Perfect in every way

We had a COVID-delayed wedding originally scheduled for 2020 and pushed by a year to 2021. We actually lucked out because the hotel underwent a renovation at that time so the ballroom was beautifully refreshed for our new date. We started planning our wedding in 2019 and our entire multi-year process with the team at the hotel was very professional, warm and helpful, and so flexible. Felt like five star hospitality all the way around.

We had many questions during the planning process and received prompt and thorough responses from Nicole, our coordinator. We had a number of requests including a specialty tequila bar, custom dishes on the menu, custom cocktail hour stations, and other day-of arrangements (including a complex traverse through the back of the hotel so no one would see me in my wedding dress between family photos and the ceremony) - all done without a hitch. We are big foodies and are happy to say the food and service were great. We loved that we could make use of the hotel property for multiple events outside of just the ballroom including Friday welcome drinks outside on their terrace, our ceremony in the terrace space under their beautiful greenery, cocktail hour on the private terrace near the ballroom, and Sunday “goodbye brunch” at Bourbon Steak. Each event of our wedding weekend felt both convenient and unique to have access to all of those spaces for just our guests. The guests who stayed at the hotel as part of our room block loved it. The Four Seasons just goes above and beyond to make everything easy and luxurious.

We are so thankful to Nicole and the rest of the team for making the best day/weekend of our lives feel so special. Of all our vendor selections, the Four Seasons was the best. Highly recommend.

Perfect Wedding Venue!!

I am so so happy that we booked the Four Seasons for our wedding. I can’t imagine having done our event anywhere else. Nicole and the entire team were an absolute dream. They were incredibly accommodating and so easy to work with.


The tasting with Nicole was so fun and all of the wedding food was delicious. Nicole was happy to work with us on our package, swapping a cocktail hour food station for passable light night food (which was a huge hit!). Several people also told us that it was the best cake they’d ever had a wedding.

For decor, we ended up using their tables, chairs, glasses, napkins, and flatware, which were all just as lovely as if we had rented. They let our other vendors come in on Friday to hang the draping / rig the lights, etc. We didn’t do a ton of decor outside of the ballroom, but the whole space for ceremony / cocktail hour looked phenomenal. Nicole and the staff were so thoughtful about the set up.


Finally, it’s obviously the Four Seasons, so the hospitality was impeccable. Every member of the staff was so incredibly kind to us and our guests and really went above and beyond to make everything perfect. When it came to our actual wedding, there were so many things big and small from Nicole / the hotel that made us feel so special and celebrated. We will never forget their hospitality.


Picking the Four Seasons was the second best decision we made for our wedding, behind hiring our planner. (We worked with Caroline Dutton Events, who has done many weddings at the Four Seasons and made the planning process seamless.)

World class service within an iconic DC hotel!

We were so fortunate to have the most incredible wedding day team at the Four Seasons Washington DC for our wedding on 10/30/21! Nicole was amazing throughout our wedding planning process and ensured every detail would be perfect for our wedding weekend. We were so lucky that the weather cooperated and were able to have our cocktail hour outside in the courtyard. It was the most beautiful space and had the perfect ambiance to kick off our wedding reception. Our friends and family are still talking about how wonderful the staff and hospitality was from our cocktail hour until the end of our wedding after party. The food was beyond DELICOUS and the amount of detail Chef and the entire team put into ensuring everything they served was unique to us was such a special touch. Rachid was also top-notch on our wedding day and made sure my now husband and I were taken care of throughout the entire evening! The hotel rooms were beautiful and extremely spacious – we would live there forever if we could! Nicole even upgraded our bridal suite room for the wedding day and made getting ready on the wedding morning so comfortable and luxurious for my large wedding party! We cannot recommend the Four Seasons Washington DC enough – thank you to the Four Seasons team for making our wedding day unforgettable and an absolutely wonderful stay throughout our long wedding weekend.

Wonderful Wedding Experience

We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Four Seasons Washington. Nicole and Sara were amazing to work with through challenges of rescheduling, and a long planning process. One thing you can't forget about the Four Seasons is their amazing service, and attentiveness to detail. Every detail from our tasting and walkthrough was amazing, and our guests raved about how amazing the hotel was. The bridal suite was amazing, and I loved being able to watch our guests come into the Courtyard for our wedding and the whole getting ready experience was amazing. Our reception was amazing, and we had someone who was responsible for making sure we were ok, Cheryl, and she was absolutely lovely. The food was AMAZING-- my dad said it was the best steak of his life. Additionally, they were super willing to personalize our menu, including making my grandmother's flan, a replica of a salad we always eat, and they were very attentive to our family's dietary restrictions.

The space is dreamy- from the courtyard for our ceremony, to the Seasons room- a ballroom with window and a little outside space, which is great in Covid times. We got a ton of compliments about the beautiful space and natural beauty of the property.

I have 0 regrets about having our wedding at the Four Seasons Washington, the day was everything I dreamed of and more. I really would love to get married again there, just because it was so lovely. We will be back to celebrate our anniversaries there, and are so pleased with how everything went, thanks to their amazing team.

Perfect Hotel for Our Minimony

The Four Seasons in Georgetown is an exceptional hotel in a great location! Sara Pumar is AMAZING and could not have been more helpful or supportive as our wedding coordinator!!! Sara really went above and beyond for us in trying to plan our minimony from LA and during the COVID pandemic. She is a high energy problem solver who is also kind and comforting when the unexpected inevitably occurs. Sara was incredibly accommodating to our every little and big request and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough! THANK YOU SARA for making our big day so special!!!

Simply amazing

Four Seasons Washington DC is absolutely the most hospitable, welcoming, and classic hotel for a wedding in the city. My sister had her wedding there several years ago as well, and both times, Four Seasons did not disappoint. Sara and Amy helped us plan the perfect wedding from start to finish, thought of every little detail, and made the entire process both simple and enjoyable. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable. Our family and friends are still gushing about how beautiful the hotel is and how nice the staff is. The location was perfect, as we had our ceremony at Georgetown University, and it offered all of M St and the surrounding area for out of town guests to explore during the weekend. I highly recommend this venue to others. There is a reason why Four Seasons is known as one of the best in the business. The service leading up to and during the wedding weekend was a true testament to their mission and values.

The best!

There are not enough stars to accurately rate the exceptional service and overall experience we had with the Four Seasons in Georgetown. Sara, Amy and the event team made us feel like royalty from our first visit. The process was seamless and stress free. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond are priceless. We visited several venues before this and zero after. Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. Very good value!

My Husband and I recently held our wedding at the Four Seasons, and we could not be happier with our decision. Nicole and Amy were fantastic to work with as they were so accommodating, available, and went above and beyond to make our day really feel like ours. They work with you every step of the way, and make sure everything runs smoothly. We had our ceremony and reception indoors due to the heat, which was fine because the conservatory was beautiful, and the ballroom looked stunning. They gave us a sneak peek of the ballroom before the rest of our guests came in, and it was elegant, classic, and everything we had envisioned. The food was incredible, and they were so sweet to go out of there way to make a special dish for me because I have a sensitive stomach. We encountered a good problem in that we fell below the food and beverage minimum, so we had fun choosing late night bites and a dessert bar, both of which were huge hits. Overall it was a wonderful experience, and we don't have enough words to say about how happy and grateful we are that The Four Seasons took such good care of us, and created a beautiful wedding that ourselves and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed.

We could not have been happier with our choice of using the Four Seasons for our March wedding. Weather in DC in March can be unpredictable, so we really wanted a venue that we could arrive to on Friday before the wedding and not need to leave the hotel until the Sunday following. We viewed multiple venues in the greater DC area and were surprised that the Four Seasons off-season pricing was fairly competitive. Although at the end of the day we probably spent more with them than we would have at other locations, we definitely got more, too. The Four Seasons provided us with a suite for Friday and Saturday night, all food and beverages, the wedding cake, the ceremony location, cocktail hour room, reception hall, a day-of coordinator, and brunch for our family friends the following morning. We had a LOT of out-of-town guests and far surpassed the room block allowance and the hotel willingly worked with us to accommodate everyone. We were expecting good food, but when we went to the food tasting we were blown away. I have celiac and they made sure I was able to try everything on the menu, including multiple kinds of cakes. The attentiveness of the staff was incredible. Honestly, every little thing was done so well I was blown away. Would 100% recommend this location, and working with Nicole Rachek. Negotiate what you want, but know at the end of the day that what you get WILL be worth what you paid for.

My husband and I were thrilled that we picked the Four Seasons for our August wedding. Caity Kanengiser was a pleasure to work with and made the wedding planning process so easy for us! We absolutely loved the tasting, and even came in for a separate cocktail tasting where my husband and I were allowed to chose our own speciality cocktail. I loved the Seasons room as the venue for the wedding. It was perfect for a summer day/night, and the Four Seasons transformed the room into my dream wedding space. The food was phenomenal, and the service at the dinner was excellent. The Four Seasons level of service exceeded all expectations for the entire wedding weekend; Caity even brought up sugar cookies with my husband's last name to welcome me to my bridal suite. She also was able to secure the Conservatory for the ceremony, which is a beautiful space. I highly recommend working with Caity and Four Seasons DC for your next special event, and I cannot wait to celebrate my anniversary at the Four Seasons next year.
