As a mother of the bride I would highly recommend Heather Farr Events for your wedding. Not only was Heather amazing for the bride and groom, but the real bonus is that she took away the work that so many of the parents end up doing during and at the end of the wedding reception. Both sets of parents decided hiring HFE was one of the best decisions we made.
During the early months Heather helped us develop a plan of action and a wedding day timeline. She provided vendor suggestions (who were absolutely amazing) and coordinated hotel accommodations. While we wanted to do some of the planning ourselves, Heather was always quick to answer questions or give suggestions as needed. She is so delightful and did everything she could to make this a great process for the bride and groom. We met with Heather a few times in person and she is so fun. During the last few weeks before the wedding she also confirmed all of our vendors, timelines, etc for us. Heather facilitated the wedding rehearsal and made sure everyone understood that on the wedding day all questions/concerns should be directed to her so that the bride and groom could enjoy their day.
The wedding day was PERFECT! Heather is truly the best and she made sure the whole day ran smoothly. The bride and groom were smiling the entire day! The parents of the bride and groom were also smiling all day because guess what? WE were able to enjoy the day and evening too. Heather and her team took care of, and packed up, EVERYTHING leaving us to enjoy the day with our children and guests. I would not hesitate to hire Heather and team again. In fact, we already have for our next daughter's wedding in the fall. Thanks, HFE! Can't wait.

We loved working with Heather and her team during our recent wedding in December. Heather was the first vendor we hired after booking our ceremony and reception locations, and she helped us throughout the entire planning process. Her industry knowledge and relationships with other vendors in Milwaukee were invaluable when determining who else to work with. We gave her our vision and from there, she was able to make recommendations based on our priorities that took the stress out of the planning process. It’s easy to have decision fatigue when wedding planning, but Heather made it so we could enjoy the process.

I also appreciate how organized and detail oriented Heather and her team were. She kept us on track and helped us manage budget, timelines and vendor communications.

This was especially helpful in the month leading up to our wedding. The benefit of bringing Heather in early for full planning is that she knew our vision and the details of our day upfront so she could communicate that to all of our partners, including final confirmations and timelines. They also managed all of the set up and tear down at both our ceremony and reception locations. Because our wedding took place at two different venues, we knew we needed someone we could trust to make sure everything was set up correctly, transferred and given to the appropriate person at the end of the night. Taking this off of our plate allowed us to be in the moment and enjoy our wedding day. We knew Heather would advocate for us and she did just that.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Heather and Annie! From our first conversation, they were both warm, professional, and very easy to trust. They brought such a great energy to the entire process, which, for a very anxious bride like me, really made all the difference. Annie, our coordinator, was so organized, checked in with us regularly, and was readily available to answer questions or talk through ideas. No matter what came up, Annie was flexible and reassuring. She was so accommodating with scheduling our rehearsal as well, which we really appreciated. And on our actual wedding day, I genuinely felt like I could relax and be present because I knew everything was safe in their hands.

Looking back, the only thing I would have done differently is increase our services with them and let them take on even more! They exceeded every expectation, and I can’t imagine how it would have gone without them. We are so grateful for their support and would recommend them wholeheartedly to any couple looking for a team that truly cares.

We used Heather's partial planning service for our wedding and everything turned out beautifully. She was there for us from the beginning of wedding planning all the way through the day after the wedding. Her guidance and advice throughout the wedding planning process was indispensable. She was always very responsive and answered any of the questions we had. We almost had a disaster with our desserts on the day of the wedding but she handled calmly and professionally. She even drove to get us a new cutting cake when ours arrived completely melted! Our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without Heather's help.

We truly don’t have enough words to describe how incredible the HFE team is. They made our wedding day feel like a fairytale, even through unexpected chaos (iykk). When our original venue unexpectedly shut down, Heather stepped in right away with such calm and steady reassurance. Even though we only had the day-of coordination package, she went way beyond that—helping us find a new venue that very same day. With only two months left until our May wedding, we honestly didn’t know how we would pull it off, but Heather held our hand through it all and made us believe our wedding would still come together, no matter what. She reached out to her network across Milwaukee’s wedding community to find us every venue available on our same wedding date, giving us the peace of mind we desperately needed. By then, Heather and her team weren’t just planners to us — they felt like family, and sometimes even our therapists.

On our wedding day, our lead planner, Shannon, took my very large (and probably overwhelming!) binder and brought the vision to life even better than we could have imagined. Because of her attention to detail and the way she ran everything behind the scenes, the whole day felt effortless—we were able to be fully present and soak up every second. Even I (the bride!) was able to relax and let go, which says a lot! And Jenna ran our rehearsal so smoothly—she was organized, clear, and made everyone feel at ease heading into the big day. The whole team made us feel so supported, cared for, and celebrated from start to finish. Thanks to them, our wedding wasn’t just beautiful—it was truly the wedding of our wildest dreams.
