Glen Foerd is a historic riverfront wedding venue located 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With a sweeping waterfront view and 18 acres of park-like landscapes and woods, this property is truly beautiful. It's so close to Philadelphia but feels a world away!

Facilities and Capacity

Glen Foerd can accommodate up to 300 guests. The historic mansion is yours for the day! Clients have wonderful choices, including both outdoor and indoor spaces along the riverfront, boathouse and manicured lawns. There are endless opportunities for unqiue photo settings! The views of the sparkling Delaware River are spectacular and make for lovely backdrops, as do the mansion's porches and gorgeous indoor rooms. Up the grand staircase, there's an art museum on the second floor, just down the hall from the sunlit Bridal Suite (with its own bathroom). The groom and his groomsmen can get ready in the basement Rathskellar, fashioned after a German beer hall. Guests can enjoy cocktails on the stone terrace just outside the mansion, wander the riverfront paths and visit the boathouse. The customizable Riverside Pavilion includes a wood dance floor and built-in bar area, a beautifully draped ceiling and the ability to decorate to suit your vision. A huge covered porch area faces the river and allows for fire pits with s'mores - a popular choice!

Your planner will guide you through the entire process as seamlessly as possible, helping bring your wedding vision to reality.
