Just Wow. Hire Jove.

Hire Jove. It's rare to find someone who is both so organizationally competent, and also so artistically creative. To put this in perspective: We had a 235 person wedding on a private property, that moved between 3 different locations (ceremony-cocktail hour-reception) with 5 minute walks between them. We needed to bring everything in from scratch including tent, bathrooms, all the vendors, transportation and hotel coordination (which wasn't easy in the Hamptons in the summer!)...it was a MASSIVE undertaking. We knew we needed outside help. Jove was wonderful. He is hugely creative and came up with the most gorgeous and distinctive design for our wedding, that was full of surprises, subtlety, and natural beauty. He has amazing taste, and passion for what he does. He listened and gave us the most unbelievable vendor recommendations - everyone was talented and people we would be friends with (and completely shared our taste). What we ended up with was a wedding that was 100% personalized and special, and our guests are still telling us how it was one of the most magical experiences they'd had. He's also a people person, which trust me, is vital. Not only did my husband and I love working him, but our parents ADORED him as well. He really became part of the family during our wedding week. You need someone who can handle everyone's perspectives and make everyone feel safe and heard, and he did that (while always being honest about his opinions). Also, even though he is so busy, he was patient and accommodating when I texted him about a random thought or question or inspiration...he really does provide first class service. As far as budget, he was upfront, with no hidden costs. He set realistic expectations and came within those limits so there were no surprises. He can help with an event of any size...he is an absolute gem. Best decision we made.

When you get married, if it’s not Jove Meyer that you’re saying ‘I do’ to, then you’re going to want to make sure he’s somewhere in the building. This guy is amazing. We recently tied the knot at a beautiful B&B in upstate New York, the site of one of our first getaways as a couple.

While the Inn is perfectly outfitted to house its overnight guests, our’s was the largest event it has hosted. We needed to rent and bring in all essentials - forks, knives, glasses, plates, extra furniture, all food, and of course typical items such as flowers, candles etc. Working with Jove made this entire experience a pleasure, we just focused on finding things we liked and he took care of the rest. I don’t know what kind of organizational wizardry he was doing behind the scenes, but his management made my wedding week one of the most relaxed and full of joy I can remember. The vendors he helped us find all delivered beyond our expectations and on budget, and he was consistently checking in with them to make sure everything was on track. Jove even coached the inn management through any issues they were dealing with while hosting the big event.

As wedding day approached I couldn’t believe how relaxed both me and my spouse were, we spent our entire wedding catching up with loved ones and just enjoying the party.

If I could give this guy 10 stars I would. As our wedding wrapped I heard repeatedly from friends and family that ours was the among the most unique, memorable and enjoyable they’ve attended. If you want a wedding that fits you and want to enjoy the entire process, you should start by getting in touch with Jove.

I cannot express enough how much I loved working with Jove!! When I decided to get married in New York City (instead of Cali where I'm from), I knew I wanted someone special to work with and Jove was the perfect choice. I wanted a Cali-
style wedding in Manhattan and Jove made that all happen for me. We hired Jove about a year before the wedding day and he was there for every step of the way. In our initial meeting, he REALLY took the time to get a sense of us as a couple and what was important to us on our wedding day (music, food, decor, etc.) ! Jove works with some of the best vendors in the business and he surrounded us with a phenomenal team (florist, stationary, photographer, videographer, etc.). Working with Jove day to day is awesome and a real joy! He's fun to be around, funny, super-organized, professional and has impeccable TASTE! I could not recommend Jove enough!!

Jove was an absolute pleasure to work with. He has a strong creative vision and his professional connections gave us the opportunity to work with the best vendors in NYC. His mastery of wedding and events planning really shone on the wedding day. His assistant Sloan was also a delight and kept us feeling happy and calm leading up to the ceremony. We had our dream wedding this year, and we could not have pulled it off it without Jove Meyer. We found out about him through interviews and glowing online reviews (like this one!). It turned out he had worked with our very close friends on their wedding - which was one of the most fun we’ve ever attended and perfectly suited to them. Jove worked closely with us from the very beginning, guiding us through the process, keeping us on schedule, and making sure everything came together perfectly. Even when we didn’t see the big picture clearly, he always steered us in the right direction with intelligence and patience, and helped us to find the perfect vendors for our wedding. Then on our wedding weekend, he handled everything we threw at him with charm and grace. Jove is a truly talented, kind, smart, professional, funny, and wise wedding planner, and we are so lucky to have worked with him, and we highly recommend him to any couple getting married.

Every detail - from the round setting and the design, to the flowers and food and other vendors, was spectacular. I'll single out Yen to say she absolutely, completely, knocked it out of the park with all of the food, especially the Scottish touches that she promised and delivered on spectacularly.

You and Lauren were right in all of the choices, and although we could have gotten married in a parking lot and I would have been happy, what we got was magical beyond words.

Although I can't say I hope you plan my next wedding, I certainly hope I get the chance to be a guest at another Jove Meyer production.

I will start by saying, my husband and I could not have executed our wedding without Jove (and his team). He was extremely valuable in all aspects of the process, from sourcing vendors to having him and his team ensure that the actual wedding day proceeded smoothly. Jove's professionalism and attention to detail is unmatched, and honestly, he just gets stuff done. On top of that, he is a very nice guy, easy to work with, and responsive. I would definitely recommend him to anybody who is either looking for a wedding planner or is on the fence about using a wedding planner.

Jove was a joy to work with, always responding with good humor and equanimity to whatever issues arose as we planned our wedding. In truth, these "issues" were always minor, due in no small part to the professionalism of the excellent vendors suggested by Jove. On the actual day, we had to do nothing more than show up. Jove coordinated every element of the wedding, one that was characterized by more than one of our guests as "magical." (They seemed to really mean it!) We couldn't have done it without Jove--or we could have, but really, really badly--and we'll be forever grateful for his services.

Jove was the best wedding planner we could have imagined. He was focused and professional every step of the way. He was as present when we were selecting vendors months ahead as he was while coordinating speech timing during the wedding reception. It was through him that we discovered our band, caterer, and florist, each of which were unforgettable parts of the best day of our lives. He is obviously also kind and incredibly knowledgable, and clearly passionate about what he does. The venue was a big, DIY-style room, and Jove had a well of insight at virtually every turn to help us pick the right vendors for our wedding, from tablecloths to dessert.

Moreover, he cares about the people he works with, shown by his relationships to many of the vendors he collaborates with. He went the extra mile to cater to our wants and needs on multiple occasions. We had a lot of family and friends coming from out of town, staying in the middle of New York City for the first time. Luckily, we had Jove to help ensure smooth sailing, allowing us to enjoy celebrating with our guests over the weekend.

We can't recommend working with Jove enough, and will always be grateful for all the hard work he put into our wedding day.

We worked with Jove for roughly two years (long planning period to minimize anxiety). That is quite a bit time to spend with an ostensible stranger. Let alone someone you're trusting to plan one of the most personal milestones of your life; you need them to give you accurate advice, use your time effectively, exhibit compassion for the emotional bits, trust that they understand your tastes even when you can't fully articulate it and most importantly have your best interests at heart. I couldn't really ask all those things of my own mother. Further, neither of us had ever planned or been involved with the planning of a wedding, so we were pretty green. Our experience with Jove was less like having someone in our employ, but more like having a very knowledgeable friend at our side for the big decisions.
There are a LOT of moments I could write about that caused me and my husband to turn and say "THANK THE LORD WE HIRED JOVE," but to spare you a novel I will say the two biggest examples are:
-EVERY time we met a new vendor that Jove recommended we always instantly liked them. And their work always spoke for itself. There was none of this "they're a jerk, but a GENIUS" nonsense that we often experience in NY. They all produced top tier quality and were so wonderful to be around. Jove is great, but the team he surrounds himself with makes him worth his weight in gold.
-Day of the wedding. I'll say it again. Day. Of. The. Wedding. I've have never seen someone so on his game before. We literally didn't have think about anything other than just enjoying the day. And enjoy the day we did. During the event itself he was like the wind. He helped me plan some special moments, made sure my husband, my in-laws, my parents and I always had drinks. Accommodated an un-RSVPd guest with a full dinner seconds before people were sat. And also was just a general good presence to have around.
Hire him and trust that you made the best decision of the whole process.

We hired Jove for our "day-of" planner and couldn't have been happier. I knew after our three hour prep meeting (when we made the most glorious and detailed schedule I have ever seen) that we made the right choice in Jove. Jove and his assistant made sure everything ran smoothly on the Big Day — wrangled our roaming friends and family, tended to specific decorative elements, etc. — with class and charm to boot. Our wedding was magic and we couldn't have done it without Jove + his team. Hire him!

If you want a wedding planner who's going to make the process easy and fun, you can't do better than Jove. We had such a blast planning our wedding with him, from the initial meeting over cocktails to our final session over wine. We came to him with a really half-baked vision and he brought it to life, recommending vendors that were exactly in line with our style. It was just so much less stressful choosing vendors when I knew that Jove had worked with them all before and could guarantee that we would love them. I completely trusted his opinion the entire time and it paid off in the most perfect wedding imaginable. We had a somewhat difficult situation (a venue with a coordinator who wasn't happy we hired another planner) but Jove handled the situation with grace, diffusing tension and making sure there were no hard feelings on the wedding day. During the reception, he was amazing at making sure we had water, food etc. and keeping guests away from us when we wanted a little time for ourselves. I can't thank him enough for all his help and would whole heartedly recommend him to others!!

We worked with Jove and signed on for his Partial Planning package for our wedding this June, and we couldn't have been happier with the decision. Getting married in a raw space in Brooklyn, my husband and I were really concerned about all of the moving pieces for the day, and how the wedding would come together in the end. At every step, having Jove's help and counsel assuaged our anxieties. He helped us choose and manage four of our most important vendors and Jove's impeccable taste and wedding expertise was clear throughout the process! He was patient with many an annoying e-mail and answered all of my questions no matter how minor. Jove's team was also stellar on the day of - everything went off without a hitch and the space looked beautiful. We are still getting compliments from our family and friends about everything! We literally can not say enough good things about Jove Meyer. He was an invaluable resource to us during the planning of our wedding, and especially on the day of the event. His creativity, intelligence, attention to detail, professionalism, and humor helped put us at ease that our wedding was going to be everything we wanted it to be. It was the best day of our lives, in large part because we could trust Jove to take care of all of the details so that all we had to do was relax and enjoy the festivities. Jove Meyer is the most amazing event planner I have ever encountered. From our first intro meeting 15 months ago, Jove set the tone for warmth, fun, beauty and incredible organization...without any of us feeling the stress or pressure. I honestly have never worked with someone who is both extremely professional and also inclusive and calm.

Jove never misses a beat. He masters the major framework and every little, insignificant detail from initial planning until the last guest leaves the wedding.

The best part about Jove and his intern, Sloan, is that they made my daughter, her fiance and me feel comfortable, supported and truly pampered at all times. I don't know how they did it, but the entire wedding process was joyful for all of us.

Jove also has impeccable taste and takes his lead from the bride. He knows how to step in and step back (he never steps back, but no one realizes he's executing every move flawlessly).

Work with Jove. It's as far from "work" as you'll ever experience.

Having never been married before, I didn’t know what to expect. I had heard from friends that it was very stressful, but totally worth it.

From the moment I met Jove on the phone, I knew it didn’t have to be stressful. We started working together almost a year and half before the wedding, and he timed everything perfectly.

Jove has an excellent arsenal of wedding vendors. It can be overwhelming to choose the perfect photographer, florist or DJ. Jove really read my husband and I well, and curated the most talented team.

My husband and I tend to shy away from the camera. With this in mind, Jove recommended a photographer that suited us perfectly, aesthetically and emotionally. The flowers were out of this world. They literally took my breath away. And, the DJ created an epic dance party. We have not stopped smiling since the wedding.

Jove has an incredible ability to tell you exactly what you need to know. Nothing more or nothing less. I am sure there were many stressful scenarios, from coordinating vendors to managing strong and conflicting opinions. We never caught wind of any of it. Particularly, the weekend of the wedding.

We also had the pleasure of working with Jove’s intern, Sloan. The two of them really made the weekend flawless. Starting with the welcome dinner, they anticipated what we needed before we knew what we needed. We wanted the weekend to be filled with warmth and love, and Jove and Sloan made sure every single person felt that way.

We are a pretty colorful couple, and this was definitely the happiest and most colorful weekend of our lives.

Weddings can be stressful, especially the planning. However, we minimized our stress by hiring Jove. Not only did he touch base with us prior to the wedding often to make sure that we were on track but he gave us so many ideas on things that we would never have thought of. And, on the day of the wedding and reception, Jove and his assistant essentially made it so we didn't have to think or worry about anything. I am obsessed with Jove. He came highly recommended by our photographer. We first met him at a bar near our apartment so he could get to know us. After that, every single vendor recommendation he sent us was spot on. Jove has immaculate taste and the most unique ideas. He compiled a serious dream team of Brooklyn vendors who were all beyond talented and so much fun to work with.

The day of the wedding, Jove was a machine. Everything went off perfectly. Literally nothing went wrong (at least that I knew of....). Jove made sure every detail was perfectly executed. It was the best night of our lives and we have Jove to thank for that.

We're strongly considering a very elaborate 1st anniversary party just so we can have another excuse to work with Jove Meyer Events again....

When the bride says her wedding was the best day of her life you know you hired a phenomenal wedding planner. Jove was able to provide fabulous vendors for every request and was terrific at adding his creativity to the ideas of the bride and groom. He was also very sensitive and successful at staying within the initial budget. We knew that we made the right decision time and time again when our venues and vendors kept raving about him.
When the big day arrived everything was right on time and according to plan. The out of towners, not used to a Brooklyn wedding were blown away by the venues, the food, the flowers and every detail.
The bride and groom developed a wonderful trust for Jove and as a result they spent almost a year planning an amazing wedding virtually stress free.

We could not recommend Jove enough. We planned our wedding across coasts (Wedding in NY, we live in San Francisco). Jove not only helped us have the wedding of our dreams (we reminisce frequently), but he made the planning process fun and enjoyable. Picking Jove as our Wedding Planner was the best decision we made for our wedding!

Jove always provided great options and vendors tailored to our requests and preferences. He was extremely patient as we made decisions. We ended up with an incredible venue, incredible band, photographer, videographer, and kosher caterer that made the night so special. He worked closely with us on the design of the night, and helped us pick a florist that helped realize that vision. The first moment we saw the reception hall the night of our wedding, our breath was taken away. Jove went above and beyond helping us plan our Rehearsal Dinner and Sunday Brunch following the wedding. We had a special bagel spot in mind to cater the Sunday Brunch, and Jove found creative solutions to make it work for an awesome spot in Brooklyn, near our hotels.

The weekend of the wedding, Jove was on top of everything. We (along with our families) could focus on enjoying the celebration, and Jove ran a perfect show.

If you are considering Jove as your wedding planner, you will not be disappointed with the process and the resulting wedding! We miss our planning sessions with him!

Jove Meyer Events was highly recommended by all of our vendors and we are so pleased we used their Day-Of Coordination services for our recent Valentine's Day wedding at 501 Union. The two most concrete ways Marilys set us up for success were:
1) Providing a template to track each detail of the wedding (timeline, supplies, vendor contact information, payment status, and other important information). We knew that she had pre-thought every detail and question we would have to answer, so we never worried about overlooking any aspect of the planning process since her template was so thorough and allowed us to work as a team.
2) Setting up all of our decorations and supplies which completely transformed the venue from the moment we walked into to take pictures on the wedding day. We had some clear directives and some grayer areas regarding set up; Marilys took all of our directions perfectly and executed her own vision for certain details, too. The result was absolutely beautiful and beyond what we could have imagined. We felt so confident about set up on the morning of the wedding since we knew it was in Marilys' capable hands.

These are concrete ways Marilys contributed to our success; there are multiple other ways she helped out that are less tangible but equally meaningful. She was constantly available via phone, email, or text; she kept us laughing throughout the planning process and during the day itself; she managed family and vendor politics with aplomb; and most importantly, she never let us get caught up in the chaos and made sure we took time for ourselves on the most important day of our lives.

We are grateful to Jove and Marilys for their thorough approach to planning and detail-oriented execution.

Jove Meyer was an amazing resource for our wedding! He kept the whole process on track for us, especially when the planning phase was becoming challenging. He was invaluable during the day of the wedding - with so many things going on, it would have been impossible to manage family, friends, and vendors simultaneously, and Jove was like a trusted friend that suddenly appeared just before something needed attention, and handled everything tactfully and with grace. We highly recommend him!

Jove provided day-of coordination services for our event, as well as helping us book and plan several of our vendors. Jove and his team were essential in keeping our multi-location, many-person wedding moving smoothly, including coordinating a rescue when a bus broke down. Jove and his team helped with decor/venue set up and used Jove's great eye to ensure that everything was just right. They were a critical part of our the success of our wedding day, and they even dressed in our wedding theme! If we weren’t planning to stay married, we’d totally use them next time.

I was very nervous about the wedding process, and as a project manager myself, I knew that I would only feel my best if I knew that everything was in its place and taken care of.

Jove made sure that every detail was accounted for from beginning to end, and he made me feel relaxed the entire time...even when hail, rain and snow threatened to derail my outdoor ceremony. I spent my entire day grinning from ear to ear, and Jove was a major part of that. Jove is fun, professional, kind and extremely organized. Highly recommend!

My Husband and I hired Erin Jean of Jove Meyer Events to be our day of coordinator at our wedding. We are both designers, so were very specific about everything from table settings, flowers, miscellaneous things that needed to be set up. Erinn nailed everything! Even the last minute late night pizza delivery request at our after party. I would 100% recommend hiring Jove Meyer Events. They are responsible, responsive, and genuine people. We knew from day 1 of meeting them, they wanted our wedding to be a success.

The only bad thing I can say is that 5 stars isn't enough for Jove Meyers Events.
My wife and I live in Chicago but she's from Brooklyn so a wedding in New York was the plan. After months of trying to do it ourself we realized we needed help. After a few weeks of looking we came across Jove.
Immediately we knew he was going to be a partner in our wedding.
He called it "our wedding" and he meant it. My wife instantly loved him and he took action. You don't know what a planner does until you see it all come together. We've all witnessed planners at weddings, offer they are intrusive and a bore, often unliked. The absolute opposite with Jove, my family and friends loved him and his team so much that I think they are in the family pictures now. Not just the wedding ones, but we've added him to pictures from the 1980's, my high school year book, etc. Lol.

I can't say how much I appreciate Jove. Jove and his team took care of us & everything. Not only coordinating 3 caterers, a food truck, flowers, transportation, he even made sure we stayed hydrated and fed.
As important Jove made sure we didn't pay for services he provided that we didn't need, saving us on the budget. He was honest and fair at every turn.

Jove took my very anxious wife, on a very anxious day and immediately put her at ease as promised, he delivered.

We couldn't have had the perfect wedding without Jove. He was absolutely right "our wedding" was perfect. We love Jove!
If you are planning a wedding do yourself a solid and call Jove Meyers Events. If it's where you start it will be where you end up. He's amazing!

Jove is a pleasure in which to work. His sense of creativity is balanced nicely by his professionalism. Timelines were met and achieved all with a dash of élan. He was particularly adroit at managing the day of the wedding, seamlessly meshing the myriad of wild cards that always arise with a major event into a beautiful day that will always live as a fantastic memory.

I really can't imagine what our wedding would have been like without Jove. In addition to being terrifically organized and super knowledgeable, he is just an awesome guy to be around.

Our wedding involved a lot of moving parts, since we were working with a venue that had no in-house vendors. We had three food vendors and desserts from five different places! Amazingly, everything went off without a hitch.

I am a very "diy" type of individual, but no amount of Googling can really prepare you for the number of questions that will come up when you are planning a wedding. Jove has a ton of great tips if you want alternatives to "traditional" wedding customs, though I could see him being a great fit with any type of wedding. His services are worth every penny.

Whether you want to have a 500-person fete at the Museum of Natural History or 50 people on a Brooklyn rooftop, do yourself a favor and hire Jove! I can't recommend him highly enough.

Jove and Marilys were extremely organized and on top of every detail. They helped us plan out the schedule in meticulous detail all while maintaining a calm demeanor that kept us from stressing out too much in the days leading up to the event. We especially appreciated their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our work schedules, meeting with us at our apartment on a Friday evening and taking our FaceTime calls late at night. They were also great at working with the other vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page. It rained on our big day and Marilys switched gears seamlessly and implemented our rain plan without a hitch. Many of our guests commented on how polite and professional Marilys was and how well the event flowed. I would recommend Jove Meyer Events to anyone looking for an event planner.

Where do I even begin with Jove...it was love at first (SKYPE) sight. I live in Chicago, from NY, and was about to plan a wedding in Brooklyn. I knew I needed a wedding planner, and what I got was not only a wedding planner but an artist, a decorator, a visionary, a FRIEND! Jove helped us pick out every vendor we used, from photographer, florist, DJ, and the AMAZING food trucks. He provided choices for each vendor based on our "vibe" (a word he must have gotten sick of me using by the end), our budget, and taste. Jove visited each vendor with us, helping to make the right choices, and I am 100% THRILLED with each and every choice we made. After picking the vendors, Jove helped bring the "vision" to life with the design and the structure of the day, truly making it a dream come true! I can not say enough how highly I think of Jove and his work, and thinking of more events we can plan together!

Jove was our full-service wedding planner for my husband and I, who got married in Brooklyn. In looking back at the entire wedding planning process and how crazy/stressful it can be (particularly in NY), I do not know how we would have survived without Jove.

Jove has incredible taste, vision, and creative direction. He transformed a warehouse in Brooklyn into an incredible and beautiful venue with unique touches and components. He was the perfect complement - working within our budget, recommending a variety of appropriate vendors, and executing above and beyond the day we had discussed.

If it weren't for Jove, we also wouldn't have found our amazing band, our lighting company, rentals, and caterer - some of our favorite vendors! He listened to our preferences and budget and offered the perfect fit. This within itself saved a lot of time, energy, and effort in the planning process.

Jove was professional, on-time, responsive, during our entire planning process!

SPECTACULAR is the word for the February, 2015 wedding of our daughter and (now) son in law at the Green Building in Brooklyn. Jove was the mastermind. We were concerned about planning a wedding from Minnesota with guests traveling in from all over the US and foreign countries, but Jove and his staff were the perfect team. They understood our budget, recommended great vendors---caterer, hotel, DJ, photographer, florist, lighting, etc.---managed the year long planning process skillfully and dealt with all of our stress points as they arose during the year. And, Jove nailed the day of the wedding. It was perfect and our daughter and son in law were so happy. And that made us happier.

We had a lot of fun with Jove and our kids on this journey. So, we have a year of good memories capped by the whirlwind event itself. We are still fielding "Kudos" from family and friends who enjoyed the wedding.

We highly recommend Jove and his team and we look forward to planning (at least) one more wedding with him.

I got married on Pi day. I gave Jove quite a bit of a challenge when I asked him to help me with the day of the wedding planning. My wedding was a star wars/Chinese/Italian/Jewish themed wedding with the reception being at a Chinese banquet hall where many of the employees did not speak English. Jove took on the challenge with a smile on his face and made everything meld together seamlessly on that day. I really don't know what I would have done without him. He knew his way around almost every tradition and item we needed to have at the wedding and the ones he didn't know he sought the help of his nerdy colleagues to assist him.

He made pulling off a 200 person multi-cultural wedding with a very difficult language barrier seem like a breeze. I cannot recommend Jove and his team enough. Even though I only hired him for day of services, he made sure that I knew that I could rely on him for the duration of my planning and especially the month before. Jove, thank you so much for a job really well done

Our wedding photographer Isabelle Selby recommended that we use Jove Meyer because they had worked at a few weddings together, and we are SO glad that she did. Naturally, a few months before the wedding we realized that there were too many small details in the planning of the wedding that we didn't have the time or the knowledge to really handle. We could line up the venue, vendors, payments, etc, but the actual timeline of the wedding day and how everything would run seamlessly from one thing to the next seemed like a big mountain to climb. Enter Jove. After an initial phone call, Jove met with my fiancé and I for two hours and went over the wedding planning with us. We decided to use his day of/month of wedding coordination service as we had already lined up several vendors. Jove is a great guy, and obviously very detail-oriented and organized. A week before the wedding, we did a walk through at the venue with Jove and at that point we felt really at ease that everything would go perfectly. Basically, with Jove's assistance, everything DID go perfectly. I could list all the little things that Jove took care of on the day of our wedding, but I guess that's the point. There were so many little practical things that by themselves were simple but there were A LOT of them. Things you don't even think about until they happen. Jove was on point and took care of all of them, leaving us free to have the best night of our lives. Do yourself a massive favor and hire Jove!!!

We hired Jove Meyer for full service planning and coordination for our wedding in Williamsburg. We were initially drawn to Jove's style - he wasn't like the million other wedding planners you can hire in NYC and we didn't want our wedding to be like a million other NYC weddings. We knew we wanted our wedding to have a Brooklyn flavor and Jove fit with that perfectly. His rates were great too.

Jove just got us. He knew the look & feel we were going for for our event right off the bat. One of his greatest strengths was hooking us up with other vendors who were just right for us. After meeting us and getting a vibe for our personalities, he knew exactly which venue, photographer, videographer, caterer, DJ, and make-up artist would put us at ease and mesh with our aesthetic. He knew who would work together well as a team. He made the contract process easy with everyone (and got us some good deals too). He met & emailed with us countless times in the year leading up to our wedding, but knew when we just wanted space to do our thing too.

Jove absolutely wowed us as a day-of coordinator. I had zero stress or worries about everything happening as it was supposed to. There was not a single snafu or detail that I had to deal with and I know from after the fact that it wasn't like there weren't glitches - it was just that Jove handled them behind the scenes like a pro and kept them from distracting us from what was really important that day. He did everything I asked him to do; anything I didn't ask for, he made the right decision for me. After the event they took care of everything - we ran off to the after-party and came home to a clean apartment with all our decor packed up and an adorable photobooth pic of the two of us stuck to the fridge.

Basically all you need to know is that Jove is a total pro, he works with pros, and he's worth every penny (and it will be fewer pennies than other planners in the area).

Jove was my full-service planner from the time I got engaged (January 2013) to the day I got married (October 18th 2014). And he is solidly the *BEST*. From respecting my budget, to my preferences, knowing what I wanted before I did, throughout the whole process he was amazing. His vendor suggestions were amazing, friendly, talented people that I definitely would not have found on my own.

And the day of, OMG was it beautiful and so beyond perfect. I had a kind of tricky schedule day of: myself, the groom, and the whole wedding party, took the subway and walked to the venue with photographers and videographer in tow. Jove worked out the whole schedule, navigated around G train service suspensions, had an assistant with me all morning while the ladies were getting ready at my apt, and when I made it to the venue it was BEAUTIFUL. Everything looked better than I imagined. everything throughout the evening went so flawlessly. If there were any issues, I didn't know about them, or notice them, which seems pretty perfect to me. My guests had a great time, and Jove and his assistant were around the whole evening to help with any and all questions the guests had.

Just another little note about how awesome Jove was, when the ceremony was over, Jove had set a plate of all the appetizers, and two of our cocktails in the venue's bridal suite for my husband and I to enjoy just the two of us. Every time we entered that room throughout the night, there were extra snacks, drinks, cake, he even knew to put my perfume and lipstick out for touchups. SO GENIUS.

Seriously - Jove is top notch, hire him as your planner and your day will be the best. No regrets 10/10 would recommend.

Jove was like a little planning angel sent to us from heaven. Our wonderful planner went on maternity leave and hooked us up with Jove for month of coordination. We could write a book with all the nice things we want to say! Whether your wedding is elaborate or simple, traditional or quirky- you NEED Jove! Ours was on the quirky side, and he and his wonderful assistant Erin not only got us, but had our backs and were true superheroes from the moment we met until the last guest left our event. We felt so safe in their hands, and everyone complimented us on their work. They seamlessly helped us juggle a large party with non-traditional seating arrangements, helped us pull off the reveal of a surprise marching band, designed our colorful ceremony backdrop and lighting scheme, and turned our venue into a glow stick heaven for our dance party. They will literally get you to the venue, physically get you down the aisle, and take the best care of you and your loved ones all day long- making it all look so easy. We highly recommend the month long planning package at minimum. There are so many tiny details to go over leading into your day and knowing Jove Meyer Events was on top of it all was a huge relief for me, as I can be a huge worry wart. This is especially true if your venue is a blank canvas like ours was! We truly appreciated having a 4 hour meeting in which every detail was unloaded from our own brains into Jove's extremely helpful spreadsheet that spelled out every hour of the wedding day. Additionally, Jove has great industry contacts and was always very responsive to our emails and questions. My husband and I are beyond thrilled to have not only worked with Jove and Erin, but to have become their friends. We still can't get over how perfect our day was thanks to Jove Meyer Events.

We used Jove as our month/day of coordinator. As many brides will relate, I was a hot mess the month leading up to our first meeting with Jove. There were too many details to organize and coordinate on my own, while managing work and life. Once we met with Jove, he took on every little detail, asked all the questions we didn't know to ask, and I had all the faith in the world that he would take care of us. And he did, right down to the minute.

Not only is Jove professional and punctual, he is fun. He has good energy, and he's a positive person. He makes people happy, and that's a major bonus. Our guests felt completely taken care of because Jove managed our wedding like clockwork, he was friendly, and I knew I didn't have to worry about anything, because he was already on it.

Marilys and Jove came in during our last month of wedding planning. We were needing some extra help with our venue and needed reinforcements! However, we quickly realized that we needed Marilys for so much more! She provided us with such peace of mind on the final lead up and on the day of our wedding.

On the day of our wedding, 30 minutes before our ceremony was due to start, the heavens opened and the most powerful thunderstorm erupted! Family members were starting to get alarmed and panic, but Marilys expertly navigated the switch to our indoor plan in the reception space.

There were so many challenges on the day-of, and she shielded us from them so all we had to do was focus on enjoying the moment. A particular talent she has, besides being very cool in the face of stress, is her incredible ability to deal with some very difficult people and smooth over any challenge that comes up. She was invaluable and probably the best investment we made in the whole budget!

If you are not sure you need a day-of planner, I would say you DO! Get one. It will save you and your fiancé so much stress and you will feel so much more confident and relaxed going into your special day.

I would highly recommend Marilys and Jove Meyer events - and if I ever do any other events in the future, they will be the first call I make!

Jove was one of the main reasons that our wedding went off without a single hitch. He was there every single step of the way on the day of the wedding and he was instrumental in keeping everyone organized in the month leading up to the big day.

His team is professional and is there to make sure everything falls into place and troubleshoot accordingly. Jove is very creative and has a particular eye for detail. His suggestions and guidance really made our wedding come alive in a way that wouldn't have been possible without his expertise.

He was a true joy to work with and I can't recommend him highly enough for any type of event. I know that I'll definitely be tapping him again for future events.

Jove acted as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding at the Wythe Hotel and was absolutely fantastic.

My wife and I are very organized and were somewhat hesitant to hire a Day of Coordinator and thought we were prepared for the wedding. We know that having Jove's help was a big part of what made our wedding day run so smoothly. We were allowed to enjoy the day and not be bothered with any day of logistics.

From our very first meeting, Jove impressed us with his thoughtfulness and organization. His execution on the day of our wedding was flawless. Jove was always very professional, unruffled by any unexpected happenings, and was constantly working behind the scenes. In fact, he did so many special, over-the-top things that were decisions he made indepently that we will never forget. A couple examples:
-He located and coordinated an unused loft hotel room that allowed us to take spectacular sunset photos with the NYC skyline. The timing was absolutely perfect and pictures are incredible.
-To our surprise, he set up our hotel room beautifully for when the night was over (flower petals, flower arrangements from the party and candles).

We would highly recommend Jove!

We initially hired Jove as our Day of Coordinator, however as we only had 4.5 months to plan and both of us have very demanding work schedules, we quickly realized we couldn't do everything ourselves and decided to hire Jove to help source a few important vendors for us as well. He nailed it!! Especially the florist and photo booth. We didn't even know what our flowers looked like until we got to the ceremony (now that's trust), but he took our vision and executed right on point to make it all come together with sheer perfection! The most important part of working with Jove is we got to enjoy our day with our loved ones without worrying about a single detail. From the ceremony, to the luncheon reception, to the after rooftop party...everything was flawlessly executed...and exactly what we had envisioned! He was also great for bouncing ideas off throughout the planning process. Not only is he ultra professional, he is also absolutely ADORABLE and fun. Would "totes" ;) recommend Jove if you are looking for a Day of Coordinator and need help sourcing vendors for your wedding or other important milestone event.

Hiring Jove as a month/day-of planner was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Jove was extremely professional, organized and, on top of that, fun. I hired Jove after a very short meeting with him almost a year ago. He was recommended to me by the venue that we chose for our wedding. From the minute we met, I knew that he was exactly what I was looking for. He was organized, sweet, responsive, funny and overall on top of his game! Throughout the wedding process, I used his expertise for everything from opinions on my ever-changing seating chart, recommendations for late night food delivery for the event, to helping facilitate any issues I had with other vendors that I had. He is extremely detail oriented and locked into your event, even though he has endless other weddings to coordinate the minute your event is over. I am so grateful that I took my venue's recommendation to hire him to be a part of our wedding day because the day itself took up seamlessly. We hired Jove as our day of/month of planner for our wedding and I'm so happy that we did. Not only does he have great relationships with vendors, an amazing positive attitude, an incredible eye for detail and decor but he has an excellent grasp of how the experience of the wedding day should be for the bride and groom. Our wedding day was so stress-free for us because he took care of everything, and he took care of us. He made sure we always had a glass of champagne, and that we had time to sit and eat together (which is not easy!). And while not everything at our wedding went according to plan (nor did we expect it to) Jove handled everything calmly and quickly and insulated us from the stress of problem-solving. Jove is honest, friendly, helpful, smart and we would highly recommend him to anyone. Everyone we worked with or spoke to who knew Jove or had worked with him in the past had nothing but positive things to say about him -- we heard "Oh you're working with Jove? I LOVE Jove!!", countless times and we knew it was a good sign.
We can't say enough positive things about our experience working with him, and if we could do it all over we would hire Jove again in a heartbeat.

Jove Meyer is, quite simply, a bride's best friend. From start to finish, Jove was able to put me at ease as my wedding coordinator and manage all of the many moving parts, personal touches, and DIY details we incorporated into our wedding. He has a thoughtful, streamlined process to wedding planning and coordinating that works very well for a Type A, chronic worrier like me. He listened to all of my concerns and was always there when I had a question or something I was losing sleep over. Every email I received from Jove leading up to the wedding made me feel 200% less stressed, even if it consisted of only one word or an emoticon. His unwavering upbeat attitude is immediately calming. When I arrived at my wedding reception, I was absolutely blown away by Jove's work. He had not only executed my vision exactly as I communicated it to him - he added millions of other wonderful details that I never would have thought of myself. It was so beautiful, I could hardly believe it was my wedding. Jove did a fantastic job of managing our reception timeline and events, and checking to make sure me and my husband had everything we needed. It made it easy for both of us to relax and enjoy being with our guests. If you are looking for an events planner or coordinator, you should hire Jove while you can still afford him. It would not surprise me at all if he has his own show on TLC in less than a year. I would work with him again in a heartbeat!

One of the best decisions we made during our planning process was hiring Jove Meyer to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding at The Bell House. Jove was recommended to us by our caterer after we decided we would need an extra hand the day of the wedding. Jove ended up contributing in a million different ways and in our view, our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly, or exceeded our expectations more (we say this knowing that Jove was probably handling every and any glitch flawlessly in the background with ease and charm without us ever worrying about a thing).

We both work in production and thought we had our DIY wedding on lock, but as the month approached, we quickly realized there were so many things about weddings we did not understand and things about the day that seemed huge and overwhelming. During the planning process Jove was invaluable with his feedback, encouraging us along the way. The day of the wedding, Jove ran every single element with complete perfection and ease. He also had unbelievable last minute creative input (we had spent hours making decor that would only be displayed during the reception and he had the brilliant idea to showcase the decor during the ceremony, adding tremendously to the overall feel of the ceremony).

The day was seamless, thanks to Jove. On top of that, we just really liked him from the start, which made us that much more excited to have him be a part of our wedding day. We also trusted him implicitly, both personally and artistically, which let us relax and focus on the people at the wedding instead of the nuts and bolts that go into it. Jove provides a service which is invaluable and necessary, but he brings himself to the job in an amazingly honest, fun and comfortable way. Thank you, Jove, for making it possible for us to enjoy what was truly the best day of our lives!

It is the day after my beautiful New Year's Eve wedding, and I can't recommend Jove Meyer strongly enough. When I first met Jove, the caterer we had intended to use had just backed out with only 6 weeks to go. Instead of worrying and fretting, he made me feel relaxed and didn't blame me for the predicament that I was in. And that is ultimately what I knew I needed for my big day. Someone who knows how to roll with the punches, operate under pressure…and someone who would support me and not bring any negative energy to the table.

When I ultimately found a new caterer, the captain had worked with Jove before and spoke very highly of him. She had seen him operate under pressure and complimented me on choosing him to be my day-of planner.

He looked adorable for the wedding in a very cute polka dot bow tie and managed the evening without it ever feeling stressful. The night went off without a hitch and I had so many compliments from my guests. I have a lot of respect for the job that he has to do--from managing an array of personalities to creating precise floor plans to organizing the vendors. Jove will help you and respond to your every question and concern--he is the perfect ally to have by your side so you can enjoy your special day.

Jove was fantastic to work with -- He listened to all of our needs, had many great ideas on the layout & flow of the venue and was he invaluable in helping us pull together all the different pieces for our ceremony and reception. He was great at keeping things moving along (without rushing things) and he made part of the planning fun along the way. He really loves what he does and it shows. The only thing that we didn't plan on was when one our elderly guests took ill and had to leave in a somewhat dramatic fashion, but Jove stepped right in to reassure our guests and restart the party. I'm very happy that we had him at the helm of our big day.

My daughter and her fiancee planned their entire wedding. Jove was hired as the day of/month of coordinator. He was included in all final meetings with the caterer, event space coordinator and other vendors. He also coordinated the wedding day. As mother of the bride I was able to relax and enjoy the entire wedding day knowing that Jove was there to handle any problems that might arise. He also coordinated the schedule for the wedding day and made sure that everything ran smoothly. I was very impressed with his professionalism and how well he interacted with the bride, her fiancee, family and the other vendors. I highly recommend him to anyone planning a wedding or other major event.

Jove did a great job in working with us in a brand new venue. Because we were only the second wedding at the Venue, we had to be flexible and make changes on the fly and helped make sure everything went as smooth as possible. His Day-of-coordination services is a bit of misnomer, as he really helped us get everything ready for a month and also helped with design, as well as with finding some last minute vendors. In fact, after the wedding, he even got us a full discount from a minor vendor who failed to perform adequately!

Picking a day of coordinator is hard because the vision is all in your head; DIY brides like me especially have a hard time because we've taken chances on projects and we need someone to make them work. Thank god for Jove and his assistant Marie - they made our wedding. I was referred to Jove by my fantastic make-up artist about six weeks before, and even though they were my "day of" coordinators, I had access and their invaluable input from day one. On my big day, Marie put every detail together perfectly and even handled my father - there is no other planner in New York City who could have done that. I've already referred Jove to my bride friends - you should hire him too!

We were lucky enough to be introduced to Jove for our Day of Coordination services for our wedding day. We met with him a few times before the big day, and every time we left those meetings, my mind felt calmed (And for a bride a couple of months before her wedding, that is worth every penny!).

Jove was able to give us experienced feedback, suggestions, support, confidence, the perfect amount of guidance, he was really there for us in so many ways I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. And that was just a month or two before our wedding! On our wedding day, he is the guy you want to have your back, to keep you on schedule (without feeling rushed). He set up all of our personalized DIY/details to perfection.

I can't emphasize it enough, if you're thinking about finding someone to help either plan your full wedding or if you're a do it yourself couple (which believe me, we did EVERYTHING ourselves), and looking for someone to help make it all happen day of- take it from me, working with Jove is one of reasons I could 100% enjoy every minute of our wedding. Knowing he was there provided us with such assurance, we could take it all in and be completely present with the love of our families and friends as the day sped by. Jove has such a wonderful personality, and is organized beyond perfection. You can tell from the minute you meet him, he loves making weddings and events come to life, and it shows in all that he does, he is simply wonderful.

We can't state enough how absolutely magical and effortless Jove made the entire event. We were worried we would be stressed out by details and vendors the day of, not on Jove's watch. He reached out to me early that morning to let me know he was on duty. He met all our vendors at the venue, helped come up with fantastic ideas on everything from menu to decorating and kept the day flowing so effortlessly that we never had to check on a single detail. From meeting us at the limo with 2 glasses of wine to literally packing up our stuff and placing it in the truck of the limo, he was an all star from start to finish. We hired Jove for day-of coordinating and flower services but he was soooo much more to us in the whole process. He made sure we understood all the pieces that went into our day and had planned ahead for them, and then executed everything SO perfectly the day of! He coordinated other vendors, distributed schedules and floor plans, and overall took so much stress off of us.

From getting the wedding party and family where they needed to be to walk down the aisle, to helping us rearrange the tables when we wanted to enlarge the dance floor, to packing up all our personal items at the end of the night, he was just amazing. AND he did ALL the decorating the day of! We left him with boxes of vases and ribbons and favors with very little instruction and we were THRILLED when we arrived later to see it! (and we're both designers with pretty particular taste and were so impressed with what he did)

Best of all he is SO sweet and fun and excited about what he does. We looked forward to chatting with him every time we met and we were so happy to have him with us at our wedding that day.

Working with Jove Meyer events was amazing! I can't recommend him highly enough. I had been helping my boss plan his wedding for months, but am not a professional wedding planner and it definitely got overwhelming. A few weeks before the wedding we brought in Jove and he was incredible! He is somehow both totally laid back and extremely on top of his game. He contacted vendors to make sure the bride and groom had everything they wanted, helped with the schedule and floor plans and thought of all the details that I hadn't. Super professional, focused, organized and fun to be around, Jove made the evening beautiful and seamless. We were absolutely blessed to have found Jove! He is undoubtedly professional, resourceful and personable. There is a very positive aura about Jove. He was able to relate to us and offer his advice and expertise. All of his recommendations were from an A list team. Our wedding day was amazing to say the least. It was not a traditional wedding day--we had 3 different transitions: the ceremony, the reception, and a boat tour in Manhattan. Every thing was on schedule from having our guests wait at the entrance for our grand arrival, to making sure all of our guests were on time for transportation. There was a hiccup in the transportation due to unforeseen circumstances, but Jove came up with creative solutions and took care of it by the end of the day.

By the end of our wedding day, my family and friends were approaching my husband and stating how impressed they were with how well everything was planned and executed! I would absolutely recommend Jove and his team to any bride who is looking for an amazing wedding planner and new friend!

I dont know how I could have pulled off my wedding without Jove. He provided valuable day-of coordination services for my wedding. Jove Meyer was the day-of coordinator for our wedding, and I cannot speak highly enough of him. He was extremely communicative throughout the whole process and was a real pleasure to work with. On the wedding day he made everything run smoothly and I didn't stress about a single thing. We gave him boxes of stuff to be arranged at the venue with minimal direction and he made it all look perfectly put together. His eye for detail and aesthetics is superb. We got married at a restaurant, and he worked with the staff to ensure that everything went according to plan. Jove is an amazing event planner. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and a blast thanks to him. He made all of our crazy ideas for our wedding a reality. We wanted something different and he brought it all together without a hitch.

During the planning process he thinks of everything. He provides information and suggestions when you need them. He is your advocate when dealing with vendors. When visiting venues he asked questions that I would have never thought of.

I had 6 months to plan the wedding of my dreams and I had a budget to work with and I work 60 hours a week. I needed someone that could help me, but not overpower my wedding dream. I found Jove!!! Every bit of the way he guided me through... Budget, organization, innovative ideas and he is so darling and charming! I live in California and he works from NYC and he made a trip out to go to help guide us through catering tastings, venue finalizing, chair/linen rentals and we shopped around for center pieces. When I hit a wall, he was so creative and encouraging giving me option after option until we found what I dreamed of! In the end he kept us in line with a realistic budget, we had great vendors, and every bit of the romance without the stress. He turned a marine museum into a charming,nautical, rustic wedding that awed my husband and I as well as all our family and friends! If you are looking for a planner, choose Jove!

We hired Jove to be our "Day Of" coordinator and he was absolutely amazing! He really went above an beyond and exceeded our expectations. From the moment I spoke with him on the phone I already felt as if much of my worries about the wedding had lessened and I knew it was a go. Jove's sensitivity, attention to detail, and reliable nature makes him an amazing coordinator. I could speak about aspects of the wedding to Jove that others wouldn't understand.

On the day of the wedding, I was extremely overwhelmed emotionally and had a room full of supplies that needed to be setup at the wedding venue. Jove had a list with instructions of what I wanted,and he took full responsibility. I had thought I might have to help set up on the day of the wedding, but when I had arrived at the venue, everything was set up perfectly as I had imagined. Jove is not only responsible, he has an ability to sense what his client is feeling, or if they are in need of something and would discreetly come over to see what it was. The fact that we could rely on someone for anything throughout the reception and knew that he would make it happen allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our day.

Jove is amazing! We chose to use his services just for day of HOWEVER..... If I had the chance to do over I would of had him involved in planning the entire wedding. We were a bit unprepared for the amount of work it was. He somehow put it all together making the day amazingly unique and beautiful. So thankful we found him. He was so creatative and professional. I recommend him to everyone!

Jove was a fantastic day-of coordinator for our wedding. He took the time to discuss every detail of our big day ahead of time, and our minds were at ease due to his professionalism, thoughtfulness, and creativity. We hired Jove to help with the month-of and day-of coordination for a wedding, and he was an incredible help. The last few weeks leading up to a wedding can be busy and stressful, but Jove helped us finalize a rental vendor, and confirmed details with all the other vendors we had contracted. Whenever we had question or were uncertain, Jove was able to provide answers and helpful guidance based on his experience and the best fit for our wedding.

My husband and I put a lot of thinking and planning into the personal touches of our wedding (from venue, to handmade centerpieces and beer brewed by a friend) and Jove did an incredible job ensuring that all came to life on the day of the event. Not only did Jove do a great job making sure our reception looked beautiful and staid true to our version, but he was thoughtful and attentive throughout the event. We never had to think about a thing or what to do next, Jove was there to make us comfortable and help transition guests starting from our first dance through dinner, toasts, and cake cutting. It definitely would not have been as smooth without him!

Jove is very on top of things - he's super organized, knows his stuff and has a timeline that he will not lose track of. He is very friendly but can be tough as well, with everyone, to get the show on the road. We were very happy with how our wedding went, and I'm sure he did a ton of behind the scenes work to make sure it went as smoothly as it did. I would definitely recommend him. He was our "day of" wedding planner and did a fantastic job.

Jove is the ideal choice for the unconventional bride, groom, or couple looking to do something personal and different on their special day. He does a great job of listening to his clients, collaborating with them on a design plan, and bringing their vision to life.

For our wedding a couple of weekends ago, I only have positive things to say about Jove's services. The evening ran so smoothly and most importantly, I actually had the time and mental capacity to enjoy and appreciate what we had worked on together for the past year. It was honestly better than anything I could have planned on my own. We (and the guests) were very pleased with the outcome!

Looking back on the year, my only grievances were that I wished Jove had been more proactive in his communication to us and more mindful of our budget. There were a handful of times when we felt he could have taken a stronger lead in keeping us on track of our planning/payment timelines and the few items we requested help with. In those instances, we couldn't help but feel like we were getting the short end of the stick in terms of "full-service" planning. Despite these issues, I would still recommend him to a friend.

Jove's strengths are definitely in his network, personality, and day-of coordination skills. He connected us to a fantastic venue and wonderful vendors in the early months of planning, was so open and receptive to ideas and feedback throughout the process, and truly shined when it came to behind-the-scenes operations on the big day. He's a true professional, a sweet guy, and I really enjoyed working with him.

Jove was fantastic to work with. He was incredibly flexible and thorough with our planning meeting, which made all of the difference. We went into our day feeling prepared and knowing he had everything covered, which was great.

On the day of itself, Jove really works his magic. He kept everything to a tight schedule when it needed to be, took care of each small detail, and made sure all of our guests were comfortable and taken care of. He also went out of his way to bring my wife and I snacks and drinks while we hid out in the bridal suite and at dinner. Would absolutely recommend Jove!

I continue to be amazed by the overly positive reviews that Jove receives on a number of these wedding websites. We hired Jove two months before our wedding for his month-of/day-of planning services in hopes of settling my mind at ease and reducing anxiety leading up to and on the day or my wedding. Instead he showed up late to meetings, made us feel like we were one of a million of his different, more important weddings, and had little attention span or ability to fully grasp our needs, or give professional expertise.
After each meeting or email I would look back to these reviews, and hope that it was just the busy season, and that he would come through on the day of. Sadly this was not the case. Jove failed to come through on many of the items he outlines on his website. He felt it was unnecessary to be a part of the bridal party preparations, leading to a chaotic and stressful start of the day without his direction. He failed to set up the ceremony site correctly, after two meetings with discussions and floor plans. He also underestimated how much support we needed to set up, so our family had to help and miss vital group photos. There was no organization on his part for the group photos, as promised. During the reception, he failed to keep to our timeline leading to vendors staying late. All the while, he was seen eating & taking photos for his own Instagram. And after complaining that the breakdown would take too long on his own, he was seen frantically boxing everything up in front of guests before the evening was finished and ended up misplacing key pieces that we told him needed to be returned, costing us money.
The reason he gets such outstanding reviews? Maybe they are fake, or maybe he gets all negative reviews taken down. I know my brother-in-law's was. All know is that I want people to hear how Jove really performs. When it comes to being a professional, giving and providing expert advice and help, he simply falls short.
