The Willows

The Willows is a historic wedding and event venue in Villanova, PA, on Philadelphia's Main Line. The European-style mansion is set in a 49-acre public park in Villanova with a magnificent landscape of hills, trails, trees and ponds. This historic Spanish Revival mansion was built in 1910.

Facilities + Capacity
The Willows Mansion serves as the gathering point for your event. Situated at the end of a long, winding driveway, the three-story mansion overlooks a sweeping panorama of tall trees, flowering plants, and a picturesque pond. The exterior features a red-tiled roof, smooth plastered walls, wrought iron balconies and a Spanish-style courtyard. Inside the Mansion there is a gracious foyer, dining room, a paneled library. The solarium, with Italian marble terrazzo floor and glass doors, opens onto a curved terrace with a view of the idyllic and serene setting.

The Willows holds just one event per day to give couples the time and attention they deserve. The venue accommodates weddings of up to 150 guests during tent season, with smaller celebrations possible inside the mansion during the winter months. .
Outdoor ceremonies take place against one of The Willows’ most recognizable features: the curved stucco wall and fountain, framed by the surrounding landscape. Cocktail hour can move through the mansion and terraces. Dinner takes place in a white tent on the hillside, with dancing in the mansion’s light-filled solarium.

Peachtree Weddings provides delicious high-quality cuisine and full-service event planning at The Willows. All services are personal; all menus, floor plans and timelines hand-tailored and customized so no two events are alike. Packages are all-inclusive with all equipment provided for ⁠— tables, chairs, china, flatware, linens, barware ⁠— and include event coordination, set-up and cleanup.

Wedding receptions last five hours. The Willows has an event curfew of 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 9 PM on Sundays. An on-site ceremony includes guest arrival and ceremony time, ceremony chairs, staffing for setup and breakdown, and a rehearsal during the week of the wedding.

Food + Drink
Weddings at The Willows are catered by Peachtree Weddings. Menus are seasonal and customizable, with food prepared largely from scratch in our own kitchen. Offerings range from passed hors d’oeuvres and stationary displays to plated dinners, dinner stations, desserts and late-night snacks. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, and we can accommodate a range of dietary restrictions and allergies.

Wedding packages include a five-hour open bar, with opportunities to customize spirits, wines, local craft beer, seasonal and signature cocktails. The venue provides all alcoholic beverages as licensed through the PA Liquor Control Board.
