There were line dances, a dance off and then a sing off. I’m glad to say, hands down our wedding was the best party we’ve ever thrown. Special thanks to our amazing DJ, DJ Yad. He was thorough with the music selection, played our requested songs, and followed our timeline seamlessly. The dance floor was packed the entire night. As the kids say, it was lit!

Jonny and his team blew our highest expectations out of the water. He made us feel so special on our wedding day. One of our favorite memories of the whole night was him pumping up the crowd before our big “reveal” at the reception. It was so much fun, we want to relive that moment over and over again. He was very intentional with us throughout the whole process and was an amazing communicator. He answered us promptly and without hesitation. Our wedding guests could not stop raving about how much fun the dance party was with continuous songs to make us sing and dance. The photo booth was also a hit and we had so much fun looking at our scrapbook when we got back. We hired Jonny Black productions for our wedding at the Gallery and they did an amazing job! Jonny is very responsive and willing to answer all questions you have along the way. Further, they have an appointment with you to decide all the songs (which you can really pick anything even from YouTube and they will make it work) and help you to make any of the decisions you are not sure on and make sure to incorporate all of the important things you want to do during the wedding! We had DJ Yad at our wedding and Jonny also came to help and support! They really made the party so fun and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. #1 DJ in Houston!
DJ Jonny Black and his team are a must have at your wedding or special event! They were the most professional, talented, high quality DJ group in Houston. We originally had our wedding scheduled for 4/19/20 but due to COVID we were forced to reschedule to 9/27/20. Jonny was ready to work with us stress-free to make sure we were all good for the new date. Communication is extremely important when planning a wedding and Jonny and his team kept us informed and aware of what to expect via video chats, email, and phone right down to the deadline of a week before. All of their quality forms kept the event planning organized. Jonny Black Productions were quick to responding to questions. All responses were within 5 minutes.
He made sure to incorporate all the requests and songs we asked for and definitely delivered an amazing ceremony and reception! There was so much energy out on the dance floor. DJ Jonny Black does a great job in emceeing throughout the night, keeping our guests entertained, laughing, and informed of what's next. He knows what songs to play at the right time and makes sound judgment calls by reading how the crowd is feeling. Even the hardest critics to please at our wedding were extremely impressed by Jonny's performance that they even asked him for his business card! Jonny's team were highly talked about days after the wedding.
Javier also did an excellent job working the Mirror Photo Booth, very professional, friendly, and helpful in making sure we got all of the photos from the night and that the guests went home with their photos via phone or printout. All of the photos were sent within a week of the wedding. The Mirror Photo Booth is a must have at your special event, crystal clear resolution, updated high quality machine with tons of customization for your event.
I had a slogan for Jonny Black since I hired him.. "DJ JONNY BLACK WE THE BEST!!" (said in DJ Khaled's voice) #1 DJ in Houston, no questions asked. Johnny Black productions is amazing! We were a COVID-19 wedding and they offered to help us however they could along the way. We went with DJ Chosen and our guests were raving about him the next day! With planning a wedding during COVID-19 we were focused on other things and never provided a list of songs to play during the reception, we just asked him to play a good mix....and he did just that! He covered multiple genres and decades that made everyone happy. He was great at reading the crowd. We could not imagine using anyone else.

The most fun, professional, and awesome DJ in town!!
Oh my gosh!!! Jonny Black Productions was the best DJ we could have ever dreamt up for our wedding this past Friday on August 28th!! We had a 30 day follow up call to go over the day of timeline and music. They were so organized and thought of details and questions we never would have. The 20 uplights that we had also looked SOO good!
We had DJ Chosen and Jonny come out for our big day and we are so lucky and grateful to have had them there because they truly made our wedding as fun and memorable as it was!! We got married during Covid but people were dancing like crazy while still being safe and some people of course had masks on, and still danced the night away! We had a blast at our wedding and had so many of our guests approach us about our DJ to say how amazing and talented they were!! We would 10/10 recommend Jonny Black Productions for your big wedding day or any upcoming event!! They are so so good and easy to work with, I wish we could have them DJ for us at all of our events beyond our wedding that’s how awesome they are!!

I went to a wedding in March 2019 and had a BLAST because the DJ was so good. I knew when I got engaged in June 2019 that I had to have that DJ. I reached out to Jonny Black Productions soon after we got engaged, and got the process started. Jonny was very communicative, and helpful and made the decision so easy! 30 days from the wedding we had discussions about the logistics of the evening and the songs/vibes we were looking for. It was executed perfectly the day of! DJ Chosen was energetic, fun, professional, and made sure all of our requests were met. We also got 20 SMART uplights and they really set the vibe for the room. Jonny Black productions was SO easy to work with! We had an excellent experience from beginning to end. DJ CHOSEN...I am writing in caps on purpose. PERFECTION and exudes COOLNESS. I am a stickler with my music and DJ Chosen handled that part with ease. Let me tell you what you can not pay for but you get with DJ Chosen. You get an intelligent suave DJ that can be authoritative and help with controlling your crowd without being overly demanding or a jerk. BUT the important part is he kept the dance floor full and happy. I would have not been happier with any other DJ. My budget did not let me hire a live band so going the DJ route was iffy for me originally however I do not regret that I had DJ Chosen command my wedding celebration. He knows how to work the crowd. Johnny Black production is very lucky to have this guy! As for the aspect of selecting my DJ, the Jonny Black production team was on point when I wanting uplighting for my wedding. Awesome DJ and the mirror photobooth had a line all night!
We used Jonny Black Productions for our wedding on October 5th. We used their DJ (s/o Danny B!!) for the ceremony and reception. JB Productions and our DJ,Danny, did an awesome job making sure we were all on the same page before our wedding day. Danny had a great selection of music during our cocktail hour and dinner and kept the dance floor packed all night. I also recommend getting the uplights and mirror photobooth. The uplighting provided the perfect atmosphere during dinner and dancing, it was such a great touch. All of our guests loved the mirror photobooth! It is a unique alternative to traditional photobooths you typically see at weddings. I highly recommend using JB Producitons for your wedding! They were professional, friendly, and always quick to respond to any of our questions!

Jonny Black with Jonny Black Productions is hands down the BEST DJ IN TOWN!!!!!! Sound quality, top of the line equipment, and good music were all things extremely important to my husband when we began our search for our DJ. When we first met with Jonny we had an instant connection with him and knew we had to have him for our big day – best decision we made! Jonny and the entire team at Jonny Black Productions all have amazing customer service, excellent communication, were extremely accommodating, and not to mention just straight up talented. We booked Jonny a year out from our wedding date and over the entire year of our wedding planning – Jonny and his team kept in constant communication with us. We only provided Jonny with about 15 songs that were “must have songs” and put all our trust in him to work his magic and keep our wedding guests on the dance floor and he did just that – we ended up extending our wedding an hour longer than planned because he kept the dance floor packed. DJ Anderson & Javier
DJ Anderson was extremely kind and professional through out our wedding day. Although our officiants mic was going in and out throughout our ceremony (unsure if it had to do with venues speakers or connection/setup issue), but he played all of our chosen songs for our ceremony. The reception went absolutely great, although our first dance song sounded a bit staticky while being played. Our families are very boring, and when DJ Anderson saw they weren’t dancing he’d say things on the mic to get them out to dance. We’re so grateful for that! Javier was so kind and professional! Dance Floor Full Entire Night
If you're looking for a great DJ that will keep the dance floor full all night, look no further than DJ Anderson! I had initially wanted a band for my wedding day, but due to a mix of cultures I felt that a DJ would be best. Anderson did not disappoint! He did an incredible job of keeping the crowd hyped up and entertained with music in both English and Spanish. Danced all night long.........
The whole team at Jonny B. Productions is on a different level. They are very personable, easy to talk to, and definitely very experienced. They were in constant communication with us. They called us in for a meeting were they were extremely helpful with our vision of how we wanted our wedding to go. They even provided suggestions as to how to arrange certain things in order for the night to flow. This was much appreciated as our night was definitely memorable, our dance floor was never empty and this is all due to DJ Anderson understanding the crowd.
Once again thank you Jonny, DJ Anderson, and Javier for giving us a night that we will never forget.

Our Rockstar DJ was DJ Anderson and we cannot thank him & the team at Jonny Black Productions enough for helping us have the wedding of our dreams. The team was always responsive to our requests and respectful of our time during meetings (while also keeping them fun, this is a party after all!). We provided a few examples of music we enjoy and DJ Anderson made us very happy with the playlist! We had a wedding with English and Spanish speakers, and all were able to follow what was going on through the night thanks to our great MC. We had a wonderful time and it couldn't have happened without the music and those involved. We would strongly recommend Jonny Black Productions and DJ Anderson for your wedding or any event that you want to be a fun, memorable experience. We are also grateful that DJ Anderson did such a wonderful job capturing our private last dance. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have this intimate moment captured that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

We loved our experience with Jonny Black Productions from the initial meeting to the party! They were so professional and accommodating! DJ Kenny did a great job mixing Spanish, pop, and Cajun music to get everyone on the dance floor! People are still talking about how much fun it was! Also, they were right. The mirror photo booth was a HUGE hit! I would do it all over again the same way!

Johnny Black got everyone dancing at our wedding!!!
We hired Johnny to DJ our wedding and he did an amazing job. Him and his team were extremely prompt with their responses to my questions and emails and they made the entire planning process very easy. Although Johnny’s fee was a bit more expensive than the others on his team, we knew we wanted to book Johnny as soon as we met with him. He was personable and fun and we could tell he would do a great job engaging the guests, making sure the night flowed well, and getting everyone up and dancing. And he absolutely did! He also was very accommodating with a few special “cultural” song and dance requests we had and he fit those into the playlist very well. Definitely recommend him for any wedding.

Jonny Black was the DJ for our wedding last month and the entire experience from start to finish was incredible. Jonny made us feel like family from the first time we met and really took the time to get to know us. We wanted people to dance at our wedding and Jonny really delivered with music. We had guest come up to us saying their legs were exhausted but the music was too good to not dance. The party flowed perfectly, the mirror photo booth was awesome, the music was incredible and you will not regret booking with Jonny Black. Love Anna & Pat!

Older couple wedding - very pleased with JB Productions
Jason was our DJ and Javier and Jason were easy to communicate with in the planning. The music during the wedding was right on cue. We had an older crowd and for the reception we had a mix of country and pop songs. Javier let us help design the monogram to be portrayed on the wall, which was fun. Jason did a great job at the reception!

Hi Anderson and Jonny,
Laz and I would like to express how thankful we are for making our wedding a fairytale come true. Laz is very particular about music and people in general. When we started planning our wedding I shared a few DJ names and he said no within five minutes. He said he already had someone in mind. When he reached out to you guys, Jonny you were working an event but called us back and stayed on the phone with us until midnight. You see this is the type of service Laz and I love. Jonny you didn’t have to stay on the phone that late with us but you did because you truly live for the motto of working hard and providing good service. That day we signed our contract to have you guys DJ our event and it was the best decision ever!
A few months later with met with Anderson to go over timeline and details. During the entire meeting Anderson and Javi were super helpful and assisted us with finalize our songs and timeline. To be honest when we meet that day Laz and I were feeling the normal stress that comes with planning a wedding, but that feeling quickly faded during that meeting and we left your office feeling excited for our big day!
Our wedding was perfect! All we wanted to do was dance all night long and we did!! Anderson helped us incorporate traditional songs and made it an amazing party. Our guest still keep telling us how much fun they had at the wedding, specially on the dance floor!!! To sum it up, by the end of the party our guest were tossing Laz and I up in the air on the dance floor.
Anderson and Jonny thank you for making us feel like family. Thank you for making our wedding a one of a kind event! If there is anything we can do for you guys do not hesitate to reach out!!

From our first meeting to the day of our wedding - Jonny Black was one of my favorite vendors. Every member of their team was so helpful and accommodating as we went through the booking process and so so quick to get answers for us. They made sure to get all of our must play songs and a good understanding of the kind of vibes we wanted in multiple prewedding meetings. I love that they took the time to really get to know us and our style. We used the DJ and mirror photo booth services! The mirror is a perfect way to have a photo booth while keeping your space classy and pretty!
Day of, our DJ Jason was all about getting our party going, keeping people engaged and did such a great job managing requests. He was so great with our guests and families. They were also so helpful in working with our guest performer - Paul Wall! made sure he had the equipment he needed and got him set up. From our initial meeting Jonny Black Productions has been awesome! My husband and I were each working 2 jobs to prepare for the wedding and they were very flexible with our schedules, making it easy to meet with them. From the first sit down they were knowledgeable, professional and fun- everything we were looking for in our DJ! We booked them for our DJ, up-lighting and "the mirror" right away. They offered easy payment plans and followed up with us on a regular basis. We could not have been more pleased with the service the provided! Our guests absolutely LOVED the mirror and we took a keepsake with us on our honeymoon, full of photos and sweet words from our family and friends! We had an AMAZING wedding & a lot was attributed to the vibes set by DJ Anderson! Everything from his mc skills to his choice & set list of song was on point. When I first spoke with Jonny, I gave him my one objective. We wanted a good party. My guests, wife, and I had a great time. They delivered. 100% satisfied customer.
DJ Chosen was perfect. He read the crowd perfectly. DJ Chosen hit the nail in the head with every song selection. People were on the dance floor the entire time. He was just so attentive to everything, the schedule, transitions to different parts of the reception. etc. checking PERFECT master of ceremony.
Seeing as this is the first and only time I would probably ever hire a DJ, it was tough making a decision. Reading reviews, figuring out which reviews to trust.. etc. But luckily, at the end of the day, the correct call was made to go with Jonny Black Productions. I have been to too many weddings where people were just sitting down and not dancing. That was a huge fear… But DJ Chosen’s performance exceeded expectations.

This is by far the best DJ around! I have been to several weddings where the DJ just didn’t keep the dancing going, but that is not the case here! We found them because one of our friends used them, we had so much fun so we knew we had to have them for our wedding! Jason kept the crowd going the whole night! We would definitely recommend them!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Jonny Black’s team was professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Our DJ (DJ Chosen) was flexible throughout the entire night and made memories that everyone will have for a life time. I cannot wait to get our video back to see everyone having the time of their lives on the dance floor thanks to the great music selection! I would recommend to everyone wanting to have a great time.

Y’all did an amazing job! Kenny was our Dj for our wedding night he did a Phenomenal job and kept the dance floor packed all night! Everything we asked to be played and more was so great at our wedding! Our New York/ Houston wedding was a hit, Thanks to Kenny! Jonny Black and his team were exceptional throughout our entire wedding process. Starting with our initial consultation with Jonny and our pre-wedding walkthrough with Javier, they walked us through every step of the way and made sure that every detail was covered and that we were comfortable and taken care of. On the day of the wedding, DJ Jason Garcia provided the music for the ceremony, MC’d the reception, and kept the dance floor packed the entire night! He incorporated the songs that we chose but was also able to read the crowd perfectly and didn’t miss a beat! These guys are amazing at what they do and exhibit the utmost professionalism. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision!

So my daughter turned 15 years old this year. In our culture this age is sort of a big deal. My daughters personality is simple but elegant. So with that, my wife and I decided to go all out! The best venue in our area, best catering, and best bartenders. Honest to say, that none of these vendors would be the best with out the best of the best when it comes to entertainment! JBP and especially Dj Jason Garcia are the best in the business. I believe that you should always get what you pay for. In this case, our family can not put a price on the awsome memories that Dj Jason Garcia helped create! His professional yet energetic demeanor had the party going non stop. Our only regret is that we were not able to book the venu longer to keep the party going. How ever Jason did help us every step of the way through personal music selections, lighting and even a custom monogram! He even met with me and my wife and daughter and set up a time line of events throughout the party. He was polite with our guests on music requests. He made sure everything ran smoothly and I don’t even think he broke a sweat! All of his equipment was top notch too. He is definitely not one of those weekend budget DJs! JBP definitely sends out the best of everything when it comes to entertainment. We even decided to add an extra hour to our original plan. I have their number set in my phone in case any of our friends or family ask for this type of service. Thank you so much to JBP and Thanks again to Jason Garcia!

DJ Kenny with JOhnny Black Productions was an awesome DJ. Dancing the night away was a priority of mine for the wedding and I was nervous about people not dancing. People had such an awesome time dancing to the music it was hard to get people off the dance floor when it was time to go! Haha! Nobody wanted to leave!!! The party was such a success and Johnny Black Productions was easy to work with and so kind! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!

If you want your event to be the best you need to hire the best and that is Johnny Black Productions! We just wrapped up our third prom with JBP and the compliments are still rolling in from students and teachers alike! JBP and every one of his staff members are professional from beginning to end and work hard to accommodate you and your vision. They offer top notch entertainment for the whole event. The dance floor is the only place to be with JBP!!!! You should not consider any other Dj for your event. You will not be disappointed.

They knew the right music to play to keep our guests dancing and all of our guests as well as my husband and I had such a great time!
