The Eleve Cosmetics/Gertie Glam team was awesome! Lacey made me look and feel like a princess on my wedding day. I don’t wear a ton of makeup and she made me feel beautiful without being overdone. She was able to make my hair even more beautiful than the inspiration photos I shared with her. My bridesmaids and family members had a great time getting ready with the rest of the team and all looked so beautiful!!

Gertie is hands down the best. She's so fun & easy to work with. She makes you look & feel absolutely beautiful. She did my hair & makeup for our wedding & it looked absolutely amazing. I still do a double take when I look at pictures from the day. She can accommodate any style / vibe you're going for & executes flawlessly. Her entire team did an amazing job. My bridesmaids wanted a mixture of updos & braids & natural curls; some wanted muted makeup & others wanted bolder looks -- the Gertie Glam team were fantastic. Everyone was truly thrilled with the finished hair & makeup. The team was super friendly, timely & extremely well organized; we finished ahead of schedule which is so nice on such a hectic day ;) I highly recommend the Gertie Glam team!!

Additionally, The Eleve team (Eleve is Gertie's makeup line) opened a new champagne bar in South Austin that I got to go to for my makeup trial run. It's such a chic, yet cozy space. It was super fun be pampered while practicing for the main event. I can't wait to go back & have a glass of bubbly + browse moisturizers, lip glosses & other cool, eco-friendly, not-tested-on-animals, local products. Thanks Gertie + Team! XOXO

Gertie recently did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I couldn't have been happier! She worked with me on a few trial runs, as well as on the wedding day, to make sure I got the look and style I really wanted, and was great at incorporating my feedback. She made my fine hair movie-star big and glamorous, and my makeup looked amazing all night long! Gertie is very responsive to emails/texts/calls, and perhaps most importantly, is very sweet and a delight to work (and chat) with.

Gertie is the best!
I have been searching a long time for someone who could make me look beautiful while keeping my look natural, and she is the best I've ever encountered at that. Whether it's a wedding or a date night, she does beautiful make-up that never looks overdone, only enhances natural beauty. Other nights I might be going to a concert or club and I'm interested in trying out fun and adventurous looks, and Gertie can execute those just as effortlessly!
She did my make-up for my brother's wedding a couple of years ago, and ever since, I have been hooked. My friends have come to visit and it's especially fun for Gertie to come over and do our make-up before we head out for the night. She's super sweet, flexible, and is even willing to come to my house when I need make-up done in a rush. Time flies while she does my make-up while we're chatting, and before I know it I'm looking in the mirror and feeling blown away again by how much I love it!
I recommend her to anyone; whether you're looking for a subtle, natural look or all-out glam, she does it all!

Gertie is an incredibly talented makeup artist! I had a very formal, upscale event to go to and she made me look absolutely stunning! My makeup lasted all night, with the best part being it felt very light and airy, not at all cakey or heavy feeling. She really knows how to accentuate your best features and make you feel glamorous. In addition to her amazing artistry skills, Gertie is one of the sweetest, most fun loving people you'll meet. After spending just a few minutes with her, you immediately feel like you've been friends with her for years. Gertie was such a doll to work with for my best friend's wedding. I helped the bride with finding the perfect make up and hair stylist for her perfect day. From the second I contacted Gertie, she was informative, quick to respond, and immediately let me know if she was available that day. She books up so fast, so I wouldn't hesitate! She arrived at the venue on time and ready to beautify us girls up! She did a wonderful job and pleased every bridesmaid and the bride looked absolutely stunning. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Even though I know Gertie personally, I can absolutely say from a customers aspect she is amazing at what she does. She provided the makeup for my sister's wedding this past Aug. She did an amazing job on everyone especially the bride's (my sis) she was absolutely gorgeous. If she lived closer to me, I would hire her to do my makeup every day ;)
