Hire Jove. It's rare to find someone who is both so organizationally competent, and also so artistically creative. To put this in perspective: We had a 235 person wedding on a private property, that moved between 3 different locations (ceremony-cocktail hour-reception) with 5 minute walks between them. We needed to bring everything in from scratch including tent, bathrooms, all the vendors, transportation and hotel coordination (which wasn't easy in the Hamptons in the summer!)...it was a MASSIVE undertaking. We knew we needed outside help. Jove was wonderful. He is hugely creative and came up with the most gorgeous and distinctive design for our wedding, that was full of surprises, subtlety, and natural beauty. He has amazing taste, and passion for what he does. He listened and gave us the most unbelievable vendor recommendations - everyone was talented and people we would be friends with (and completely shared our taste). What we ended up with was a wedding that was 100% personalized and special, and our guests are still telling us how it was one of the most magical experiences they'd had. He's also a people person, which trust me, is vital. Not only did my husband and I love working him, but our parents ADORED him as well. He really became part of the family during our wedding week. You need someone who can handle everyone's perspectives and make everyone feel safe and heard, and he did that (while always being honest about his opinions). Also, even though he is so busy, he was patient and accommodating when I texted him about a random thought or question or inspiration...he really does provide first class service. As far as budget, he was upfront, with no hidden costs. He set realistic expectations and came within those limits so there were no surprises. He can help with an event of any size...he is an absolute gem. Best decision we made.

When you get married, if it’s not Jove Meyer that you’re saying ‘I do’ to, then you’re going to want to make sure he’s somewhere in the building. This guy is amazing. We recently tied the knot at a beautiful B&B in upstate New York, the site of one of our first getaways as a couple.

While the Inn is perfectly outfitted to house its overnight guests, our’s was the largest event it has hosted. We needed to rent and bring in all essentials - forks, knives, glasses, plates, extra furniture, all food, and of course typical items such as flowers, candles etc. Working with Jove made this entire experience a pleasure, we just focused on finding things we liked and he took care of the rest. I don’t know what kind of organizational wizardry he was doing behind the scenes, but his management made my wedding week one of the most relaxed and full of joy I can remember. The vendors he helped us find all delivered beyond our expectations and on budget, and he was consistently checking in with them to make sure everything was on track. Jove even coached the inn management through any issues they were dealing with while hosting the big event.

As wedding day approached I couldn’t believe how relaxed both me and my spouse were, we spent our entire wedding catching up with loved ones and just enjoying the party.

If I could give this guy 10 stars I would. As our wedding wrapped I heard repeatedly from friends and family that ours was the among the most unique, memorable and enjoyable they’ve attended. If you want a wedding that fits you and want to enjoy the entire process, you should start by getting in touch with Jove.

I cannot express enough how much I loved working with Jove!! When I decided to get married in New York City (instead of Cali where I'm from), I knew I wanted someone special to work with and Jove was the perfect choice. I wanted a Cali-
style wedding in Manhattan and Jove made that all happen for me. We hired Jove about a year before the wedding day and he was there for every step of the way. In our initial meeting, he REALLY took the time to get a sense of us as a couple and what was important to us on our wedding day (music, food, decor, etc.) ! Jove works with some of the best vendors in the business and he surrounded us with a phenomenal team (florist, stationary, photographer, videographer, etc.). Working with Jove day to day is awesome and a real joy! He's fun to be around, funny, super-organized, professional and has impeccable TASTE! I could not recommend Jove enough!!

His mastery of wedding and events planning really shone on the wedding day. His assistant Sloan was also a delight and kept us feeling happy and calm leading up to the ceremony. Every detail - from the round setting and the design, to the flowers and food and other vendors, was spectacular. I'll single out Yen to say she absolutely, completely, knocked it out of the park with all of the food, especially the Scottish touches that she promised and delivered on spectacularly.

You and Lauren were right in all of the choices, and although we could have gotten married in a parking lot and I would have been happy, what we got was magical beyond words.

Although I can't say I hope you plan my next wedding, I certainly hope I get the chance to be a guest at another Jove Meyer production.
