Photos are so so important to us and we were looking for someone who would capture our wedding day in an authentic way. Amelia did just that:) Not only did she manage to document the day beautifully, she was also so sweet and made us both feel so comfortable. She pretty much hung back and took photos as events unfolded which made it feel more about the wedding and less about "getting the photos" which was so refreshing. We were so lucky she decided to shoot our wedding and I cannot recommend her and her work enough!

We hired Amelia to do both our engagement and wedding photos after two unrelated friends recommended her to us, and we are so glad we did. We wanted photos of our wedding that would help take us back to the emotions and joy we felt surrounded by our friends and family that day, and that's exactly what she does with her photography! Her editing style is stunning and timeless, and she captures the most beautiful, candid moments. I'd argue that photography is the most important part of a wedding, and I couldn't recommend Amelia enough!

Amelia is wonderful! We booked her originally for our wedding that was cancelled in May 2020 and she didn't charge us any type of extra fee for rescheduling due to COVID. She also came out to our venue on our original wedding day and shot photos of our elopement. Her packages are very reasonable, she is a great photographer, and she's a really kind person who I loved having with me on my wedding day. Can't wait for our larger ceremony in 2021.

Update: Amelia was again amazing to work with in our large ceremony this year! We have only seen a few photos so far, but they look beautiful!

When it comes to wedding photographers, Amelia is the dream. We decided to elope in North Carolina, but we live in Atlanta, so we ended up booking and planning our day completely online. In fact, our wedding day was the first day we met her! But throughout the planning process and the entire day my husband and I felt completely at ease.

My husband and I booked Amelia Fletcher Photography for our elopement in Asheville, NC, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Actually, seeing Amelia's photos online was part of what inspired us to travel to Asheville for our wedding. She was extremely professional and personable throughout the entire experience. She had us fill out a little survey to learn more about our expectations for the day so that she could make sure she met all of them. She was flexible and met us at our Airbnb for first looks before driving to the ceremony site. She also had lots of little tips, tricks, and games for us to relax, be natural, and have fun in front of the camera. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amelia! First and foremost, she is an incredibly talented photographer. She truly has a knack for capturing REAL emotions and moments in her photos. I wanted to be able to look back on my wedding photos and get a true sense of the day, seeing candid moments and emotions, as opposed to a whole bunch of staged photos, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Looking through my wedding photos brought me to tears. Even more, she is so easy to work with - she is sweet, easy-going, and helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is also talented at stepping back and making herself "invisible", and there were many moments she captured where I didn't even realize she was there. She also took time to talk to our wedding party and guests, and made everyone feel super comfortable around her. She is also incredibly professional. Within a few days of hiring her, we received a handwritten thank you card and her wedding photography handbook, which is chock full of helpful information and aesthetically gorgeous. We also did our engagement photos with her and she provided us with information on several suggested locations for the shoot. We received our previews of the engagement and wedding photos within a few days, and our entire set of wedding photos within three weeks. She also printed several of the wedding photos and put them in a beautiful framed wooden box for us - something I will cherish forever. Choose Amelia - I promise you won't regret it!!

Amelia is awesome! We could not have been more pleased with our choice of wedding photographer. She is a dream to work with. So laid back, but still professional and organized. She knew just when to step in and capture moments, and when to hang back. She had so many tricks up her sleeve in order to capture beautiful, candid shots. Amelia has an amazing aesthetic to her photographs. She is super easy to work with and really got some personality out of my husband (who HATES getting his picture taken.) We just got our wedding photo's back a couple weeks ago and we couldn't have wished for anything more stunning. She is truly the best!

My husband and I both wanted a photographer who captured the moment as is, and not having to recreate it. When we saw Amelia's photos on her website, we knew she'd be our photographer-match-made-in-heaven. We had so much fun on our engagement session in Chicago where Amelia just captured us naturally in various spots throughout Chicago. We were newish to the area and she planned exactly where we could go and also kept an eye on the setting sun. Amelia's work shines through in her outdoor photos.
