'Til Death Valley Do Us Part'

****Extreme temperatures prevent outdoor weddings May 1-Sept 1

A bride will always remember her wedding day, her guests will never forget experiencing Death Valley for the first time.

Death Valley is a perfect location for anyone willing to trade the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas for the glories of wide-open desert spaces with sparkling, star-filled skies.

The four-diamond Inn at Death Valley brings together the romance of Old California and the valley’s natural beauty. Take over our 66-room historic Inn, complete with its unique spaces which are fantastic for groups. From the classic pool to the lush spring-fed gardens to the roof-top terrace overlooking the valley, this venue is a vintage beauty.

Plan your wedding at our oasis, just two hours from Las Vegas, but a whole world apart. The resort, centered in the heart of the national park, presents a compelling contrast to the high volume mega-hotels in Las Vegas.

Small Family Wedding

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue to have our wedding than the Oasis at Death Valley.  We were originally planning a reception for over 100 people, but due to covid reduced it to an intimate family wedding of 11 total.  Amber Shields became our de facto wedding planner, and she did a fantastic job of arranging the ceremony to the reception and everything in between.  Both the ceremony and the reception were held in the Mission Gardens, across from the Inn at the Oasis, which is a lovely outdoor event space secluded from hotel guests and park visitors.  Amber and the team at the Oasis were consummate professionals, ensuring that all of the small personal  details were perfectly executed from the wedding runner, to the centerpieces and the cake topper. The Oasis was able to accommodate all of our requests, even with the small group, to ensure that our wedding weekend was completely stress free.  Amber blocked out hotel rooms, helped with the "rehearsal" dinner reservations, and even arranged box lunches and dinner for the day after the wedding.  This allowed us to truly have a vacation at the Oasis with our families, which is what weddings should be all about!
Planning a wedding at any time is complicated, and having a wedding during covid only added to the stress.  We were in amazing hands with the Oasis, the staff was respectful of maintaining distance and was always wearing a mask. We were also fortunate that the entire event was set outside, which allowed our families to sit and relax at their own household tables and allay concerns about eating dinner together.
If you love Death Valley as much as we do, and are considering planning a wedding or another event there please please contact Amber Shields.  We first were in touch with her in November of 2019, and her expertise and professionalism helped us make the decision to move forward with our wedding even with all of the back and forth during these uncertain times.  The wedding ceremony and reception ended up being so much more special and memorable, we cannot thank Amber and the Oasis team enough for making it happen!!

Beautiful Venue

We were very excited to have our wedding at this beautiful venue. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. Our wedding will be at this venue next year and even though we have to wait, I have to say my experience with them so far has been nothing but great. Amber is very nice, understanding, flexible and super helpful when it comes to planning your day. She helped us with everything and we truly appreciate all that she has done for us so far

Beautiful venue

This venue is gorgeous and in the most jaw droppingly beautiful location. We had a small wedding, but it felt so grand. Amber, our coordinator was so helpful through the whole process. Everything was perfect!

We got married in Death Valley in March. We had our ceremony at Badwater Basin and then the reception dinner at the Inn at Death Valley located within the Oasis Resort. We had a private banquet room with a wonderful buffet dinner for 27 of us. Service was phenomenal and the room and views were gorgeous.

My wife and I were married at the Oasis at Death Valley (formerly the Furnace Creek Inn) on February 25, 2018. Everything - from the early planning of the occasion through to the actual ceremony in the beautiful Mission Garden venue - was seamless and first class. Amber, the event planner at the Oasis, was professional, extremely competent, and made everything work to perfection. The new venue (the Mission Garden), with its Spanish mission architecture, lush landscaping, and backdrop of amazing desert hills is both unique and spectacular. The ceremony, which Amber helped to arrange with a wonderful minister/officiant she recommended, was exactly what we had hoped for. The Inn at the Oasis is a truly special place, with rooms overlooking the expanse of Death Valley, great facilities, and wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Thank you, Amber, and all the folks at the Oasis at Death Valley for making our wedding a truly special and unforgettable day.

I wanted a hassle free destination wedding and that is just what they gave me. They took care of everything and even added in a few nice touches that made the whole experience excellent. The room they gave us was just perfect also. I'm so glad we were married there so we can return to such a wonderful place year after year and remember a beautiful wedding. What a special place!

Amber really helped us put together a wonderful wedding reception at the Furnace Creek inn. She was very responsive, super helpful and the day of the event all the staff were super great. We couldn't have asked for anything more, it was all just perfect! Thank you Amber, we really appreciate all your work to help us make our event so special.

Absolutely breath taking garden views in a very unique setting! Staff is amazing, we had just great people and help from out first contact to the last. There was some limitation on available dates, due to the Inn being closed during the summer. It's expensive as well, but worth every penny!

Keep lines of communication open. Our organiser (I'm sorry I have forgotten her name) was very professional and adaptable.
