We loved working with Galleria Marchetti. Danielle was lovely to work with and very flexible and accommodating. We really wanted to not deal with a caterer as well as a venue so Galleria did it all in one. Their food was great and most importantly all 200 guests were served warm food in about 10 minutes. Everything went according to plan and the courtyard was gorgeous in August. We highly recommend!

Salvatore's was an INCREDIBLE venue to host our wedding! My wife & I got married at Salvatore's earlier in August, and we can confidently say it was the best day of our lives. Not only is Salvatore's a beautiful space with character and can host the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception all in one venue, but the Salvatore's team did an excellent job day of in making sure the event flowed smoothly and seamlessly, and there were never any "lulls" in the action. We received numerous compliments from our guests in just how much they enjoyed the food, ambiance, and that it was the "best wedding they've been to." Our coordinator and vendor team was responsive and collaborative throughout, and helped in adjusting to some feedback we had on decor and other details as the wedding got closer. Overall, highly recommend Salvatore's for your wedding - they will help make for a unique and memorable experience!

Words cannot describe how incredible the Firehouse and the Firehouse team are. But I will try. Our wedding was truly a dream come true. Every corner of the Firehouse is full of charm, character, and beauty. But even more memorable than the space itself was the team behind it. Sarah and Teddy and all of the Firehouse team went above and beyond from day one. Their guidance and support throughout the entire planning process was invaluable, especially since both my partner and I were working full time. They made everything feel seamless. We are so grateful for their care, responsiveness, and warmth. You can tell they genuinely care about their couples and treat each wedding with love. My only regret is that since I’m already married I can’t have another wedding at the Firehouse! Maybe a vow renewal in the future. Choosing Firehouse and the Firehouse team was truly one of THE best wedding decisions we made. Thank you Firehouse for making our wedding feel so special

I fell in love with the Women’s Club of Evanston the moment I walked in for a tour. It is a gorgeous old mansion with deep roots; the manager (Gretchen) is kind, reliable, and so easy to work with; the preferred caterer we used (Catering by Michaels) was raved about by our guests; and the gift of bringing your own alcohol was huge. Our guests kept commenting on the uniqueness of the space, how great it was to have a pianist playing during our cocktail hour on the first floor, and how joyful and bright the ballroom looked. It was honestly beyond anything I imagined. A few extra things of note – our guests stayed at the Graduate Evanston which is barely a block away (no shuttles needed!); there is a huge parking garage across the street so nobody was looking for parking; and have I mentioned how beautiful the space is? I wish I had a reason to throw a huge event again – I would go back to the Women’s Club every time. Huge thank you to Gretchen and her team! Also, the cost was very reasonable compared to other venues!

We worked with Gina and Julia from The Metropolitan, and everything went unbelievably smoothly. The venue was all-inclusive, which took a lot off of our plate, and literally nothing went wrong day-of, which we couldn't believe was possible. In terms of the wedding itself, the venue was perfect. The view from the Sears Tower was gorgeous, and we were able to take wedding photos on the sky deck. The food, both appetizers and entrees, was the best we've ever had at a wedding. Couldn't be happier with our decision!

We just had our wedding at The Library this past weekend and could not have been happier with our choice in venue. The stacks space is gorgeous, with a huge bar, pool table, and plenty of seating for cocktail hour & for guests that prefer a quieter space during the reception. The Library itself is stunning and our guests loved getting to go up on the balcony, the view from the massive windows, and all the amazing photo spots. If you book this space, it is not necessary to spend a ton on flowers and decor, as the space itself is stunning. The lobby also has that "wow" factor, with its amazing sculptures, ceiling height, and checkered floors. The fact that you get the entire floor to yourself is a huge plus, as this meant we could drop off venue items the day before, have a space to change and chill the day of, and move around in the back hallways to quickly get to the main event without our guests seeing us beforehand. The space also has a large bathroom space, with plenty of sinks, stalls, and even a large counter with a mirror for any touch-ups. We also loved that there was an entire bank of elevators dedicated to getting guests up to the 40th floor. Alia and the entire Library team was great and we would highly recommend this venue for a unique, memorable space to host your big event.

We had our Engagement Party, Rehearsal Dinner, and Welcome Party at The Union League (wedding at The Drake). Each event was absolutely exceptional and I cannot recommend ULCC enough. Ask for Carly as your event coordinator. She is incredible! Engagement Party: I have always dreamed of a ULCC Holiday Event, and my dreams came true with our Christmas Engagement Party. It was on the 7th floor and just incredible. Carly brought all of my dreams to life, including bringing Christmas decor into the room early (they don’t typically decorate the room until later in the season). Carly made sure every detail was as I expected and more, and also recommended some amazing vendors (guests still rave about the cake!). The bartenders kept the drinks flowing all night. We even stayed a couple of hours after the party ended, and the staff let us hang out in the room and get additional drinks from the bar downstairs. It was so kind! Everyone had the best time, we had some crazy stories, and it was one of the best nights of the entire engagement period (after the proposal and actual wedding). Rehearsal Dinner: Carly made sure every detail was perfectly set. My husband and I had a very specific vision: we wanted the rehearsal dinner to feel like a journey through our most memorable trips. Carly helped us with the menu selections (cocktails based on our favorite cities, foods based on our favorite destinations), flow of the evening (perfect timing for cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, etc.), and the layout of the room (this was the trickiest part!).  I wanted to have the room laid out to cleanly flow from the rehearsal dinner straight to the welcome party. It was difficult, because the room was so large, but Carly helped us brainstorm it all. We went through so many iterations, and she was patient with each. We’d ask, “Can we bring in other furniture?” And Carly would send photos of all of the sofas in the club. We’d ask, “Can we lay out the tables like this?” And Carly would send a floor plan with a recommendation. Then, we’d say, “Can we lay out the tables like that? And Carly would send another floor plan with additional notes. Welcome Party: There were so many unknowns (guest count, arrival times with an open house, what time rehearsal dinner speeches would officially end, etc.), but Carly handled them all with ease. She made it feel so seamless! But where Carly truly went over the top for me is - we had a vision of laying out themed desserts based on our favorite trips. For example, a pink and orange tart to represent Hilton Head Island’s sunrise, along with a photo of us on a trip to Hilton Head Island, and a story about experiencing the sunrise. Carly understood the vision, helped us to execute it, and even helped us to pick the perfect serve ware. We explained to Carly how we thought the tables should look, so she invited us to ULCC to view a few different options and laid out cocktail tables with all of their serve wear options. It was so over the top and helpful! At the end of the day, this type of service allowed us to pick our favorite things and make the perfect rehearsal dinner and welcome party. I truly loved every party of working with ULCC, from touring the venue, to the tasting, to the actual event. Then, we went back for a 6-month anniversary celebration. If you are at all thinking of doing an event at ULCC, you must! But the best part is - it doesn’t have to be a traditional wedding, they can make any event so memorable and special.

Biagio’s was the most perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we stepped into Biagio’s we were treated like family! Every little detail was absolutely perfect and they all went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special! Tracy was the best event coordinator and really made sure our day was perfect and stress free! I would highly recommend Biagio’s for any event!

My husband and I knew we wanted to get married at Chicago Illuminating Company several years before we were even engaged after seeing a picture of the venue on Instagram. It truly is one of the most beautiful venues in the entire Chicago area (and beyond) and is such a lush hidden gem in the middle of busy South Loop. Marta, the owner, is amazing. It was so helpful to be able to lean on her expertise and recommendations because she knows what works well in the space better than anyone. Both the indoor and (covered!) outdoor spaces are stunning in their own right so it was super easy and fun to add our personal touches. We really couldn't be happier with the experience and space. Highly recommend!!!
