Hi there! I'm Julia, and I'd love to officiate your elopement or wedding ceremony! I believe that words, when woven together with heart and intention, can truly create magic. For me, words, both written and spoken, are important. I truly feel in my bones that the exchanging of vows is a scared contract that should fill you up with joy, love, and purpose. My goal as an officiant is to pull out the essence of the love that you share as a couple, and turn it into tangible poetry that will leave a mark on your hearts for the rest of your lives. I want to represent you both as individuals, as well as a unified couple, in a way that is genuine to who you are. I truly enjoy getting to know couples, in person or through the web, and taking the time to create a customized and unique ceremony. I am also happy to simply provide a ceremony without in-depth personaliztion, if that is what the couple prefers for the sake of time and ease. Please note that no one ceremony is the same, either way. I love weaving together elements of nature, ancient traditions, and spirituality, without being dogmatic. If you call it God, The Universe, Spirit, or feel unclear as to whether or not a higher power exists, I believe we can create a beautiful ceremony that resonates with you.
Julia is available for weddings and elopements (including non-religous, interfaith, and faith-based), vow renewals, and union celebrations of all kinds. Julia makes the process very simple, and enjoys connecting with couples prior to the ceremony to best understand their love and commitment to one another.

Julia was incredible! She was responsive, attentive and a pure joy to be around. We are so lucky we found her to host our ceremony. As soon as we pulled up to our ceremony location, Julia was there and ready. She was great at coordinating the ceremony with our photographer and family. Look no further if you're wanting someone with a great energy and soul for your ceremony. She put us both at ease and was flawless at navigating through the steps of the ceremony. Thank you Julia!Sent on 10/09/2020

Definitely heartfelt, connective and personable.
We loved Julia! We didn't meet her until we got to the altar but it was like we had already met. It was obvious that she had taken the time to make sure our vows were personable and special to us. This is what we were looking for in an officiant and she definitely delivered. Her ability to bring us to the present and really help us feel like that moment in time was special. She was wonderful. Thank you again Julia!Sent on 10/05/2020

Best officiant experience you could ever have.
My fiance and I were getting married in Asheville and looking for an officiant in the area to help us. After many conversations with potential options, we found that their process was all very transactional. We realized we wanted someone that put thought into the ceremony and truly cared about having the responsibility of marrying us. We were a bit discouraged by our options of officiants in the Asheville area - and then we found Julia! She's the sweetest, best person ever. She put so much thought into our ceremony and everyone came up to us after the ceremony thinking we were longtime friends. I would recommend her a million times - if you're getting married in Asheville, you need Julia to be there.Sent on 10/08/2020
