The Hidden Creek Country Club is a ballroom within a country club in the Washington, D.C. area. This classic country venue sits on rolling acres that include a golf course and a ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows for perfect views. Couples can find this venue in Northern Virginia, just 15 minutes from Dulles International Airport.
Facilities and Capacity Couples can invite up to 300 guests to celebrate their big day at the Hidden Creek Country Club. A ceremony can be held outdoors on the large deck with tree tops as the background to the couple’s vows. Receptions take place in the venue’s main ballroom space (completely renovated in 2025). This room features brown/ grey hardwoof floors and floor-to-ceiling windows along many of the walls. Some of the windows are actually doors that open to the deck area. In the smaller section of this deck, tables can be setup for a cocktail reception, or under an awning for reception overflow from the main ballroom. A stone pathway leads to a firepit where couples and guests can enjoy fresh air and the smell of crackling wood under the stars.

Hidden Creek Country Club stole my heart when I first found them online. I reached out, and they responded promptly, even though it was a busy season for them. Katie (Catering Director) replied to my initial email, and I appreciated that she welcomed me to visit Hidden Creek Country Club whenever I could to see the venue and meet her. During my visit, I met Katie and Taylor (Banquet Captain), and Taylor was the one who gave me the tour. When I saw the venue (Fairway Ballroom), it was beautiful and spacious. The view on the deck was also stunning. The ballroom itself was already spacious, and renting the ballroom also included the deck, which made the space even larger! After the tour, Taylor worked closely with me, and she is the sweetest, most amazing, and attentive person I’ve ever known! Even though I didn’t have a wedding planner, she made the preparations—choosing the menu, napkins, and even the layout—seamless. Whenever I sent an email, she replied in a professional and timely manner. If she wasn’t able to respond to my inquiries, Katie would step in and provide an answer. I just loved how they made it so easy for me to organize my own wedding, never leaving me clueless or wondering for long. Even the day before, they accommodated my request to drop off my decorations, and I also loved how they were so flexible! Another thing—one of my decorations was the bow on every chair, and they even offered to help put bows on all the chairs. This was amazing, and I’m so thankful I found them! Also, on the day of my wedding, Taylor was always in the room, so I could ask her questions. The sound system was fantastic too! My guests left amazing comments about the food (especially the dessert) and how beautiful the venue was!
100/10 for me—it was a perfect, dreamy wedding day for me and my husband!!

Flexible, Kind, and Beautiful
While I've never played golf, I was married here in 2021! The site was beautiful, the events staff were incredibly kind, supportive, friendly, and flexible, and the food was excellent. We had a very small and simple brunch ceremony, and although we were working with a tight timeline and lots of last-minute changes, the staff were extremely kind and helpful. It was a lovely day, made much better by lovely people supporting us.

The perfect wedding day!
My wedding at Hidden Creek Country Club (both ceremony and reception) was perfect! My husband and I initially choose this venue because we loved the setting--it's full of trees and and is tucked away so it doesn't feel like it is anywhere near a city, but it is easy to get to. We booked it about 16 months before our wedding. In that time, the head of catering left but we still felt that it was easy to communicate with the staff. Most of our communication was with Gianna and she was amazing! She was always quick to respond to emails and answered so many of my questions. It was obvious to me that the team there knows what it is doing and has a lot of experience.
Ahmed was our coordinator from the rehearsal all the way through the end of the reception and he was incredible. All of my stress melted away as soon as we met him and it stayed away. He coordinated with all of our vendors, managed guest concerns, kept us on schedule, and made sure we were happy all day long (he even brought us a plate of delicious appetizers right after the ceremony!). We brought our decorations in the day before the wedding with notes on how to set it all up and the staff did an excellent job--that was a huge relief to me as I did not want to think about set up before the ceremony.
All of the food was delicious and the service was great. Our guests loved being able to go between the reception room and the covered deck throughout the evening. It was a beautiful day, in a beautiful setting, with an excellent team who made the day run so well. Thank you, Hidden Creek!

Excellent customer service
We had a couple different wedding planners/coordinators but in the end everything worked out. We booked a middle of the day wedding and they already had an evening wedding booked. So we went into the process knowing we would need to run on a tight schedule. They helped by sending multiple copies of the timeline and reviewing it over the preceding weeks.
The venue was beautiful and perfectly for our sized wedding (50 ppl). They had all the decorations set up by the time we got there and took them down at the end in moments. We were able to take the decorations with us when we left. They had water and fruit set up in the locker rooms while we were getting ready.
During the many walk throughs I ended up having, they were able to show us places they recommended for pictures after the wedding. It was definitely helpful to walk through with the photographers before the wedding.
The only negative was the rehearsal. Their organizer was late so we had started running the rehearsal ourselves. Then he wanted to go over the time lime once again. We were not expecting the rehearsal to take so long and were late for our dinner reservations. However, it did help the wedding run smoothly.
The food was delicious! We had the gourmet breakfast brunch. Definitely a big hit with our guests.
I would definitely recommend them!
PS the pictures are from some of my walkthroughs and not my wedding as I don't have any without people in them.

Annette and Carlene were very helpful. They responded quickly to my concerns and questions. I was anxiety free when it came to the venue. I liked them so much I even recommended them to a friend who will be having her wedding there next year.

This venue was beautiful, with an outdoor section included with the rental space. It was very spacious for our 120 guests, and the food was excellent. I worked directly with Carlene and Annette, and they were always so helpful and responsive. The outside deck (the bar area) had a beautiful view, and it was the perfect scenery for our baby shower.

Thank you Hidden Creek for an amazing wedding and reception! We worked with Carlene and she was absolutely amazing. She responded quickly to every email and phone call, was so accommodating and flexible, and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. On the day of the wedding she took care of everything and made it all come together beautifully. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did and the amount of stress she took off of me! The food was also AMAZING-people are still mentioning it! The best part about the venue itself is the amazing patio attached to the reception hall. It was so nice to have that outdoor space and our guests loved it! Hidden Creek is truly a hidden gem and I highly recommend them to anyone!
