We used Luna for our bartending service and it was a pleasure to work with them! They helped us source Finger Lakes Wines (much to the delight of the bride's mom.) They were response, attentive and cost effective! They also served a delicious side of rice balls that people raved about! The drinks were delicious and well mixed and the bartenders themselves were charming and professional!

We had to find a caterer for our son's wedding on the 4th of July weekend after two other caterers canceled on us. I contacted Catering by Luna and began working with Kelly Starr. She was a delight to work with as we decided to go with their Foodtruck service. She made sure we had everything we needed to make the wedding a success. We held the event at The Museum of the Earth. The staff were extremely pleasant to work with. They took care of every detail. The food was amazing, we choose their Pan Asain menu which offered selections for everyone. Everyone raved about how well the food service was done. Everything tasted phenomenal. You would have not expected such elegant presentation from a Foodtruck. Another vendor at the event was not taking care of service and had other issues. The Luna team stepped up and made sure the guests were taken care of without us even having to ask. I have worked with many catering services and none compare to the Luna team. Exceptional in every way.

Originally, we were holding our Friday night welcome party at Ithaca Yacht Club. But due to COVID issues at our original location, with just a few weeks before our event, we had to change our plans to hold our full wedding at Ithaca Yacht Club.

That required so many new components of our wedding (an entirely different plan for our ceremony and reception, last minute rentals, a new menu, etc.). Kelly was incredibly organized and was our support system throughout all of these changes. She was on top of everything while also being very warm, sincere, and assuring - exactly what we needed!

When Covid-19 canceled our original wedding, we had to downsize to an intimate wedding. I instantly reached out to Luna Catering because the food is always amazing and I figured it would be suitable for the casual event! I instantly loved that they have both a casual and formal catering menu and I was very satisfied by their quick communication and flexibility.

Everything was done via email and the food drop off was contactless which was comforting during this crazy time.

I highly recommend Luna for both your events and just for your everyday eating!!!

We worked with Racquel at Catering by Luna for our semi-casual wedding rehearsal dinner in August. After our previous vendor fell through just a few weeks away from the date, Catering By Luna was able to quickly find us an outdoor venue and provide great suggestions for the menu. The food was delicious - people said they especially liked the specialty mac and cheese and the fried avocado tacos. Racquel was calm and efficient, and responds promptly to email, which was exactly what we needed in a stressful time. She made the planning process so smooth that in retrospect it was a blessing that the original plan fell through. Couldn't be happier with our choice of Catering by Luna for our rehearsal dinner!

Julianna Hopkins was my Wedding Coordinator for our 9/21/2019 wedding on Seneca Lake. We had a barn and a tent set up, so there was a lot to do and many places to be! She was not working with Luna at the time, but I cannot stress enough how AMAZING she is to work with. Julianna is the perfect person to work with brides because she is extremely responsive, provides a calming sense, offers guidance/direction, and is very organized and detail oriented. She even came to the venue 2 times to do a walk through with me & talk about day of planning. Working with her was one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, she managed all of her staff perfectly and the entire day was smooth and honestly perfect. We could not have asked for a better coordinator. Do not think twice-grab Julianna before she gets booked for your special day-she will help make your vision come to life! Thank you for everything you did for us, Julianna! My family still talks about how excellent you and your team were on 9/21/2019!

We can’t say enough good things about Racquel and IYC! They saved our wedding! 76 days before our wedding we contacted Raquel at Ithaca Yacht club in a panic when our other venue had to cancel on us.
Racquel stepped up and delivered our vision, which involved a lot of coordination with rental companies and video chatting with the brides as we live in a different state! It was an October wedding and we wanted a semi-outdoor wedding, so we rented a heated tent that could accommodate our 130 person wedding and enjoy the gorgeous view they have from their property! They were extremely flexible and worked with us to deliver great food options. They accommodated our large band, food swaps, special alcohol requests and a smores bar in their fire pit!
Racquel was responsive and the portal they use made it easy to keep track of the items we had requested and the costs.
The IYC staff was friendly and their open bar wasn’t stingy on their pours! (we got multiple guests who commented on how great this was)

My husband and I hosted our wedding July of 2018 at IYC and we were thrilled with the results!

Originally, we were going to do a formal plated dinner, but instead went with buffet stations with a variety of options since we were going for a more casual lakeside wedding feel. The food was unique and fresh and caters to many dietary restrictions, so even my mother, who suffers from severe food allergies, commented that she was able to eat everything and it was the first wedding that she had attended where this was the case. One of our friends who attended still comments on how this was the best food he has ever had at a wedding!

My brother, who was visiting with his family from Washington State, commented "now, this will be the PERFECT wedding if there is a s'mores station" and then realized there was one!

Our guests really enjoyed themselves, and so did WE!

One issue that arose: Apparently, the vendor shipped the wrong tent and then left before it was installed, and Luna's managed to finish the job--no sweat-- without me realizing there was ever a problem.

They took care of everything. Presented fun and flexible ideas that were tasteful and within our budget. Everyone had fun. What more could we ask for?

Racquel and the Luna team are some of the best people I've ever worked with in my life and my career is in restaurants. I would recommend them to ANYONE, but specifically anyone who appreciates unique foods or has dietary restrictions. We had GLUTEN FREE arancini and my wife has never been so happy. Please tell your friends and family this is the place to go for amazing foods of any kind and the staff once again is hands down the best I've ever seen. GO LUNA!!
