Beautiful non-religious wedding ceremony
Julia crafted such a beautiful non-religious ceremony for us! She really listened to us and what we wanted and made the ceremony simple but also very authentic and individual to us. We loved that she started with a grounding in the beginning, which really helped us stay present and in the moment. Julia has a very calming presence that we both really appreciated the day of. We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony or officiant! -

Julia took special care to get to know us as a couple, and she used the story of our love to create a magical and very personalized ceremony that we will remember and treasure for years to come. As a couple trying to get married during the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding two times. Each time Julia was understanding and flexible beyond anything we could've expected. From a more practical point, Julia's communication was great, she provided good guidance on what was needed from us and when and never failed to answer any and all questions we had.
When we finally did get to have our wedding Julia's ceremony was beyond perfect. We both felt such a connection to each other and the words that she crafted for us. And a simple reminder to take a breath and center ourselves before she began allowed us to truly experience the moment together. Her ceremony was one of our favorite moments of our wedding and she truly enhanced our day with her presence. -

Simply perfect
Julia was exactly what we were looking for- she created a beautiful ceremony catering to us personally . Her words were so meaning full and though out , I particularly appreciated the moment of meditation she has us take at the start of the ceremony. Julia crafted a beautiful ceremony for us that we will cherish forever. We eloped in July, on a day where rain and thunderstorms were threatening the “plan” of our wedding day - but once we knew we could safely continue, Julia was game too! Julia was a calm presence and guide into the first moments of our marriage, speaking beautifully about all of the things that bring value into the life we’ve chosen to share together. As a true elopement (just the two of us!) it was important that the ceremony reflected the peace we felt in our decision to elope and get married in the beautiful NC mountains. Julia delivered from beginning to end, using space, time and words to guide us to the physical and mental headspace to enjoy a monumental moment of our lives. We truly couldn’t have imagined a better ceremony. Julia’s talent with words and dedication to creating the perfect ceremony for a couple is a remarkable feat. Julia with Heartfelt Elopements provided the most amazing officiating services at our June 2021 wedding. We reached out to Julia early in 2021 and began the process by meeting over zoom to share our experience as a couple and the goals we have for our marriage. We remained in contact through the months leading up to our wedding where we were able to experience Julia’s talent and passion first hand.
From the first time of contact we could tell that Julia cares deeply about her couples and the ceremony she creates for them. We couldn’t be happier with the ceremony service Julia created for us and our family. Julia was an absolute pleasure to work with for our elopement, as well as our wedding celebration/vow renewal the following year. We met her during covid craziness when our original wedding was postponed a year but we still wanted to have a ceremony. Julia has given us the most lovely ceremonies I could have ever imagined. I seriously would not have changed a single word. And having previously worked with another vendor on our ceremony before meeting Julia, I can say with confidence that Julia truly understood us, our relationship, and was able to translate it to our ceremony far beyond my expectations. We first reached out to Julia 2 years ago, we postponed from May 2020 to May 2021 and she's been a dream to work with the entire time! She was meant for this role :) Julia has such a calming presence and voice, I am so grateful to have found her and that she was able to hold space for us. Everyone we talked to at our wedding was blown away by the ceremony, as were we. It was absolutely perfect for us, it was so personal, intentional, grounding, meaningful... everything! Even our photographer said it was the best ceremony she's ever witnessed!!! My biggest regret was not hiring a videographer so we could listen to it again! Cannot reccomend Julia enough! -

As others have stated, where do I begin! I originally reached out to Julia because I loved that she created a unique ceremony for every couple (I also loved that she was a fellow yogi). And now that it is all over, am I so happy that we hired her! First, you will feel like you've known her forever, she has an amazing energy and is just the sweetest person. We had two locations, one for if it was nice out and one in case it was raining. She was so understanding and okay with waiting until the day of to see where we would be! Secondly, and probably most importantly, the ceremony she creates for you is breathtaking. She opens it up with a grounding meditation, reminding you to breathe and be in the moment. It was a beautiful little moment that most people wouldn't think about adding, but it is so impactful. As soon as she began talking, I immediately started crying! She really listens to who you are as a couple and incorporates it into the ceremony. Little things that we mentioned during our consultation, she incorporated and they were sweet little surprises! She also makes room for what you want. We wanted our parents to give blessings and she incorporated that beautifully. She even gave us a copy of the ceremony to keep! Overall, I don't think our elopement would have been the same without Julia and we can't thank her enough. Highly highly recommend!! -

I can’t begin to explain how wonderful Julia is. From our first phone call we knew she was the officiant we wanted and immediately connected with her. She was more than understanding and made sure the ceremony was entirely about who we were as a couple. It was as though she had known us our whole lives. She included all of our guests, kept us present in the moment, and made our ceremony one that we will remember forever. It was better than we could have ever desired and I’m not exaggerating when I say our ceremony was what our guests commented about our wedding the most. One person stated “that was the sweetest and most calming wedding ceremony I had ever attended. Sometimes they drag on about something and I zone out but I felt every word and cried the whole time. I texted my friend (who wasn’t there) about it right after.” She will forever hold a special place in our lives! -

Sacred Ceremony in 2020
It felt like the universe handed us a treasured gift when I contacted Julia about holding space for our intimate ceremony in Asheville in October 2020. From the moment we connected via email, Julia was beyond organized and supportive along with weaving her values and practice into the art of gathering people to celebrate something to sacred. She had wonderful recommendations for vendors for us, as I was planning from out of town and only planning a month and a half before our microwedding. Julia and each artist (vendor) that joined us played a significant role in bringing our vision to life, but even better than we could have ever imagined. As a yoga instructor myself, I was so honored to have Julia also guide us through an early yoga practice with family to begin our day with a grounded energy. Immersing ourselves in nature surrounded by such thoughtfulness is something we're so thankful to get to savor forever. Our deepest gratitude. -

Julia helped us feel relaxed and at peace on our wedding day. We asked for a calming and peaceful ceremony and she nailed it!! Her words and aura is just so special. My wedding day was not picture perfect considering the rain. Despite the weather, Julia happily ran along with the crew of elopement workers as we all looked for a location, that wasn’t too dense with fog- and we started 1.5 hrs after the planned time! I thanked Julia before she left and literally started crying tears of happiness, again. She is golden!! -

We could not have been happier with Julia, our officiant. We had an intimate destination wedding on top of Black Balsam Knob in Asheville with our daughters and immediate family. We are a blended family with two young daughters so it was important to us that our ceremony be about the four of us.
Julia's ceremony was everything we could have hoped for. She herself is a sweet, kind thoughtful soul, and her ceremony was exactly that. She worked with me to incorporate our daughters into the ceremony as my husband and I each read vows to them. She also suggested a sand ceremony to blend our family and it was beautiful.
She made sure that we literally stopped to acknowledge where we were, to take a moment and really breathe it all in. There was no rushing. She wanted to be share we enjoyed every precious second. Weddings go so incredibly fast and she took the time to make sure we were present in that very special moment.
Julia took the time to get to know what was important to us and the ceremony she prepared reflected that completely. There was not a dry eye on the mountain when we finally said I Do!
Hearfelt Elopements is a fitting name because you can tell that Julia truly puts so much thought and emotion into her ceremonies and I will recommend her to anyone! So thankful to have found her! -

Julia was one of the best decisions we made!
Julia was truly one of the best decisions we made for our elopement in Asheville! She was so supportive, understanding, and engaged through our first introductory meeting to after our ceremony. During the planning process, she asked my husband and I questions about ourselves and our relationship that she used to craft the ceremony. She was also very accommodating to all of our requests about what to include or not include. During the actual ceremony, she blew us away with a beautiful speech that truly captured the spirit of our relationship and who we are as individuals and as a couple. She also had us take a moment of mindfulness at the beginning of the ceremony that helped ground us and allowed us to be present in the experience. We never would have thought to ask for that, but it was something we definitely needed to help calm our nerves and actually experience and appreciate everything. Finally, throughout the ceremony, she was so helpful and supportive, from holding flowers to reassuring us that it was okay to stumble during our vows, all of which allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding and focus on each other. We loved working with her and highly recommend her. -
