We had a pretty large destination wedding in Portland, almost 250 people so we knew we wanted a hotel that could accommodate us and all our out of town guests. The Holiday Inn By the Bay was the best choice that we made for our wedding. The venue had been recently renovated with new carpet and could easily hold our cocktail hour and reception with dance floor. Kristyn was wonderful to work with and catered to our every request from the layout, to the food additions, to the special requests for the bar. The Holiday Inn went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. Bonus was having the lounge in the lobby where our guests could go for a night cap and where we had pizza brought it, it was the perfect place for the after hours without having to leave the venue. It was so nice that the guests could just go upstairs to their rooms, including my new husband and I. We also were able to have a large breakfast there the next day for our guests, the food kept coming, no one went hungry. I would recommend this venue for anyone who wants to have a special wedding in Portland.

I really appreciated how flexible they were when it came to food and set up. I wish Melissa had answered her email more often when it came down to the final few weeks, but I am otherwise pleased with how it turned out and Mark Look was always very responsive. The price for the venue was excellent, and just as good quality as other ridiculously expensive venues and catering in the area.
