The unspoiled pastoral property features grape vineyards, a tranquil stream, and majestic views. The Ranch harmoniously marries the rustic rural environment with luxury facilities fit for a variety of wedding events. The unsurpassed privacy and tranquil Hill Country setting, meticulously perfected within this ecological sanctuary, provides an amazing setting for your wedding celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
The luxury barn-style reception hall features vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and elegant chandeliers. This spacious barn can provide comfortable seating for up to 300 guests and includes a small catering kitchen and bar. This beautiful venue oozes rustic charm while providing a light and airy feel via strategically placed windows. The open-air chapel on-site features breathtaking stained glass windows situated directly behind the altar, offering a unique backdrop for your ceremony. Both sides of the chapel are open to the natural surroundings, providing unfettered views of the luscious countryside. Couples can also enjoy ringing the traditional wedding bell located nearby to seal their ceremony. Elegant get-ready rooms are made available to couples for the full day of the event and feature closets for use by the wedding party, multiple illuminated vanities, a small refrigerator, and a private bathroom. Also included is a second wedding suite and loft with a private room for your additional needs. La Bonne Vie Ranch offers a plethora of accommodations for your guests to enjoy, including The Lodge which features 15 bedrooms, 11 with ensuites. The Homestead includes a large kitchen and ample space for entertaining. For a more private stay, your guests can rent one of the eight themed cabins or three family style cottages also located on site. Parking is also provided on location and this venue is wheelchair accessible.

BOOK THIS VENUE NOW! You will not regret it!!!! La Bonne Vie was everything we dreamed of and so much more!! My husband and I got married last month and had our close friends and family stay at La Bonne Vie in the lodge and cabins that weekend and every guest told us they felt like they were on vacation! Carol and Justine were the best hosts- checked on us when we arrived the Thursday before and made sure all the vendors knew where to set up for the rehearsal dinner and wedding! Any request we had, they made it happen! Every bride talks about things going wrong with venues the day of their wedding but let me tell you, it was perfect!! They even drove us to different parts of the property when we took wedding party pictures and family portraits in their golf cart! There are so many amazing spaces and things to do at the venue, we did the rehearsal dinner, spent the morning of the wedding there, as well as a brunch Sunday morning and no spot was repeated! Our pups even stayed with us on site in their air conditioned kennels! And don’t even get me started on how beautiful the homestead is! My bridesmaids and I got ready there the morning of the wedding and when we left for our ceremony and reception, It was turned into an amazing honeymoon sweet!! And the cool cars they have on the property...they let us take our engagement pics and my bridal portraits with them! And one of them was our getaway car at the end of the night! Truly spectacular!! Our wedding weekend was magical (to say the least)! One we will never forget thanks to La Bonne a Vie! I am hoping that every year from now on we will rent a cabin at La Bonne a Vie to celebrate our wedding anniversaries!

I can’t say enough good things about La Bonne Vie!!!!!
You absolutely get what you pay for at La Bonne Vie. The team was incredibly supportive, responsive, and flexible to make my dream come true! I had tons of questions leading up to the event—and so did my mom & vendors—and LBV staff answered every one quickly.
The week of the event, LBV staff was incredible.
Available for us when needed and hands-on.
Most importantly, the event was beautiful. The chapel was gorgeous, pavilion for cocktail hour was a great setting, and the barn fit my 165 guests any 5 piece band!!!

Alondra & Christian’s wedding
We cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for Justine Thompson and her team at La Bonne Vie Ranch for making our wedding day unforgettable. Unlike last weddings that are planned a year in advance, we happened to plan ours in seven months. The rustic barn style was something my husband and I really wanted for a wedding venue and we found it on our first visit. From the start, Mrs. Thompson made the process as easy as possible. She communicated thoroughly making sure we did not forget any details leading up to the wedding day. We did not have a wedding planner so she was very patient and helpful in assisting my husband and I. The venue was as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. The chapel was right next the reception hall which was perfect for us and our guest to walk up the hill and enjoy the cocktail hour and reception. The venue was big enough to fit if not all most of my friends and family. As well as the amount of kitchens available for my family to cook since we cooked our own food and it was amazing! Mrs. Thompson also made sure to be present on the day of the wedding to assist in anything we needed like driving me down to the chapel to walk down the aisle so I did not have to walk in my heels. Everything was perfect and we loved every minute of it. Thank you again to everyone at La Bonne Vie Ranch for the amazing experience.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend in Texas Wine Country
I cannot say enough about the sheer beauty and perfection of this wedding venue in the the Texas Hill Country. From the open air wedding chapel with stained glass windows to the soaring ceilings with wood beams and chandeliers in the reception hall, the owners have thought of everything for an amazing event. We rented the entire property (including lodging) for the whole weekend, and our wedding party and family enjoyed everything from the Welcome/Rehearsal Dinner to the food truck that served breakfast tacos and coffee to departing guests on Sunday morning after the wedding. The owners are experienced and outstanding to work with, and our Wine Wedding Weekend could not have been more beautiful or memorable. It is the perfect spot for a destination wedding!

Dream come true
I’ve been dreaming of getting married at La Bonn Vie Ranch for about 3 years! All I can say is this venue made my dream come to life! My guests had a blast and felt like there were on vacay, they will be talking about La Bonn Vie for years to come!
If you want to spend a few days with your guests and not just one day this is the venue for you. If you are looking for easy to work with type of people this is the venue for you, if you are looking for a dream wedding this is the venue for you!

Wedding Weekend at its BEST!
Amazing! Beautiful! Perfect, and so much fun! La Bonne Vie has it all! We had the ultimate wedding weekend experience! From the time we pulled in on Friday until we pulled out on Sunday! One of our favorite parts of La Bonne Vie is that some of our family and friends were able to stay on the property. Some stayed at The Lodge, and some stayed in the cabins! Our friends and family were able to enjoy a weekend away in Fredericksburg and come together to celebrate our daughter's wedding!
The Homestead was a fantastic place to host the rehearsal dinner. Plenty of room to socialize, have a catered dinner, and enjoy the evening with the wedding party! After that, the Homestead was used to house the bride and her girls. Complete with plenty of space for everyone to get ready for the big day! Once the wedding started, the staff flipped the house into the honeymoon suite for the bride and groom to stay for the next two days!
The open-air chapel with stained glass and church pews was a picture-perfect setting for the wedding ceremony! The reception barn had everything you could ask for and more. The setting is beautiful and peaceful! La Bonne Vie spared no expense when it came to the details that make it so unique!
Everyone at La Bonne Vie is friendly, helpful, and just awesome! Justine worked with us from start to finish! Always willing to answer our questions, attend to whatever was needed,and always with a smile! She was the absolute best! I would highly recommend La Bonne Vie to anyone! To be able to stay on property, and experience a full wedding weekend, was an absolute dream!

A gorgeous wedding venue!!
La Bonne Vie Ranch was the perfect place for our daughters wedding! From the first contact with Justine when she described the Homestead, their smaller venue, as a perfect place for a smaller, more intimate wedding to the last detail of the evening, the precious staff at La Bonne Vie were so helpful and kind. Erika was our venue coordinator for the evening and helped with every aspect of the event. They saw our vision and helped us and our wedding coordinator bring it to life! I would recommend La Bonne Vie Ranch to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous setting for their wedding and a professional, helpful staff to assist them in making their wedding dreams come true. Best wedding venue ever!
La Bonne Vie Ranch was the absolute best experience for us, i am so glad we had our wedding here! It is so gorgeous here, with everything you need for your big day, and to put the cherry on top they are the greatest staff in the wedding industry, they were so kind, patient, and helpful...even when we had some unfortunate hiccups, the owners were accommodating to us and understanding and easy to work with and we are ever so grateful for the great people that work at La Bonne Vie Ranch! If you want the fairytale wedding you’ve always dreamed of, this gorgeous venue is exactly it! It has everything you could hope for... gorgeous land, chapel, bridal suites, lodges, cabins, it has it all! My wedding was everything I ever wanted thanks to this special one of a kind venue. What an amazing wedding this past weekend at La Bonne Vie Ranch! This venue truly has it all and was a wonderful weekend getaway for my friends and I to see our best friends get married! The gorgeous property made us feel enclosed and we never wanted to leave this magical, love inspiring Texas Hill Country venue!
