Everything was amazing. Food, cocktail hour and desserts were absolutely delicious and everyone was so happy with everything. Their staff and servers were super friendly. Great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

401Gourmet is amazing. They are extremely responsive no matter the day or the time, working with Elizabeth was lovely and she answered every question I could have very promptly. The food was fabulous! They are really flexible and worked with us on making our wedding our own by substituting some apps for stations with ease. Truly all of our guests are still raving about the food, and the steaks were huge. They are a star catering company, and we are recommending them to anyone who will listen!!

Cannot recommend 401 Gourmet enough!!! We and our guests were absolutely thrilled with the food and we were floored by the wonderful service. Leading up to the wedding, we worked with Elizabeth who was easily the most organized, thorough vendor contact we had. Any questions we had were quickly and completely addressed. Our guests raved about our apps, entrees, and the hot weiners we specially requested 401 make as our late night snack (a total hit!) Food was totally delicious and the service was unparalleled, running completely smoothly all night. Look no further for catering for your next big event!

We chose 401 Gourmet to cater our outdoor wedding and rehearsal dinner and could not have been more happy! First and foremost, their food is absolutely fantastic...and our families are very tough critics. But not only did 401 Gourmet cater the events, but they coordinated the whole thing by recommending a great tent company and working with them every step of the way to make our day perfect. We could not have done it without Elizabeth and Mark. We are now looking for any excuse to work with them again.

From the very beginning, the catering team exceeded every expectation. The food was absolutely incredible, beautifully presented, and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Beyond the amazing food, the service was truly exceptional. The staff was professional, attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran seamlessly throughout the evening.

We used 401 for my son's rehearsal dinner and were very happy with with experience. Communication was very fluid, any needs were accommodated. Guests were very happy with service and food was wonderful. Would not hesitate to work with them again.

401 Caterers serviced our wedding. We choose a buffet style service for our garden party theme. Our wedding date was one of the stormiest days of the spring. A meteor even fell which was close enough to feel the impact. The staff was flexible, accommodating, and easily adjusted to the weather conditions. The buffet was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Elizabeth the Event Specialist is lovely to work with. She listens and advises respectfully. As a bride watching from a window I could see the event unfold. I watched Elizabeth and the team scurrying and making adjustments to the weather challenges. The end result was perfect!

Elizabeth is so organized and truly a joy to work with. She answered every question quickly and made the entire planning process feel effortless. The team handled all allergies with such care, and the servers were absolutely amazing; attentive, kind, and incredibly professional. I’m beyond grateful for the exceptional service and delicious food.

We can't say enough good things about 401 Gourmet. When we first tried their food, we loved it and they ended up being a reasonable price too. We looked at 4 different caterers for our wedding, and they were the best hands down. The planning process was great, always so responsive with emails. They also did a lot of extra work on the day of the wedding that was above and beyond. For some background, our wedding was at Roger Williams botanical center which has no extra items that come with it so we rented tables, chairs, linens and goblets from a separate rental company. They set up everything in the greenhouse in the limited time they had to set up the day of. We had our chairs switch over to a different room after the ceremony and they helped move all of them. We had ordered desserts/cake from a separate company and didn’t have any display shelves. 401 brought extra display shelves for everything and set up all the desserts when it was time. I am a foodie who is also vegetarian and the passed hors d'oeuvres were all vegetarian, and they were all amazing and we got so many comments that everyone (non vegetarians included) loved all of them. The dinner was a buffet of food that we chose and all if it was so good, even better than when we had our trial run. We had a great variety, and everything was properly labeled. I want to plan another event just so I can have their food again cause I’m still dreaming about how good all of it was.

We used 401 Gourmet for my daughter's engagement party (160 people). Elizabeth responded to my initial inquiry quickly and throughout the process answering questions, providing images, and asking all the right questions to help guide me in decision making.
On the day of the event, Mark showed up to run the operations for the entire event, and Elizabeth came in to assure all was in place from the start. The staff got right to work setting up - incredibly friendly and enthusiastic for the party. Throughout the night they checked in with me, were responsive, proactive, and incredibly efficient, staying on timing for the evening. Just super friendly and attentive.

THE FOOD!
Scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer are a must! Just fantastic! The buffet dinner was perfectly executed - we had the steak poivre, roasted chicken, salmon along with other items. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious! I appreciated that all items came with potential allergen information (eg "contains dairy") and the professional presentation.
