As I began researching "local" bands, that may work for what we were looking for, I stumbled upon Honey Train...and I am SO HAPPY I did! Our wedding was just shy of 2 months ago (3/18/2023), and we still have family and friends mentioning "how awesome the band was," and how much fun they had at our wedding because of Honey Train.
For our big day, we went with the 7 piece band, and are so thankful we did...the energy was unbelievable. One of my bridesmaids came up to be during the night and said, "this is the first wedding I have ever been too where there were people dancing BEFORE dinner service!" Another one of our guests thanked us and told us this was the first time in 20 years that she was able to get her husband on the dance floor with her! I also just ran into a friend this week and she said, "I feel like a snob, but I don't think I will ever really enjoy myself at a wedding where there ISN'T a live band...and your band (Honey Train) set the bar so high!"
From day one of the planning process, Jason & Liv + the whole Honey Train crew, took the stress of the wedding music out of the picture. They are experienced professionals who know the wedding industry and made everything on the day of go so smoothly. We also are extremely grateful for Alicia, lead female vocalist and MC, who was as patient but also efficient with organizing our large bridal party for introductions, toasts, etc.
We truly cannot thank Honey Train enough for being such an important part of our wedding day, and for making the celebration one that we will never forget!

Honey Train is an incredible band, funky and smooth, hard-working and professional. It is incredible how the feeling in the air is changed with live music - they had everyone in the reception hall dancing and laughing and connecting in a really special way. All the way down the line Honey Train comprises seriously talented musicians. The dance floor was packed all night long and at the end no one wanted them to stop. I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and they are among the most fun, polished, and talented bands I’ve ever seen. Definitely hire them if you want everyone to have a blast at your reception.
Having a live band at your wedding elevates the experience beyond simply dance music to true entertainment. A good band knows how to read the crowd and interacts with them, drawing your guests fully into the experience. Among the best that I have had the pleasure to work with over the past 8 years in Honey Train. They bring a great sound, excellent emcee direction, and are truly entertaining to watch. Honey Train is always on my very short list of recommended party bands, and I would highly encourage any couple looking for more than just music to check them out. You won't be disappointed!
