We were very happy with Gilded Tomato’s catering for our July 2021 wedding. The owner, Julia, is passionate about her craft, very detail-oriented and communicative. Having originally scheduled our wedding for July 2020 and then postponing for a year due to the pandemic, Julia was able to work with us despite all of the uncertainty surrounding event planning and restrictions. The food served—wood-fired pizza from their beautiful oven, hummus dishes, salads and focaccia—was fantastic and our guests loved it! We are very happy that we hired Gilded Tomato and wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anybody.

I recently attended a 95th birthday party catered by GTC. The staff were helpful and attentive throughout the event. The food was healthy and delicious and the presentation beautiful from appetizers to deserts. I appreciated the farm to table foods as well as the sustainable products used throughout. I recommend GTC without reservation, to cater your next special event!

The Gilded Tomato in Rehoboth has beautiful outdoor space. The grounds are spacious yet very intimate. The sloping landscape gives you a panoramic view, allowing you to see everyone and everything at once. I loved walking around and discovering the various seating areas while mingling with all the guests. The food is farm to table, with some items grown in their own garden. The pizzas where delicious and I loved the variety, my favorite was the classic Margherita with the fresh basil. I highly recommend the Gilded Tomato!

The quality of food is always fresh and well balanced, with options ranging from omnivorous to vegetarian to vegan and even gluten-free when possible. The versatility provided by the mobile, wood-fire copper & clay ovens are a spectacle in their own right. These gleaming, polished 7,000 pound ovens are the perfect wonder to impress guests whether you are hosting a wedding, birthday party, or fundraiser. Not only do the ovens provide wonderful, tasty Neapolitan style savory pizzas, but also eligible are the sweet dessert pizza, and sometimes wood-fired appetizers!
