing for photos. I've been plus size all my life and I don't generally enjoy looking at posed/staged photos of myself because all I seem to focus on are the things I don't like about myself, rather than the memory those photos are meant to capture. Despite this, I knew I wanted to document our wedding because it was such a major event in our lives. When it came to a wedding photographer, I was looking for a single person who could move around our intimate festivities, and was skilled at capturing those special, unstaged human moments. I immediately found that in Leah’s portfolio.
Simply, Leah’s work is phenomenal. When we got our photos back I was smiling like an idiot before getting through the first 25 photos, and cannot stress enough SHE IS FOR THE PLUS SIZE BABES. I felt beautiful during our wedding, and Leah captured that perfectly. Flipping through everything she captured feels like reliving the beautiful weekend I remember in high relief. She did such a phenomenal job of capturing the giddy joy, confidence, and silliness I don’t want to forget. Whenever our next milestone comes around the corner, I’ll be calling Leah first to help us document it. -

Reliving their wedding day with fantastic photos !
My daughter got married end of October in downtown Austin. We had no clue about Austin wedding photographers and started our search back in January . Some were already booked and some were too pricey . Then we got Leah’s name from another photographer and it was the best referral ever !!! Our search ended in the most perfect choice for a wedding photographer . Leah is great at communicating, professional , super nice , flexible , and most of all …..excellent at taking photos ! My daughter is not a big picture taker , but I am !!! Leah knocked it put of the park with Carley & Alex’s wedding gallery ! 🥰. We are all so pleased and happy 😃! I was worried about the venue being downtown , and not your typical wedding venue , and that Leah had not worked there before . She assured me that it would not be a problem , and she would get the best locations , and that she was excited for something new ! Boy was she right ….she handled everything on Carleys wedding day , by herself , and captured the best photos possible ! She was a joy to work with and puts everyone at ease in front of the camera . She took your usual posed family portraits and some other posed pictures , but what she is best at is capturing the feelings between the bride and groom ! 🥰 She also got so many awesome candid pictures of family members, and of guests , that truly showed how much fun everyone was having ! She was constantly working and finding pictures that showed the love and fun among everyone ! We are in love with the wedding gallery and highly recommend using her for your wedding day . We cannot say enough wonderful things about Leah! My partner and I were a little nervous about being in front of the camera. Leah immediately made us feel at ease. She was so warm, laid-back, and fun to be around that it felt like we were hanging out with a good friend all day.
Leah seamlessly fit into the vibe of our wedding. She was right there with us, capturing all the quirky, heartfelt, and hilarious moments without ever feeling intrusive. Her energy matched ours perfectly—she’s the kind of person who puts everyone around her at ease while keeping things fun and relaxed.
And the photos—wow. When we got the gallery, it felt like we were reliving every single moment of our wedding day. Book Leah Now!
After looking through a friend’s wedding photos, I was blown away by how stunning every shot was. I knew then I had to get the name of her photographer and bookmark her info for the future. A few years and a lovely engagement later, Leah was the first person I reached out to as soon as we picked our date. Thankfully she was available and I counted my lucky stars!
From the start, Leah was prompt, funny, and attentive to what we envisioned for our day. She asked a variety of questions that clearly demonstrated she genuinely wanted to capture what mattered most to us. My partner and I are pretty laid back and didn’t have a lot of specific ideas, but Leah’s experience and guidance made everything feel easy. In the two hours we had with her, she captured an incredible array of photos in different settings, making sure each one felt unique and special.
The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous (no surprise there) and Leah made the entire experience fun and comfortable -- not easy to do on a 95 degree day! I’m beyond grateful for her talent and warmth, and I’ll be recommending Leah to anyone who needs a professional photographer. Thank you Leah, for capturing such beautiful memories! -

Leah wowed me with her portfolio while shopping around for a photographer for our nontraditional wedding. It looked like she captured genuine moments and vibes very well, which was exactly what I was looking for. And boy did she deliver! Our final gallery is nothing short of amazing - so many lovely pictures of people we hold dear.
More than the pictures, Leah is just an incredible person to work with and be around. I was SO nervous and jittery the day of our event, but Leah helped me relax and enjoy the experience. She was incredibly professional, kind, and fun, and best of all wrangled my admittedly disobedient guests for their formal photos in the most efficient manner possible. She also had lots of ideas for poses and locations for our portraits that turned out beautiful. She made us laugh and it was really easy to be comfortable around her.

Beyond Amazing Photographer
We are incredibly fortunate to have had Leah as our wedding photographer. She brought professionalism, talent, dedication, and thoughtfulness to both our engagement and wedding day photos. This was the third family wedding captured by her, and each time was a resounding success providing us family photos that will last forever.
From the start, she made us feel at ease in front of the camera. Her warm demeanor and passion for her craft helped us relax, letting our true personalities shine. She guided us and our guests with clear, concise directions, ensuring every moment was perfectly framed.
She excelled under challenging conditions. Authentic, warm, and so much fun!!
We are so so glad we were able to have Leah capture our wedding day and our friends and family are absolutely reeling/crying/screaming over the photos—which range from catalog-level portraits to club-style dancing. There are so many joyful micro-moments and hilarious candid facial expressions that really feel like reliving the day in snapshots (but from an omniscient view). She’s an absolute pro with lighting, editing, natural posing, making people laugh, ~everything~ but I think candids is where she shined the most for us because they are a surprise delight. BOOK LEAH if you want radiant but authentic photos that make you feel like yourself (with enhancements of being glowing in the light she finds).
We instantly felt connected with Leah when we met for a portrait/engagement shoot (I am still very grateful for her entertaining a messy color throwing request), and her warm presence on our wedding day helped set the mood in a huge way. In all seriousness, Leah was the first photographer on our list of possibilities that we met with in person. We didn't even meet with another photographer. Our engagement session was amazing, and Leah helped make us feel comfortable being photographed. It honestly didn't even feel like a stranger was taking our photos. She just has that "you've known me for years" energy. The engagement photos were fantastic, and her site made it easy to order and share prints.
We received our wedding photos and just about died with happiness. They came at that perfect time when you're still trying to hold on to every moment and chase down memories that may be blurring into the fog of an amazing day. My wife and I sat together and played a slideshow of the photos on our TV (at Leah's recommendation) and relived that entire day! Leah captured moments that we remembered clearly and moments that might have otherwise been lost. The real joy was getting to work with such a great person. Wedding planning was at times hectic, but from the very first call with Leah, we instantly connected and she made our lives easier. Communication prior to the wedding was just the right amount - a light touch until the business end of photographing an event needed to be addressed, allowing us to focus on all the other things that make planning a wedding complicated.
The day-of experience couldn't have been better - she was professional when she needed to be, opened up to us to help ease our worry for the day to go smoothly, relaxed and weightless posing us for portraits and our first look - the list goes on. Although we’d just met in person that day, it instantly felt like hanging out with a good friend who just happens to be really good at wedding photography. That’s exactly the kind of energy we needed! Her shooting style is very easygoing. When she posed us, we felt natural and ourselves and that comes out in the images.
Leah also gave my wife the best advice that she continues to share with friends and future brides. After our first look everyone was being very precious with her dress and making sure it didn’t get dirty which I could tell was making her anxious. Leah said, “You have one day with this dress - so wear it; don’t worry about it getting dirty because it will, but it’s your day to really wear it.” That loosened both of us up and made the day just feel so much more relaxed.
Leah was very communicative post-wedding, sending us sneak peeks and even delivering some quick images for us to use as Mother’s Day gifts. Now that we have the full suite of images, we couldn’t be more happy with the results. She was able to capture the essence of what we felt that day and it’s been so fun reliving it with every photo.

I found Leah through a pretty last minute, desperate search on social media and looking at my photo gallery post-wedding it feels like I won the photography lottery.
Leah has an incredible talent at capturing both emotions and seemingly mundane moments that end up being the shots you cherish the most. I think part of her ability to stand out as unique in the wedding photography world is her own infectious personality and ability to put people at ease during both intimate and chaotic moments (that inevitably happen).
There is no doubt she has an eye for meaningful moments and despite me providing almost *zero direction or guidance* on what I wanted, she worked her magic and captured moments I would of never thought to ask for (e.g. me and my bridemaids in sweats rushing to set up flowers and table settings). Working with Leah is like hanging out with a longtime friend - a freaking blast. It's hard to convey, in just a few paragraphs, how wonderful she is in her work and presence.
Viewing our wedding gallery was like being transported directly to our wedding day. I can hear the laughter from my friends, the infectious joy among loved ones. I can feel my partner's gaze on me and the hug of my sister. It all feels so real because of Leah's talent in memorializing these special moments. For so many photos, throughout the evening, we were unaware she was there with the camera. And those are my favorite photos, sweet little gems of memories.
Her professional artistic talent is unmatched (look at the meaningful moments she captured!) and her generosity, on a personal level, felt like a warm hug. She gave gentle guidance in setting up photos and let us be us - unfiltered and naturally us. We look like we're having fun in the photos because (spoiler!) we were having fun. For formal shots, she whizzed through group formations like a pro and ensured we stayed on task. She knew our priority was to spend time with loved ones and she reflected that in her expediency. Once the reception began, she let us know we could pull her aside for photos and communicated that she'd be moving in and out of rooms to capture moments.
Family dynamics can be tricky, especially at weddings. I shared my vulnerabilities with Leah and she handled them with genuine care. She checked in on me (again, like a longtime friend) and told us we could step back and take a breather whenever we needed.

Could not imagine pulling this off without Leah!
First, Leah's pictures, photography style, and overall skills are hard to describe and need little vouching for (the proof is in the pudding) I will attach some of our beautiful photos below. I can mainly speak to how awesome she was when the big day came. Leah is timely and a fantastic communicator. She is clear, understanding, and decisive. By the time I was getting ready my ability to make decisions had flown out the window. Her experience in photography is unbeatable- I thought the next day "Oh no, I forgot to ask her to take this shot, or get detail pictures, etc." Let me tell you a secret: LEAH ALREADY KNOWS and ITS ALREADY DONE. My wife and I felt so comfortable around her, she made us look natural and captured our first look so well that when showing people I cannot tell you how many people said "this is so intimate". Of course on our wedding day, there were a few mishaps, Leah ran with them with a breeze, made suggestions, and was able to take control of the flow when I needed her to and that lifted so much weight off of our shoulders. Our photography was one of the things from the beginning we were going to "splurge" on and I beg you to do the same. There is nothing worth more than being able to look back and remember your wedding day through Leah's beautiful lens. -

I learned about Leah after asking for photographer recommendations in a Facebook group and immediately fell in love with her style. I'd been admiring her work for almost a year before we got to share our reception with her, and dreamed about what being captured in her lens might look like. She was phenomenal to work with--she kept me calm, she wrangled unruly guests--and has delivered photos that could be a map of my soul. To do the kind of work you love that has such a lasting impact on others...isn't that the dream? Leah is living it.
As I've been sharing photos with family and friends, I continue to get comments like "These photos are so good!" "What wonderful memories!" Truly, I cannot get over how phenomenal Leah is--the human being and the photographer! It would still have been a lovely night, but to have albums full of absolute GEMS that immediately transport you to those special moments...I feel so fortunate. She captured one of my 82-year-old grandmother that brings me to tears every time I look at it.
One last thing: Leah photographed our 65-person wedding reception at our home three weeks after my husband and I eloped in Glacier National Park. We hired a local Montana photographer and got back some epic photos from our intimate adventure--mountainscapes, mossy forests, you get it. Leah's photos at our suburban home are JUST AS STUNNING, if not more. If I could go back and hire Leah for our elopement, I would do it in a heartbeat. This is an easy review to write! Leah came highly recommended by many friends, and from the very start of planning and first conversations, we knew Leah was the perfect fit. We were so happy to have her be part of our day and share it with us and our loved ones.
Leah and Paige were a perfect embodiment of ease, care, organization, and true joy on a day filled with lots of moving parts. The second Leah showed up for our photos while getting ready, I felt relaxed and confident in her skills in guiding us through our photos and special moments. This feeling was shared by all of our family and guests. Leah’s authentic and kind nature is reflected in the way she captures moments through the camera. Nothing throughout the day felt forced or ungenuine because of the skill Leah and Paige had in finding the beautiful moments already built into our day. We are so lucky to have had our wedding day captured in this way and have found as we look through our gallery the real, visceral feelings of the day we had dreamt of and not through a lens of excess production. It feels like Leah captured OUR wedding, not just A wedding. This speaks to the kind of person Leah is - what more could anyone want? Not just in doing business but in entrusting someone to document such an important day. And to top it all off - the quality of photos, presentation, and organization of the gallery is stunning. Perfectly captured the day, us, and all the love!
Working with Leah for our wedding photos has been amazing from start to finish. She is kind, responsive, and professional, and was an absolute rock star on the wedding day! We were having some minor delays that morning and she was such a calming presence. I'm somewhat of a people pleaser and wanted to make sure we were sticking to the schedule and started apologizing for the slow-downs and Leah immediately jumped in and helped me take a deep breath and remember that the day wasn't going to go on without me! She perfectly balanced helping run the schedule with keeping us all in good spirits. She has a great sense of humor and helped everyone to feel confident and natural with our photos (thank you, Leah, for never getting tired of reminding me to relax my shoulders!) As a result, both the posed and candid photos feel like perfect reflections of who we all are! The photos themselves strike such an amazing balance between being timeless and uniquely us. I absolutely love how she captured not only the love and joy between my husband and I that day, but also between us and all of our family and friends. Our wedding was a truly special and rare time when everybody we loved was in the same place to celebrate, and Leah expertly captured photos of our friends and family that I know we'll treasure for the rest of our lives. She and her partners truly had an eye for and caught every detail of the day, so looking back on our (huge!) album is like reliving the day from start to finish and even getting to see some details we didn't notice on the actual day! We couldn't believe the amount of attention and care that went into the editing of every photo as well. Each shot is truly stunning and you can tell that she gave them the time and care due. I can't wait to gift friends and family with some of the gorgeous professional photos of them, too. As we approach our 6-month wedding anniversary, we wanted to encourage anyone thinking of hiring Leah as their photographer to do it! We were so grateful to have a calm and fun person with us during our wedding day. Leah made us both feel comfortable, which helped us to look good in all of our photos. She was communicative prior to our wedding, letting us know what she needed beforehand and communicative after the wedding about the status of the photos.
We have gotten so many compliments on our photos and she really captured not only the event but the essence of the people in attendance as well. We have some great candids of our friends and family members.

Where I begin besides "If you are thinking about hiring Leah, DO IT!!"
When my now wife and I got engaged, I only had two nonnegotiables- one of them was hiring Leah. Leah was patient as we brainstormed wedding options during a pandemic and we made sure the date/location worked for her first thing before finalizing the ceremony.
Being queer in East Texas, and in the wedding industry as a whole, it's hard to feel truly seen and accepted. We met Leah at another queer wedding and instantly felt connected to her personality and work.
We were really intentional about who let into our sacred space on our intimate wedding day, and with how many plot twists we had to do, Leah showed she was 1,00000% the right pick.
From last-minute changing the ceremony location to our living room because of the rain, stopping on the way at an indoor trampoline park, opening champagne in the car, or the multiple schedule changes, Leah went with it all. Not only was she accommodating, but she helped reframe our perspective on the day and brought a calming, yet fun, energy.
When it came to photos, most of the time we didn't know she was there. We aren't posed photo people, but the prompts she gave helped bring out our natural personalities that she captured so beautifully. When looking at the photos, I don't see perfectly staged, flawless photos. I see the special memories and feeling behind each one.
Quality photographers can be more expensive, but it was 100% worth the investment. Besides marrying my wife, hiring Leah was the best decision of our wedding. -

Best Vendor We Hired
We loved Leah! She made us not awkward during our first engagement session then kept us calm during the whole wedding. Such an eye for detail, instinctively knowing what I won't like in a photo or pose and correcting it with grace. She also has an eye for catching a fun artsy moment and I'm so glad we received both the standard "grip and grins" in addition to the artistic talent she offers. Highly recommend! The Photographer of Our Dreams
As I am sure you've gathered from reading review after review, Leah is an incredible photographer, and i am here to tell you SHE REALLY IS!
We were initially drawn to her work...how could we not be? Her work is absolutely stunning, a true master of her art. What made working with her even better was how cool, confident, and fun she was. Take it from two people who tend to be a bit awkward getting their pictures taken, we felt at total ease with Leah. Honestly one of our favorite parts of our day was sneaking away with her to take our pictures after the ceremony. She hyped us up, and made us laugh, and now she's making us cry looking back on our pictures. Being able to capture the most beautiful photographs was one thing, but being able to make us feel so seen and understood as a couple was pure magic.
I cold rave about her all day! She so dang talented, and she's the greatest human. -

Leah was amazing to work with!! Her energy was very calming and soothing on a day that had the potential to be high-stress and anxiety inducing. She made wonderful suggestions for poses and settings and made sure the day was about us and that all of our must-have-shots/needs were met. She even made sure we stopped to eat a snack between the ceremony and reception so we didn’t lose steam! We felt totally taken care of, comfortable, and at ease with her, like we were being photographed by an old friend we’d known for years.

Dream Photographer
Leah is seriously a dream wedding photographer! She had great suggestions and answers to all our questions and concerns. On our wedding day, Leah's composed, calm and confident demeanor put me at ease when I was a rushing nervously to complete my makeup look in time for photos. We ended up having to adjust the time of our photos and she pivoted so seamlessly, gave great suggestions and she got beautiful first look photos of us! A great experience from the beginning.
My fiancée vetted a number of photographers for our wedding, but we were impressed by Ms. Muse’s confidence, friendliness, and ability to read her customers to get the best possible pictures. She has the right energy, that when combined with her photography skill, can make subjects feel at ease. This was important to us as an LGBTQ+ couple in need of engagement and wedding photography. She is able to capture warm, personal photographs that do not feel hard. Our engagement session was fun, and Leah was able to mesh with the feel of our chaotic, colorful and personal wedding, facilitating perfect shots and slinking into the background to catch spontaneity. She was such a pleasure, my wife enjoyed her gentle opinions, while I appreciated her reigning in my desire to socialize and getting off task with photos. I cannot do justice to the incredible skill that Leah possesses and strength of character that shines through her every action, but I will do my best. Do you want to feel like a work of art? Then hire Leah! She has such a great eye for photos and is such a joy to be around that the process was so easy and the results were amazing. Our photos turned out absolutely gorgeous! And she's just an incredibly chill, truly genuine person; it was like having a friend there that also happens to be a genius photographer. Leah also gave me a piece of advice that I'll always be grateful for. When we first arrived at the venue, I was a ball of nerves and stress, and trying to lift my dress so that it wouldn't hit the floor. When we started taking photos, Leah told me "just live in your dress" and it became my mantra for the rest of the night--live in my dress, let it go, live in the moment. It was the best advice and I will always remember it. I had a huge smile on my face for the rest of the night and the photos she took captured the real feeling and emotions in the moment. I had known of Leah of her portrait sessions. She has a unique style and is really gifted in capturing beautiful human moments. That's why I wanted her for my photographer. Simply the best!
Leah is the best! We chose her as our wedding photographer because we loved her candid captures. She has a way of capturing that perfect moment so beautifully and effortlessly. She put us at ease during our engagement shoot as we strolled around our neighborhood and laughed. She made us look like enhanced versions of ourselves.
Like so many people, we had to cancel our Spring 2020 wedding and Leah was very understanding and flexible in moving the date. She also genuinely cared!
Our wedding photos could not be more beautiful and multiple people have shared that they envy that their photos didn't turn out as good. They are natural yet make us feel glamorous. I could not be happier with how they turned out.

Leah was the absolute perfect choice to capture our elopement in March 2021. Our elopement was bittersweet because our families couldn't come to our wedding due to COVID. But, we had the best time with Leah. I coordinated everything about our elopement day with her over email, so I'd never met her when I showed up and met her in my wedding dress. Right off the bat, she shared my and my husband's humor. She's irreverent and casual, which is exactly us. She was also so professional, never blinking an eye even when our wedding was held basically in a small church courtyard right off the parking lot 😂I loved our day. My husband and I are so, so glad to be married. And, Leah was the perfect company through the whole day. She made us look so glam no matter the environment. And, she was so present with us. For reference, I was going for a maximalist, organic look and Leah really got that. -
