Hiring Sara was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. From vendor selection, to design, to communications, and execution, Sara was always THE expert, professional, our advocate, honest, and got to A++ results. She is full-service and we truly don't know how she did it all. At the end of the process, we are also so happy to consider her our friend.

Let's start with vendor selection. There are so many talented vendors in the NYC area. Sara made finding our vendor partners easy and enjoyable. We started by sharing inspiration photos and having lengthy discussions about what mattered most to us. Sara also always considered our personalities and of course, our budget. She then recommended 2-3 vendors of each type (florists, photo/video, bands) and would join us in meetings with each of them. She would then help us debrief, negotiate contracts, and ultimately hire each vendor. At the end of the process, we ended up with a fantastic roster of vendors with minimal stress. We were also SO CONFIDENT that these vendors would knock it out of the park in large part because Sara had worked with them repeatedly. As we once said to Sara, she's like the A.I. of wedding planning - she knows ALL. We always trusted Sara's judgement - from big picture design decisions to small details - she understood our vision and priorities from the get-go.

Beyond vendor selection, Sara was also involved in so many details. From dress shopping (both scheduling appointments and actually attending them), to invitation design, Sara was always there to support us. She was our advocate in all situations, and offered her expert advice throughout.

In writing this review, we've realized just how many details Sara was involved in:
- Planning our Friday night rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks (venue, florals, menu)
- Selecting our florist and designing the event
- Band selection and creative meetings
- Photo/video selection and creative meetings
- Lighting design
- Invitation design
- Gown shopping, selection, and fittings
- Furniture rentals - selection and coordination
- Food trucks - selection and coordination
- Room block organization
- Transportation
- Photobooth
- Dresser hiring
- Welcome box assembly and distribution
- And of course, day of on-site coordination with a full team of support

Then there's the week and day-of. Sara and her team ensured that our wedding weekend was flawless. There were so many last minute details and decisions (including weather uncertainty) and Sara handled it all without showing an ounce of stress. On the day of our wedding, Sara surrounded herself with a competent and kind team to execute both our vision and to keep us and our families cared for. We were able to truly relax and enjoy our big day because we knew Sara had it alllll under control. Two small examples of Sara going above and beyond: 1) When the bride and groom arrived at their rehearsal dinner, the strap of the bride's dress ripped off. Sara literally sewed it together in 3 minutes. 2) We had requested Joe's pizza to be served at our after-party. Our venue was outside of their delivery radius, so Sara organized for one of her assistants to pick-up a dozen pizzas at midnight and return with hot, delicious pizza in time for the party.

We could go on and on about why Sara is the absolute best. We love her and recommend her loudly and proudly to anyone getting married!

Sara was a pleasure to work with! She made us feel extremely confident that every aspect of our wedding day would go according to plan... and it definitely did! Her attention to detail is top notch. Sara made it easy to trust her and her talent (and that means a lot coming from someone like myself who doesn't like to relinquish control 😊). She is the epitome of calm, cool and collected. It was comforting to know we were in great hands from the day we hired her up until our big day. Sara, thank you again for everything!!

Sara Greenberg from FY Parties is more than just an event planner…a friend, a true professional, great designer, contract negotiator and amazing visionary for any event. There are many things someone can say about what they think about a planner, or what they get when they hire a planner or to be honest what they feel they can save by hiring a planner.
Sara is the single most significant decision we made outside of getting engaged. She was the glue that held our “covid” wedding together over 2 years, handled everything that a planner handles from last minute issues like signs, namecards, vendor meetings, kept us on a timetable, kept us in budget, kept parents informed and just made sure every vendor knew where to be and when. She kept people happy which isnt easy. Sara worked with us for 2 years...TWO YEARS as a planner, therapist and friend.
She knew problems before they came up and handled them before we heard about them. After covid we would assume planning a wedding is next to impossible without a planner but that’s not why you should hire Sara. You should hire her because without her your stress level will be 100x higher then if you have her by your side to help. She will be the person you reach out to when no one else knows what is going on. We could write more but there really isn’t a rating high enough for how good she actually is at this. If you aren't convinced you need a wedding planner, I was in the same boat. I was supposed to get married in August of 2020, and I was contemplating hiring someone as a 6-week out coordinator to help with the final wedding details. My family and I were at Mark Ingram to try on wedding dresses when we saw Sara talking to one of her brides. We were SO impressed with her calm nature, professionalism, and her knowledge of the industry. She seemed to have an answer to every question, but also wasn't afraid to say "I don't know, but I will find out!" It took a lot of convincing, but my mom encouraged me to talk to Sara and take her card. I had no intention of hiring a wedding planner, but after one phone call, I knew Sara would bring all of my visions to reality!

Sara is NOT a sales person looking to make an extra dollar. She went above and beyond to help keep things within budget, and thoughtfully explained which items are worth the price. She never pushes her own visions or style- she truly takes time to understand your vision, concerns, and personality, and then works to bring it all together. When I didn't want to pay our florist for extras (i.e. bathroom baskets), Sara offered to make them herself. She can do ANYTHING!

During COVID, Sara constantly checked in. She became one of my closest friends and confidants during this time and I am so grateful I have her in my life! She helped me completely replan my wedding, and somehow made me EXCITED to get married again. While most of my friends were stressed and filled with COVID dread while replanning weddings, I felt calm and protected with Sara on my team. She is smart, patient (I can be pretty indecisive) and quick on her toes to problem solve any surprises!

My family is so grateful for her guidance... my Dad literally dedicated the first part of his wedding speech to thanking Sara... Needless to say, she is not only the most incredible event planner, but she is an amazing person who will help make your event special and unique... NOW DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL HER IMMEDIATELY! If you are looking for a wedding planner and unsure if its worth it, let me tell you Sara is 1000% worth every dollar. She is superwoman and made our wedding an absolute dream. She was there to answer any questions, texts or calls i had. She was ontop of all of my vendors and made the wedding come together and be perfect. She is the best in the industry, hands down. The best decision I made is hiring Sara Greenberg/Forever Young Events!! From the first time I met Sara, she showed genuine care, knowledge and professionalism and I knew I could count on her to make my special day perfect. As some background, I am extremely particular, detail oriented and like to micro manage everything. I never trust anyone until Sara Greenberg came into my life. She surpassed all my expectations and gained my trust within the first week of the wedding planning. She gave me a list of all the best vendors and helped me with negotiating contracts and ensuring everything I needed was included. She created a timeline and checklist immediately to ensure all details were reviewed. She went ABOVE and BEYOND on all aspects of the planning. All of the little things I never had to think about because I trusted Sara to take care of it. She attended all the floral design meetings and gave very valuable input, came to my final dress fitting, and picked up special linen samples, and drafted our welcome note and gift bags for our of town guests. Sara Is truly a ONE OF A KIND individual. She is extremely knowledgeable on literally every aspect of planning a wedding. While she is also the most CARING, SUPPORTIVE and GENUINE person. She was always calm and collected which keep me grounded and at ease from the planning process to the wedding day. We had our wedding in October and every detail was perfect all due to Sara’s impeccable planning and efforts! Her team that she brought on the wedding day we’re extremely helpful from getting dressed in the morning to the photos to the dress touch ups and making sure we had everything we needed! At first, we didn’t think we needed a planner but then realized how important it was to have one in order to have our wedding day run smoothly. Sara came HIGHLY recommended to us by our friends. After having one phone conversation with her, we hired her on the spot! We hired Sara as a month of planner, but she was SO much more than that! Sara came to vendor appointments with us, handled all the communication between our venue and vendors, and went above and beyond her role as our month of planner. To even begin to write a review about Sarah and her team was hard because they are too incredible for words. When my daughter told me she was hiring a wedding planner, I told her it wasn’t necessary. I thought I could do everything she needed. THANK GOODNESS she hired Sara! In addition to all she helped with before the wedding, she was invaluable the day of our April wedding. Sara was at the venue early to check the grounds for our outdoor ceremony, made sure landscaping was exactly as planned (it wasn't - she fixed it), kept us on a timeline so everything ran smoothly, and turned into a florist to fix the elaborate floral piece on the stairs hung incorrectly. Sara helped with all the little things as well as the big things; she had everything we needed at her fingertips; and she worked with all our vendors the entire day so we could just relax and enjoy. There is no way I could have handled all she did.
Even though my daughter hired her, Sara answered every email and call from me. Not only was she focused on the bride, she was very attentive to this very nervous and excited mother of the bride. I highly recommend!!!
