About

The Hollywood Roosevelt is a wedding and event venue in Los Angeles, California. The hotel has a historic lobby and ballroom that have been restored back to the original 1927 Hollywood glamour. Their ballroom was the birthplace of the Academy Awards in 1929 and the entire hotel is a unique space for weddings and events.

Facilities and Capacity

The hotel has more than 25,000 square feet of flexible event space.

The Academy Room is nearly 2,400 square feet and can accommodate 110 guests for a seated dinner and 150 guests for a reception. It features floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook Hollywood Boulevard, 16 foot vaulted ceilings and a cast-iron chandelier.

The Blossom Ballroom is fit for a ceremony or reception. It was recently restored and features 25 foot tall LED light ceilings, more than 4,000 square feet of space, a custom chandelier, vintage tiles, original ceiling details, and 10 foot radial doors. Here we can accomodate up to 250 guests including a dancefloor, or 400 for a standing cocktail reception.

The Historic Lobby is a stunning space for a ceremony. It was created in a Spanish Colonial Revival style and features arched doorways, stone columns, paneled ceilings, and more than 80 years of history. The lobby can accommodate 200 guests for a ceremony. The Rooftop gives you 360-degree panoramic views and an unforgettable event under the stars. The open-air space is beneath the iconic Roosevelt Hotel sign and can accommodate 150 guests.

Glamorous and Iconic Venue

I had my wedding this month at the Roosevelt and I cannot have picked a better place. The building is gorgeous so i did not have to spend money on decor, the food was delicious and they did a custom item for the menu. Tiffany and Swaylah and all the people working there were professional, kind, flexible and just generally amazing!! to work with. The location is the best in LA and my guests just loved it. It felt middle eastern, Spanish, old Hollywood, new Hollywood all at once. The hotel block was fair and came with perks for my guests. They really made my wedding one of the best nights of my life. Teddy's bar had places to sit and my guests commented on how they loved the setup for the cocktail hour. Did i mention the food?! Delicious and plentiful. My family and the groom's family were very happy with the venue and the party. Tiffany was just outstanding as an event manager, responsive with emails and really made us feel like she cared for our night to go well. I can't say enough, don't bother looking anywhere else, this place is amazing and iconic!

To the ladies that made it all come together!

We had the best experience using the Hollywood Roosevelt as our wedding venue. The staff on our wedding day was so helpful and made sure all our needs were taken care of. Huge shout out to Sway, Sheila and Miriam for everything, those ladies went above and beyond!!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

We had our wedding reception here and it was so incredibly memorable! A combination of old Hollywood glam with all the modern comforts! Our guests were able to look out over Hollywood Boulevard at the hustle and bustle near the Chinese Theater, while dancing the night away! The food was delicious! Highly recommend the filet and lobster! We were also given a beautiful suite that had spectacular views overlooking Hollywood Blvd! Erin Hooper was amazingly kind and responsive. So helpful and sweet in the midst of all the normal wedding planning chaos! We couldn't have had a better experience! The Hollywood Roosevelt was worth every penny and we can't recommend it highly enough!

SPECTACULAR! BEST PLACE FOR A WEDDING!
If you want to the perfect venue, the most beautiful ballroom in all of Los Angeles - the best coordinators in Ana Maria and Claire, fantastic food, Over the top 5 star service - book your wedding at The Hollywood Roosevelt! Hotel coordinators Ana Maria and Claire and Banquet Manager Robert will make sure you will have a wedding that is stress-free and the dream of a lifetime! Tney will help you every step of the way and answer every question with a smile.
We just had our daughter's wedding there and we agree - This is the #1 place to get married in LA!

The Roosevelt came to our rescue after we lost two of our venues. I had emailed an inquiry at 11:30pm and the first email that came back the next morning was The Roosevelt - the next day I was at the venue, meeting with the lovely Annie, who was so kind to give me all of the information and show me everything that the hotel can do. She is just wonderful to work with and would do anything to help us out to make our wedding come to life.

Top notch service for sure - every single person we had interacted with prior to, during, and after the wedding was highly professional. The security at the wedding was fantastic - we had gotten married over Memorial Day weekend and needless to say the hotel was busy with a pool party every single day, even during our wedding. Security made sure to not let any uninvited guest around the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception - no breaking through those guys! They were TERRIFIC! The food was outstanding and so delicious, when we had our tasting it was so easy and fun, even the kick ass chef came out to see how everything was tasting and even took our suggestions to swap tiny things around and he made it great! We also planned a post wedding brunch at their lovely restaurant Public, and it was SOOOOO delicious!

Planning anything and everything at the Roosevelt was painless and very enjoyable - you pay for top quality and you definitely receive it - the staff is very professional and kind, and they really go above and beyond what you initially set forth to do.

And not to mention - the venue is naturally gorgeous! Fantastic fantastic fantastic venue - you will be taken care of!

The Roosevelt Hotel is a spectacular venue for a Hollywood wedding. We had our ceremony in the historic lobby and our reception in the Blossom ballroom. Annie the event coordinator was amazing and on too of everything. The staff is very professional and accommodating. They even let us take pictures on the roof with the iconic Roosevelt sign! Very classy and elegant venue. No complaints.

We had our wedding here and it was truly the perfect venue for us. Elegant, gorgeous and large, it was a lucky find. Our out of town guests loved the location. The staff was so helpful and Callie was great working with us. She was refreshingly down to earth, very honest, and responsive. The food was delicious and they listened to our requests from the food tasting. The food received rave reviews from our guests. It all comes with a price tag but it seemed reasonable compared to other venues that we checked out - i.e., reasonable by wedding standards. The only part of the hotel that we had difficulty working with were the group reservations which is a totally separate department. We found the rates were more expensive than the deals our guest found online. We resolved this by recommending our guests stay at other neighboring hotels in the area. Overall an excellent venue for a classic and classy Hollywood wedding. We highly highly recommend it! Also, if you have a big guest list, rent extra speakers. We only had two and some of our guests could not hear all of the speeches.
