At our busiest times, the line can take over an hour, but the wait for pit-smoked barbecue is part of the culture and experience we hope you'll enjoy at Hometown. It's our goal to keep you informed and occupied while you wait, so grab a drink from the bar or from a server and make the line worth it. We ensure that you get fresh cut-to-order meats and our carvers and cashiers are there to guide you through any questions you have.

BBQ Weddings are the Best Weddings
Hometown BBQ is a wedding hero. The food is just as delicious as it is at the restaurant and they have so many great cocktail app options. All of our guests are still raving about how good the food was at the wedding. The Hometown team is kind, professional and so talented. They went above and beyond to meet our requests and made sure everything went seamlessly on the day of. If you want BBQ at your wedding, this is the place.

Looking for a great rehearsal dinner venue in Brooklyn? Check out Hometown BBQ in Red Hook. They have a private room off the main dining room that can hold up to 50-60 people. The food is incredible, the room has it's own bar area and a stage equipped with a mic for speeches... And the staff is amazing! Pricing was the most reasonable I found, and I priced out at least 12 other venues. We had 40 people there in the private room from 7:30-10pm, with tons of food, open bar and dessert and it was $3000 including set up and tip!
