Allison was the perfect choice for our engagement and wedding photographer. She has a warmth and kindness that made two somewhat camera-shy folks feel at ease being the center of attention for long periods of time. Our engagement shoot was our first time meeting her and we immediately knew we’d chosen the right person to document our wedding day. Her work is beautiful, emotional, and attentive, centering on moments more than poses. We really feel like her photos capture special details about her subjects and give you a sense of who they are. That’s exactly what we wanted to remember from our big day.

She’s also extremely professional and punctual. Every conversation about logistics and details reassured us that everything would go smoothly for the day of our wedding. She did a superb job being seemingly multiple places at once during the event without disrupting any of the candid moments she captured. She did a phenomenal job balancing our ideas with her expertise, suggestions, and best practices.

We even had a timing hiccup the day-of that had us moving to a different location before we expected, and she flawlessly adjusted - making the best of every moment and reassuring us that any changes she made would still give us exactly what we wanted in the end. It helped me, the bride, feel so at ease and not sweat the small stuff :) We’ve received our gallery and the photos are GORGEOUS - and so full of love and joy.

I truly can't say enough good things about Allison and her work. We booked her to photograph our June 2020 wedding at the Ithaca Farmers Market, which was postponed to September, and then changed to a small wedding with a larger party planned for 2021. Throughout the changing plans and uncertainty, Allison was wonderful to work with. During a time of many stressful conversations about changing dates, contracts, and COVID safety, my conversations with Allison were exactly the opposite. After every email or phone call conversation with her, I left with a feeling of gratitude and that everything would truly work out. She was generous and beyond accommodating with the uncertain circumstances and very clear and professional in communicating, frequently answering questions that I would have never thought to ask.

And, of course, her work is amazing! She captured our day so perfectly and beautifully. As a couple who feels a little awkward taking photos, I was happy to find that our time taking couple portraits was some of my favorite of the day because it gave me a chance to just be with my new husband completely naturally, and that is exactly what Allison captured. Between many candid and natural photos and some beautiful posed ones, all of them feel exactly like us.
