*OUTDOOR CEREMONY AND RECEPTION VENUE*
The Sepulveda Home is located in San Pedro, California. It is conveniently situated near the Port of Los Angeles, providing panoramic views of the scenic surroundings. This Louisiana French Colonial private residence was designed and constructed in 1929 by an architect for his daughter and son in law. Designed to resemble the majestic homes of the South, along with a bayou inspired garden. Today, a mother-daughter team own and operate the venue and are pleased to be able to open their doors to couples desiring a site for ceremonies and receptions.
Facilities and Capacity
From the moment you arrive at the Sepulveda Home, you will be in awe of the details and atmosphere. The residence features a 40-foot front porch, complete with shutters and ceiling fans, perfect for photography. Ceremonies and receptions can be held in various settings found throughout the garden. The outdoor amphitheater site allows you and your loved ones to be truly immersed in a stunning garden setting, surrounded by pepper and magnolia trees and a running creek. With features like an outdoor fireplace and heating lamps, you will be comfortable regardless of the season you choose to exchange your vows in. The garden offers more than enough space for you to host your wedding with up to 85 seated guests (120 cocktail style) and a dance floor. It is frequently described as romantic, quaint, and intimately “not too big” for your guest count.
Services Offered
The team at the Sepulveda Home desire to make your wedding planning process as easy as possible. On-site coordinators are available to collaborate with a variety of artisans varying from photography to flowers, and can assist with your wedding day planning from the very first meeting until the sparkler send off on your wedding night.
Wedding Packages The Sepulveda Home offers three types of packages with different menus and pricing tiers. Your reception is complete with tables, linens, chiavari chairs, dining by candlelight, glassware, flatware, and ambiance lighting. Music is included either by the in house jazz trio, and or a Disc Jockey. Please contact the venue for further package inclusions and information.

Love love love
Venue/Aesthetic: Most photos I've seen online do not give the place justice. We weren't completely sure what we'd think until we saw it in person. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS. We fell in love with the drooping trees, lush greens, and vintage house. The bridal suite and groom suite are so aesthetic for pictures. The outside is incredibly magical at night with all of the candles and chandeliers lit up. (If you visit the venue please go at sunset so you can see it during the day and at night) The vibe is very much like the Blue Bayou restaurant in Disneyland. (Perfect for our subtle Pirates of the Caribbean theme). We had probably about 80 people all together. I think that was the perfect amount for this venue as it might feel a bit too crowded if you have over 100. Also, highly recommend the live jazz band and DJ. It added so much to the ambiance and mood.
Experience: Sara was super sweet, friendly, hands on and helpful from the very beginning. I never felt like I needed to worry about contacting her. She made sure to answer all of my questions throughout the process and make us feel very comfortable and taken care of. It felt like a very personal experience getting to plan everything with her. She handled all of the details and day of coordinating wonderfully.
Food: It's Lucille's. The food was amazing. We got lots of compliments and our guests were very happy. No complaints here.
Also, we booked the cocktail style reception which fit better with our budget and guests. It was so fun. Guests were much more free to mingle and move around. If you have a mostly young adult crowd, I would definitely recommend considering it.
Overall, we absolutely loved our wedding and experience at this venue. 5 stars all around for us!!

process and we honestly could not have done it without them! Our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how our wedding was one of the nicest weddings they’ve ever been to! We really cannot say enough nice things about The Sepulveda Home and all of the staff. We highly recommend this beautiful venue and are so happy we got to have our wedding here!

We worked with Sara from beginning to end, and she was so caring, knowledgeable, attentive to details, and easy to trust!
Moreover, after seeing many corporate venues who charged extra fees for every little detail, it was such a breath of fresh air to have Sara proactively provide a quote that was inclusive of everything (taxes, fees, etc.) Though seemingly a minor detail, it left quite an impression on me and my husband and indicated to us the values that reflect how Sara and her family approach their clients. We greatly appreciated this!

I have done several weddings at The Sepulveda, it is an awesome venue. There are so many photo ops there that I can't possibly shoot everything I want in one day! It's a gorgeous house and grounds. Do yourself a favor and look into it!
From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, you feel like you have come home. The welcome is truly genuine. The owners have wonderful personal stories to share about this estate and just about everything in it. They lovingly maintain the home, from the lush landscaping to the details in the bride room. Look no further, this is the place for small a romantic wedding, an intimate garden party, a baby or bridal shower or just a fun 20's theme party. We are excited to be selected as their preferred caterer and look forward to all the wonderful things we will do together.
