I recently hired Fireworks to cater my wedding and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. Planning the wedding from out-of-town, I was nervous about not being able to do tastings with multiple catering companies before choosing one. However, Fireworks had been suggested to me by multiple people, and after Chef Mark sent me his proposed menu it was clear why. The wedding was cocktail party style, so I wanted a lot of passed appetizers, a big spread of finger foods and some small plates. The menus I had received from other local catering companies sounded standard, bland and boring. Chef Mark crafted a unique and inventive menu that perfectly reflected our tastes, and had our mouths watering just reading it. To top it off the pricing was very competitive and included china, linens and service that other companies hadn't. Heidi, the event manager, answered all my questions promptly and organized a visit to the venue ahead of time to go over everything. Fast forward to the wedding: the food was absolutely delicious, everyone remarked on the copious spread of appetizers, and multiple people told me it was the best catered food they had ever had. The servers were friendly, smiling and very attentive. One guest even told me that she had mentioned her shellfish allergy and the wait staff remembered her and made sure to mention wether each dish included it every time they passed by with appetizers. Overall Fireworks went above and beyond in every way, don't hesitate to contact them for your event!
