Chelsea's wedding planning journey was anything but typical. Originally, she had envisioned a traditional wedding in Pennsylvania, but at the last minute, she and her fiancé made the bold decision to switch gears and have a destination wedding in Mexico. Larissa had initially been recommended by a venue we were considering, and even though we chose a different location, her support was unwavering. Everyone hit it off right away with Larissa during our initial meeting, so much so that my wife and I stayed in touch with her for advice on venues and vendors before we even booked anything. Once the location was changed, we knew exactly who to call for help. Larissa and her team took over everything—from travel arrangements to planning, design, vendor coordination, and all communication with the venue and staff. As a family spread across the country (we’re in Virginia, Chelsea and her fiancé are in Los Angeles), we were relieved that Larissa’s organization and attention to detail allowed us to enjoy the planning process without stress. The wedding itself was truly personalized—every aspect reflected Chelsea and her fiancé ’s personalities and love story. It was a perfect blend of intimacy, elegance, and fun, and our family and friends are still raving about it. We are beyond grateful to Larissa for making Chelsea’s dream wedding a reality. The experience was flawless, and they went above and beyond to make every moment special. So much so, we’ve already hired Larissa to help plan our son’s wedding after his recent proposal!

La Rue Events created a perfect wedding for our daughter. Larissa and Rae listened to what we had in mind and made it possible. The team worked tirelessly to provide the unique casual vibe that we were hoping for. Their florals were magnificent. Larissa made sure that our wishes were honored. Most importantly, the entire team was warm and attentive. I enjoyed every moment of my daughter’s wedding because she took care of all details. We are so grateful for their hard work and creativity.

This team literally had me speechless with the way they handled my wedding. They went above and beyond and made our day so special. I gave them a theme that didn’t make a ton of sense but the took it and ran and met it ten fold. The details they did were so utterly amazing. I recommend them 1 million percent. We hired her for month of coordination and she truly went above and beyond for us. As a COVID wedding couple, she helped us talk through our options with postponing and gave us incredible emotional support. When we had our one year anniversary celebration, Larissa did everything in her power to ensure the day went off without a hitch. She even met us at our hotel to pick up wedding favors the day before so that she could coordinate drop off at our venue and set things up at our rehearsal dinner while we were at the church. The day of our wedding, she later informed us that our venue had some dirty linens on tables and things not set up according to the floor plan. We never would have guessed anything was amiss by the time we arrived at the venue because Larissa had already taken care of everything. Our other vendors enjoyed working with her, our families felt like she was part of the crew by the end of the weekend, and we will forever be grateful that we could relax and focus on enjoying the day knowing she would be there to take care of any issues that arose. Would 100% recommend her to other couples that need help managing logistics on their day.

Larissa was great start to finish. She was down to earth from our first phone conversation and made sure to stay on top of all of our vendors to keep things running smoothly. She helped decorate our venue and did an absolutely fantastic job. She wasn’t afraid to get tough if she wasn’t getting the information she needed from vendors. Despite a few inevitable mishaps right before the wedding, Larissa made sure that I never worried about anything that might have been going wrong, she got it fixed at the end of the day, our wedding was absolutely perfect. Though I already had most of my vendors booked before hiring her, Larissa has a great network of vendors as well as a great stock of decorative items to rent.

Larissa assisted me with nearly 2 years of planning. Through my overwhelming panic attacks and bridezilla moments, she always persisted to calm my nerves and assure everything was alright. I don’t know how I would have even planned my wedding from day 1 without her guidance and advice. She also helped me in areas of my budget, which I am extremely grateful for.

We planned a destination wedding in Mexico, which wasn’t easy. She helped set up the decorations in the ballroom before the ceremony, she put ribbons on all the bouquets while the girls were getting ready, she created my flower girl “hoop”, she set up my placecards and guest book, and so many other decorations it’s too much to say. She even had tissues on hand to pat my sweaty face in between photo shoots.

But what I am most grateful for is her help on the actual wedding day. I woke up in the morning not feeling well, most likely from all the nerves. I informed Larissa and immediately she was there and even left the resort to get me food to settle my stomach and medicine. She went above and beyond to do whatever she could to make my day easier and go as planned.

She even became a part of the celebration with our family and friends, that is after my mother dragged her to the tequila line in the reception! ;)

I can’t thank her enough for her help through all of this. I definitely recommend her services. She made the wedding planning enjoyable and easy. I can’t imagine not having her guidance and support during that time. Thank you SO much Larissa!

She's super organized, great with guests, and is two steps ahead of anticipating what you need and addressing any obstacles. She takes the stress of the day away, so you can just enjoy.

The wedding reception itself was just perfect (she sourced the venue for us). It was our dream come true. The reception was decorated perfectly and just how we wanted. The setting was beautiful, with amazing places in and around the venue for pictures. We received so many compliments about the food and drinks, as well as the setting, and organization by Larissa. We are thankful to her for all she did for us."

I don't know how I would've gotten through my big day without Larissa! From start to finish she was key in making sure I was where I needed to be, that I had eaten, that I stayed hydrated and bustled. One of my guests commented that they didn't know I had a DOC on site, that's how much of a wedding ninja she is!

The venue was absolutely stunning once Larissa was done with it! It was lovely to not need to worry about the details and be able instead to focus on my guests and my husband. She was also kind enough to provide some of the pieces of decor (in my case it was fairy lights and items for the bathroom baskets, along with a specific fabric for the cake table that she went out and bought specifically for my wedding!). I didn't have a wedding party, it was just my mom as my right hand through the planning process, but Larissa definitely made it feel like I had a competent bridesmaid on my side.

In our first meeting, she said "My job is to fix whatever goes wrong before you ever know it happened", and she delivered completely -- if something went awry at my wedding, I still have no idea that it did! In our consultations, she brought up questions I hadn't thought about, like where I'd want the cake table, who would be in our processional, etc. and she had suggestions for me when I responded with a deer-in-the-headlights look. Larissa is the fairy godmother every bride needs, regardless of whether or not you have a wedding party!
