Michael is amazing! He was our first vendor hire and he delivered at every step of the way; Michael had shot three family weddings, so we were familiar with his work and everyone had sung his praises. However, I was completely blown away by the incredibly high quality of his work and his professionalism when I had the opportunity to work with him directly. His demeanor is calm and composed even when there is chaos surrounding him. His energy helped to make the frantic hours leading up to our wedding calm and enjoyable. Michael managed to get incredibly beautiful and personal shots without getting in the way or drawing attention to himself. Most importantly, he was incredibly receptive to our personal styles, taking care to get photos of some of the less traditional moments throughout the day (spontaneous arm wrestling at the reception, photos with a giant inflatable unicorn at sunset). He captures the important moments beautifully and is delightful to work with. You will not regret hiring him!

My husband and I loved working with Michael for our July wedding, for many reasons. Leading up to the wedding Michael is a great communicator - quick to respond to emails, happy to meet in person to go over any and all questions/concerns, and he asks the right questions ahead of time so that the big day runs as smooth as possible. His demeanor is calm and positive - who wouldn't want to be surrounded by that on their wedding day?! I think he is genuinely excited for every wedding he photographs, and this shows in the quality of the images. We received our photos only 2 weeks after the wedding (this being in the height of wedding season too!) and not only are there so many images, but so many stunning images! Michael has a great artistic eye, great attention to detail and honestly is so easy-going and nice that we just loved working with him. Also of note is that he is one of those invisible photographers - you get all the great shots of your big day without someone being pushy or in your face. Highly recommend!

Choosing a wedding photographer can be stressful because this is the person charged with capturing one of your most important life moments. Working with Michael Brook was a breeze! From the moment we sat down and talked to him, we immediately felt like old friends. He can make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera and he has a knack for capturing the sweetest, candid moments. Michael also made sure to learn who the most important people in our wedding were so that he could get as many pictures of them as possible. On the day of the wedding, he was punctual, energetic, and professional. He brought an assistant that was just as wonderful and together they captured beautiful photographs that we will forever cherish.

The day of, Michael did a fantastic job capturing both candid and posed photos that still make me smile whenever I look at them. I could not recommend Michael as a wedding photographer enough!!

Michael Brook was wonderful. A great person to start, he was incredibly receptive to all of our ideas. We had a more casual timed event and Michael and his second photographer really captured that vibe. Some of his still shots still have our family talking and his timeliness, professionalism, and artistry really shined on our wedding day. Totally recommended for a wedding, for family events and more. We are considering him and recommending him for some of our family events upcoming.

Michael was a true professional, from the first visit to the big day. He and his assistant made us feel important, and made sure to capture all the important shots as they happened. When we were able to look back over the gallery just a few days after the wedding, we were truly amazed at the amount of beautiful shots that he was able to capture without feeling like he was even there. He was very accommodating to not only us, but our guests wishes as well. I would definitely suggest Michael for any of your photography needs

Michael was a dream to work with! He was professional at all times and very flexible with a hectic wedding day. He collaborated seamlessly with a quirky videographer we also hired. He was on time and got beautiful shots. His second photographer did a great job as well and as a team photographed the ceremony from different angles. We had the pictures in week!

Before working with Michael, I found myself somewhat skeptical of his 85+ perfect reviews. Could that be real?!? Now that he's shot my wedding, there is no doubt that he deserves that perfect rating and more. Michael was incredible to work with from day 1. He communicated promptly and easily and asked all the right questions about our vision for the day. He expressed genuine excitement and had immediate ideas about how he could fit in and enhance the experience. Leading up to the wedding, I never once felt like I had to worry about whether I was a priority to him and whether he would come through (and that most definitely is NOT a given. I should mention that he made me feel this taken care of even though I did NOT book him for an entire day and had a smaller wedding that only required a few hours.)

The day of, he was so easy-going and professional. He somehow made everyone feel at ease, remembering family members' names and juggling all personalities and quirks. I felt incredibly hectic and stressed the entire day and somehow Michael made that melt away as soon as he showed up. He was prompt, organized, thoughtful, quick on his feet, and also kind and funny to be around. If that all wasn't enough, he also captured gorgeous photographs (way cooler than I could have imagined, honestly) and had them back to me quickly. I really can't say enough about this experience. He blew us away. He was the shining light of my wedding and by far the best "vendor" decision I made that day.

I just had my wedding in Boston a couple of weeks ago and Michael was our photographer. I don't have enough good things to say about him! Michael is very professional and makes you feel so relaxed and clam around him - which is huge considering the stress surrounding a wedding and the variety of personalities a family can have. He was very flexible and accommodating in what photos we did and didn't want to do and our timings. He's not pushy like some photographers can be and to be honest I didn't even know he was there for the entire ceremony or reception - so he wasn't shoving the camera in your face and he was respecting peoples’ space.

Michael took some fantastic photos that were so natural (vs. staged) and are photos that really capture the day and how much fun and love was in the room. I personally don't like photos that are forced and he didn't do that at all. The pictures are of great quality and he took a lot, both in black and white and in color. The pricing was extremely reasonable compared to the other quotes I received and quite frankly his work is much better! If you need a photographer - definitely give him a call! I would use Michael again in a heartbeat!
