Jove Meyer, founder and principal of Jove Meyer Events, hails from a small beach town in southern California. He made his way to New York City to attend Columbia University, but rather than pursuing a law degree he instead followed his passions for design, details and planning.

Jove and his team specialize in creating personalized weddings that are a reflection of each couple's unique style, personality and relationship. He believes in a relaxed approach when guiding the planning and design process, creating a fun and stress-free experience. Jove Meyer Events is known for collaborating with some of the best vendors around to create fresh, beautiful and one of a kind events.

Jove is a passionate advocate for marriage equality and inclusivity. He co-taught the first LGBT wedding webinar in partnership with The Knot and speaks about attracting and working with queer couples worldwide on stages including The Knot Workshops, the Engage Summit, Destination Wedding Planners Congress, Hustle and Flow and many others. Jove donates a portion of his tote bag proceeds to support this cause.

Erin is a creative soul and a sucker for a killer romance! She has a varied background in the Interior Design industry, and therefore believes strongly in the power of small details and big moments.

Working in event planning and design beautifully combines her passion for magical spaces, unique visual elements, and pulling together all of the details!

Having recently been married herself, Erin understands the importance of capturing those special moments and the art of creating an experience that is true to you. One of the greatest aspects of her job is getting to know the unique nuances of your love and relationship as a couple and discovering the best ways to reflect that on your special day! She can’t wait to help tell your love story!

Skye is an activist, writer, a lover of musical theatre sing-a-longs and a lifelong vegetarian (let her know if you need any recipes). She is originally from St. Petersburg, FL and loves nothing more than sitting on the beach.

She received her B.F.A. In Stage Management from the University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music. (Go Bearcats!) Skye’s background as a stage manager in theatre gave her a heightened attention to detail and a love for organization as well as a passion for supporting designs and dreams as they come to life. That dream can be in plays, musicals, operas and of course- weddings!

Skye’s background in theatre combined with being a newlywed herself created a passion for planning weddings that are as unique as you are. For her own wedding weekend, she worked with the venue’s executive chef and team to create an entirely vegan and gluten-free menu. She is devoted to making your big day all about you. Skye is so excited to be a part of Jove Meyer Events where the focus is intersectional love and authentic celebrations. She can’t wait to help with your “happily ever after”!
