We booked them for our wedding before Covid and they worked with us through all our postponing plans. They helped us set up the sound and Zoom audio for our ceremony and almost a year later, when we finally got to the party, they were absolutely amazing! The band is incredibly talented and kept the party going all night. Weeks later and our guests keep telling us how impressed they were with Kinky Spigot and The Welders.

We should start by saying at the end of the four hour set Kinky Spigot played the entire dance floor began chanting "ONE MORE SONG, ONE MORE SONG!"
We found Kinky Spigot at a wedding band showcase in Brooklyn and immediately knew they were something special and they delivered across the board. During the planning process, Lillian and Nadav were super organized, attentive, and very available for every little detailed question we had for them. They handled our sound during the ceremony, provided an amazing string quarter during cocktail hour, and when it came to the reception, they knocked it out of the park!
Their music selection is vast and versatile and while they allow you to choose 5 "must play" songs and read the room for the rest of it, every song they played over four hours had the dance floor filled for the entire night. Even when they took breaks, the DJ played perfect songs for the vibe of the room. The evidence is in the fact that so many people came up to us during the wedding and exclaimed "WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS AMAZING BAND!?"
Any couple that is looking to dance the night away should hire Kinky Spigot for their wedding ASAP!

Kinky Spigot is the best wedding band EVER! So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever attended because of the band. The dance floor was full all night. We had been at several events where the band played and we were just waiting for an occasion to hire them ourselves. Kinky Spigot was a huge part of the evening's success-- they created such a joyful and lively energy and we were so happy they were our wedding band! Kinky Spigot was really our first and only choice.

We have never experienced such pure bliss and elation before. Sure, the alcohol and marrying the girl of my dreams had something to do with it -- but Kinky Spigot really made our wedding the event of the century for us and all of our guests.

I cannot get over how amazing the band was!!!!!!!!!!! From the moment we reached out to them with interest, to the week after the wedding; they were incredible and so easy to work with!! Yoni was so accommodating, easy to get a hold of and super responsive. The band itself was absolutely unreal... they were the talk of the night and every loved them. They had SOOOOO much energy and they knew how to get the crowd dancing all night long. I RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!!! We had the 10 piece band and having the horn section was so much fun. seriously-- hire this band!!!!

The most important part of our big day was music. My husband and I went to see showcases and multiple bands before finally dropping into a Kinky Spigot rehearsal. After that brief hour we knew we had to book them. My husband and I are not into conventional pop music, we're huge Phish and Grateful dead fans & wanted to incorporate that into our wedding which Kinky Spigot took to the next level for us! They learned a GD and Phish song for our ceremony as well as a Phish song for our first dance. They agreed to have a keyboard player at the ceremony in addition to a guitar player. We also had them play blue grass at the cocktail hour which the guests all loved and thought was very different from any other wedding they had been to. But then they really surprised us by playing Phish interludes as the guests were being seated for dinner. That personalization just made our night and completely blew us away since that was 100% their doing! A beautiful surprise for us. And for the non-Phish fans at our wedding...people could not stop raving about Kinky Spigot! The talent, professionalism and showmanship is second to none. They played a variety of music and kept everyone on the dance floor. This band really helped make our wedding day unique, personal and magical. Music is so important to us as a couple and it was essential for that to come through at our wedding and they delivered. Could not recommend these guys high enough! A must book for whatever your music taste!

Hiring Kinky Spigot to play our wedding in August was one of the best and easiest decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Having seen them perform many times over the years, we knew they would guarantee a great dance party, and chose to prioritize Kinky Spigot in our fairly tight wedding budget as soon as we began planning. Their availability actually decided our wedding date! They were incredibly helpful and patient in all correspondence leading up to the wedding day, and gave us guidance on things that we wouldn't have thought of (us being first-time wedding planners). Their song list is amazing and extensive--and they generously learned new songs for us. We genuinely felt cared for in the process and were so grateful for that (wedding planning is stressful!)

On our wedding day, Kinky Spigot far exceeded our already very high expectations. The jazz trio played our cocktail hour, which was so, so lovely and set the tone for a really fun evening. During the reception they had EVERYONE on the dance floor, and we had guests of all ages telling us how amazing the band was (not only the best wedding band people had ever seen but one of the best live bands period).

We cannot recommend them enough, they are an amazing and FUN group of incredibly talented musicians/singers and we just had the best time dancing at our wedding.

There aren't enough positive things for me to say about Kinky Spigot. We booked the band for our wedding and had high expectations given all of their positive reviews (here, the Knot, weddingwire, etc.) and their awesome demo video, and even with those high expectations we were totally blown away.

I think the other glowing reviews say it as well as we could, so it's tough to know what to add. To hit on the highlights:

1) Their day-of performance was absolutely phenomenal - I know this is going to sound like a broken record given other reviews, but 10+ people commented on how this was easily the best wedding band they had ever seen, and several said they would pay to see the band play not at a wedding. Watch their demo video on youtube if you aren't sure.

2) Prior to the day-of, the band was incredibly easy to work with. Early in wedding planning, this is something that in all honesty I didn't pay enough attention to, and while some vendors caused us stress down the road, Kinky Spigot was the polar opposite. Every time we spoke prior to the wedding, Yoni and Nadav were calm, reassuring, and totally willing to help us achieve our vision (even when we weren't 100% sure what that vision was). We oscillated on several topics, but they were always flexible willing to accommodate, and more importantly it was clear throughout that they had everything under control.

3) Extra requests: this is less generally applicable but speaks to how great they were to work with. In addition to performing during our cocktail hour and reception, we wanted large speaker set-ups at both at the entrance to our venue and at the ceremony so we could play music from an iPad. The band was able to help set that up and work with our venue so that everything went off without a hitch on the day of.

Bottom line: I can't recommend this band highly enough. Really, truly, nothing but positive things to say about our entire experience with Kinky Spigot.

They may not have the most extensive song list out there, but their range and the way in which they play them have definitely reset the bar higher for the most fun and exhilarating wedding band ever. They played Stevie Wonder and Justin Bieber, Frank Sinatra and Jay-Z, Whitney Houston and Blur. And all in a big band way. They kept the rhythm going and everyone was on the dance floor. As the bride, I rarely left it all night long!

These guys are so easy-going and flexible. My husband and I hired one of their acoustic solo guitarists to perform the instrumentals for our ceremony and they were happy to learn new music that had great meaning for us. They know what they’re doing; all we did were pick out a bunch of songs that we absolutely wanted to hear (which was really difficult for us since we loved so many of the songs on their list), make a few requests, and let Nadav (the band leader and master of ceremonies) do the rest!

Kinky Spigot played our wedding in June, and I can't recommend them highly enough. We've heard over and over again from people of all generations how amazing they were. The dance floor was packed all night, and they played a great mix of songs that appealed to everyone. We were originally a little bit thrown off when they arrived without the lead singer (who sings on many of the songs on their demo videos and was a big reason for our interest in booking them), but the other singers were great and we had no complaints at all with their performance. If you are considering booking them, I encourage you to do it and rest easy with your decision--their energy and talent makes for a guaranteed great party with great music!
