My husband and I ran into a situation out of our control that resulted in us finding a new venue 60 days out from our wedding date. Cindy and Shelby at Loft 84 were sensitive to our situation and went above and beyond to put our emotions at ease and make sure our wedding day was amazing. The venue is beautiful and can be used for any wedding theme. We had a western/country wedding and it was beautiful in this space. The bridal suite and groomsmen space are themed and amazing places for photos and the main hall is a great size with good natural lighting, a balcony with heaters, and a balcony inside from the bridal suite that we used for wedding party introductions and throwing the bouquet. The staff was friendly and supportive and did everything they could to make sure the day was perfect for us. My coordinator enjoyed working with the venue staff and mentioned how easy it was to do. This is a beautiful place for a wedding and i HIGHLY recommend it.

This location was ideal for my wedding theme. It's vintage. It's intimate. Owners are wonderful and incredibly talented at what they do. They made it very easy to communicate. Would definently recommend this venue!

Cons:
Was made many promises at the beginning and told not to worry.
They took forever to have a contract made with all these so called promises.
Neglected to mention certain things were not included with wedding coordinators.
Day of demonstration of table; they had nothing of what I had requested. They told me they would have a sample table of what the table would look like, the day of the wedding, and I even purchased a floral arrangement, only to see a naked table with practically nothing on it.
Had to pay for the cake cutting; the day of the wedding at the time of the cake cutting; $100.
Accidentally left shoes behind in bridal suite and was never contacted about leaving personal item behind.
Called them the next day about the shoes and they said they “hadn’t seen anything”...
It’s common courtesy to do so and contact the last bride or event party if they see items left behind. They replied with “per contract we are not responsible for any personal belongings”.
Received shoes almost a month later since they refused to look for them where I told them I had left them. Simple task they made very difficult. I’m sure they have a cleaning staff. Did they not see them and wonder “hmm these shoes must belong to the bride from last night”? (assuming they clean daily).
Was told I would have a bar at the cocktail room and a week before the wedding, when I ask to confirm, they tell me, “You were supposed to tell us you wanted one, that is extra if you want that”.
Was told that the guest could go into the patio; it was closed off day of wedding.
Pros:
Venue is beautiful. That’s it.
Price is ok, but a lot is hidden and must be payed for, separately.

First and for most, there is a severe lack of communication between the staff. I paid extra $200 for a staff to tend the photoshoot area and no one ever showed up, my guests had to take their own pictures. I was also disappointed with one of the vendors they recommended called Dixie Donuts, totally not worth $750 + service chance $65 + Gratuity $135 (there was no one serving it) = $950 total for 150 people, for jars of candy with no additional decor and the candy was not that great. I can put candy in jars for $350. I also did the cake table and precut all the cakes to avoid extra charges (they charge to cut your cake), my total cost for cake table was $250 (delicious cakes from costco). And finally, the one female bartender was very rude to my guests, this came from many of my guests. And Towards the end my mother (78 yr old) who only has one kidney asked to use the restroom and she told my mother to clean up after herself because they already cleaned the bathrooms. This bartender should not be in the service business. My event was Grad Party event May 24th, 2025. They should know who this bartender is. She was also really rude to my husband 😒

And to this day 06.23.25 I have not received a refund for the additional staff I paid for and they didn't s schedule.

July 3rd, 2025 (Event day May 24th 2025) and to this day no refund on services I paid for and didn't receive. Instead she sent this email to me and city because I was trying to get back on what I paid and they did not deliver. I zelled $16,000+ and she cannot refund me $200 that I legally should get back (Now I would like a refund on the services for rude bartender chasing my guests away with her impatience and rude service). And she only called me twice yesterday. Previously were only vague messages to my husband and one call where we waited for a refund that never came. Instead of refund, I get this senseless email bellow. And a threat of suing me for defamation of her character. Defamation implies I am not telling the truth. I am saying nothing but the TRUTH.
"Hello Rachael and Philip I will handle this situation. This lady is unfortunately out of control. She is just trying to get money and there was nothing wrong with her event. I was there the whole evening. I’m sorry that she has bothered you. I don’t know where she feels that emailing everybody in the city is going to help get the attention of people or get her something that she feels that she isn’t deserve of. I have tried calling her multiple times and she refuses to answer my calls because she knows that I am in the right.

my experience as maid of honor
We arrived at the venue promptly around 10:30 am, once we were there nothing was set up and by nothing I mean not even the groomsmen’s room or the bridal suite. The bride and all her bridesmaids had to wait for someone to finish cleaning up the bridal suite which set us back quite a bit as we were on a very tight schedule. Cleaning should have been completed prior to our arrival, very negligent on their part.
Once we were in the bridal suite they began to wax the floors in the venue which made it very difficult to come and go as we pleased. They had rerouted us to go through the back which did not look safe at all because it was a very narrow hallway with a lot of shelves that were stacked very high. Some one who worked at the venue stated that they forgot there was a wedding today and they thought it was tomorrow! SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND NEGLIGENT!
Now fast forward to the actual party, they had said that we have 30 min to kick I believe it was 50 people out of the wedding or we will be shut down. Now we begged them to open the cocktail room back up bc we didn’t even use it in the first place and they refused even though clearly that was included in our contractual agreement! Also let me add the the bride had spoken to you guys about the wedding being up to 200 people and not once did u communicate to her that 200 people will result in a shut down due to covid, in fact one of the main reasons we went with loft 84 was bc of that count! Anyways very horrible experience from start to finish. The day had started horrible because of miscommunication, unprofessionalism, and negligence and it ended with the bride crying. Thanks for absolutely nothing.
