There were line dances, a dance off and then a sing off. I’m glad to say, hands down our wedding was the best party we’ve ever thrown. Special thanks to our amazing DJ, DJ Yad. He was thorough with the music selection, played our requested songs, and followed our timeline seamlessly. The dance floor was packed the entire night. As the kids say, it was lit!

Jonny and his team blew our highest expectations out of the water. He made us feel so special on our wedding day. One of our favorite memories of the whole night was him pumping up the crowd before our big “reveal” at the reception. It was so much fun, we want to relive that moment over and over again. I loved working with Jonny Black Productions and DJ Chosen was excellent! They are professional and experienced. We had 3 meetings with them before the wedding and they made everything so easy for us. I felt comfortable trusting the life of our party with them and they delivered! We hired Jonny Black productions for our wedding at the Gallery and they did an amazing job! Jonny is very responsive and willing to answer all questions you have along the way. Further, they have an appointment with you to decide all the songs (which you can really pick anything even from YouTube and they will make it work) and help you to make any of the decisions you are not sure on and make sure to incorporate all of the important things you want to do during the wedding! We had DJ Yad at our wedding and Jonny also came to help and support! They really made the party so fun and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. DJ Jonny Black and his team are a must have at your wedding or special event! They were the most professional, talented, high quality DJ group in Houston. We originally had our wedding scheduled for 4/19/20 but due to COVID we were forced to reschedule to 9/27/20. Jonny was ready to work with us stress-free to make sure we were all good for the new date. Communication is extremely important when planning a wedding and Jonny and his team kept us informed and aware of what to expect via video chats, email, and phone right down to the deadline of a week before. All of their quality forms kept the event planning organized. Jonny Black Productions were quick to responding to questions. All responses were within 5 minutes.

He made sure to incorporate all the requests and songs we asked for and definitely delivered an amazing ceremony and reception! There was so much energy out on the dance floor. DJ Jonny Black does a great job in emceeing throughout the night, keeping our guests entertained, laughing, and informed of what's next. He knows what songs to play at the right time and makes sound judgment calls by reading how the crowd is feeling. Even the hardest critics to please at our wedding were extremely impressed by Jonny's performance that they even asked him for his business card! Jonny's team were highly talked about days after the wedding.

Javier also did an excellent job working the Mirror Photo Booth, very professional, friendly, and helpful in making sure we got all of the photos from the night and that the guests went home with their photos via phone or printout. All of the photos were sent within a week of the wedding. The Mirror Photo Booth is a must have at your special event, crystal clear resolution, updated high quality machine with tons of customization for your event.

Johnny Black productions is amazing! We were a COVID-19 wedding and they offered to help us however they could along the way. We went with DJ Chosen and our guests were raving about him the next day! With planning a wedding during COVID-19 we were focused on other things and never provided a list of songs to play during the reception, we just asked him to play a good mix....and he did just that! He covered multiple genres and decades that made everyone happy. He was great at reading the crowd. We could not imagine using anyone else.

Oh my gosh!!! Jonny Black Productions was the best DJ we could have ever dreamt up for our wedding this past Friday on August 28th!! We had a 30 day follow up call to go over the day of timeline and music. They were so organized and thought of details and questions we never would have. The 20 uplights that we had also looked SOO good!


We had DJ Chosen and Jonny come out for our big day and we are so lucky and grateful to have had them there because they truly made our wedding as fun and memorable as it was!! We got married during Covid but people were dancing like crazy while still being safe and some people of course had masks on, and still danced the night away! We had a blast at our wedding and had so many of our guests approach us about our DJ to say how amazing and talented they were!!
