Couples can accommodate up to 200 guests at this coastal venue. For a grand affair, the Pacific Ballroom and Courtyard is perfect. It features elegant decor, floor-to-ceiling windows, and breathtaking ocean views. Here, vows can be exchanged at the romantic adjoining courtyard. For a more intimate gathering, the Ocean Terrace and Ballroom are ideal. These areas can accommodate up to 120 guests, and they feature beautiful views of Monterey Bay. While taking photos, guests can enjoy the boardwalk and pier, which extends out over the bay.

Exceeded expectations
A Perfect Venue for a Seaside Wedding
The catering manager, Hayle Leontieff, was exceptional. She was extremely knowledgeable about the venue and always responsive to our questions. She made it easy to complete our final BEO and determine the best way to utilize our money. We were never worried about how our vision would be executed. She was instrumental in helping our wedding planner make our dream come to life. We couldn't think of a more perfect venue for us to have our wedding.
We also can't emphasize enough how beautiful the location is. The layout of the IC was perfect for us personally since we could have the ceremony and reception in the same place! It was effortless. We purchased a wedding package that included the honeymoon suite for the night of the wedding. It came with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Very thoughtful and a great way to end our night.
All of our guests raved about what a beautiful venue it was and what a great night they had. We can thank the hotel itself and the staff for that. It's hard to beat a beautiful venue by the ocean. Guests had the option of sitting down at tables in the reception ballroom, mingle in the pre-function area by the bar outside of the ballroom, or go right outside to the patio where the ceremony was held and enjoy the scenery/weather. Having that sort of versatility for our guests was great, and it's important to know that not all venues have it.
Considering the IC provided all of these options to make our guests happy really shows how great a venue it is. You can expect getting your "bang for your buck" as some like to say. Money well spent. We can't wait to see our pictures to relive our perfect day. Thank you to the IC for everything!!

We have had the good fortune of being an in-house music provider at the Intercontinental for many years now and can say that they provide a top-notch, boutique-feel wedding day experience every time. The on-site hotel lodging is excellent, the on-site ocean-front restaurant is as well and the surrounding area is really fun for your guests to enjoy as well. Great choice!
