A space rich with history, Historic Hudson Studios is a photo/film studio and event venue located in Hollywood, California. Situated in the heart of LaLa Land and steeped in the creative spirit of the city, this stunning destination is a perfect choice for couples who are looking to inject some movie magic into their special day. Each of our two main spaces features a solid wood bowstring trussed roof sitting overtop 18-foot ceilings, original exposed brick walls, and enormous industrial windows with natural light flooding in. Facilities and Capacity

Historic Hudson Studios offers two main event spaces plus 6 smaller rooms that can be arranged in a variety of configurations to perfectly accommodate your unique celebration of love. This flexibility while planning ensures that you will be able to realize your specific vision on your big day. Historic Hudson Studios is the perfect setting for a variety of events; grand wedding day celebrations, intimate elopements, engagement parties, wedding showers, and anything else you can dream up. Within our two 3,000 and 6,000 sq foot spaces, we have four full professional kitchens available, a hair and makeup room, and several other rooms that can be customized to your specifications. We can comfortably accommodate up to 75 people seated or 100 standing. All of us here at Hudson are veterans of the film industry and have a professional events team that will be with you from planning to event day. We possess the “make it happen” attitude of this movie-making town and are enthusiastically on hand and ready to help you bring your vision to life!

Historic Hudson Studios is also pet-friendly! Feel free to include your furry family members in your celebration. In the middle of the big city, parking can be a little tricky. HHS is pleased to be able to offer you either valet or parking garage and shuttle packages to make your event as seamless as possible.

History

Built in 1948, this historic building is an industrial gem of the early studio era in Hollywood. Smack in the center of the Theater District, creatives of all kinds have flocked here over the years, making it an epicenter of artistry and imagination. Historic Hudson Studios has played host to theatre companies, dance companies, filmmakers, photographers, painters, and more. Legendary photographer Herb Ritts even shot his iconic portraits of Madonna, Jack Nicholson, and David Bowie in his second-floor studio right across the hall from our venue, and Fred Astaire used HHS East as a dance rehearsal studio.
