We had such a great experience with Erica and her team for wedding coordination. During our first meeting, Erica put me at ease and I could tell I’d enjoy working with her. Once we started working with her, she provided a wide variety of vendor recommendations and an extremely helpful wedding planning guide. Throughout the planning process, whenever I had any questions, she responded quickly with her sage advice. On wedding day, Erica and Allanah made sure that my vision was executed! I didn’t have to worry about anything and really didn’t feel stressed because of how great of a job they did preparing leading up and the excellent coordination day of. Erica and her team did a phenomenal job with our wedding flowers! We were so happy with how they turned out. It was also so nice to be able to go into her studio to go over the florals before our big day and look over her HUGE selection of gorgeous vases and candle holders. Day of coordination was one of the first things we booked and I cannot imagine our wedding, or the year leading up to it, without Erica in it. She’s a wealth of knowledge, and she was always happy to help with anything we needed. My husband and I live in Seattle, and we got married in Ohio. With Erica being based in North Carolina, we didn’t meet her until the day before our wedding, but when I hugged her hello for the first time in real life I felt like we were old friends.
Erica ensured our wedding day ran smoothly so that I was able to really focus on enjoying the day. She is truly invaluable; we cannot recommend her highly enough!

Hiring Erica for full planning services was hands-down the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. Where do I start?? She went above and beyond in every way. She is super organized and consistently excellent with communications. Furthermore, she is a joy to be around— kind, creative, and always focused on the essence of what you want your celebration to be like. I loved her suggestions on how to make the day special and unique, blending the traditional and non-traditional seamlessly. Her inspiration/design boards blew me away, and I can’t believe how well she captured everything we wanted— when we didn’t even know what we wanted! I didn’t think anyone could care as much about the details or spend as much time trying to make everything perfect as I did, but she proved me wrong and I am forever grateful.

My girl friends commented throughout the weekend - “Erica is seriously on it! It’s so nice you can just relax and know she’s taking care of the details.” My ability to completely relax and take in the magic of our wedding weekend by trusting Erica would be “on it” is one of the many ways Erica was so amazing.

Erica went above and beyond for us from the moment we hired her through to our wedding day! She stuck by our sides every step of the process. Erica is very professional and organized. She is super warm, friendly, honest and wonderfully creative. Alex and I envisioned relatively simple decor and florals that blended into the natural landscape of our venue. We gave Erica our budget, and she honored and worked within it, bringing our unique vision to life in a way we never could have produced ourselves. She never pushed to add extras unless we requested. She made herself available and super easy to get in touch with by email or text. She accompanied us on venue and rental visits. She was very thoughtful in designing tricky floor plans for our ceremony and then reception. Her creativity enabled our 115 guests to participate in our ceremony in the round on a deck, then eat comfortably in a relatively small space in a barn, and enjoy dessert again on the deck under lights after the sun went down. It worked seamlessly.

Erica not only brillantly stage managed the show at our wedding, she created the most beautiful floral arrangements, acquiring most of the flowers locally. She made a unique arrangement for our sweetheart table and my cascading bouquet was simply gorgeous - just what I had envisioned.

Erica and her team were fabulous. During the whole planning process, I felt at ease. I was able to meet with Erica several times and she was very responsive via email/texts. The day of I was stress free and everything ran smoothly. Definitely glad I got a wedding coordinator and that is was Folie a Deux. She is very knowledgeable about the industry, especially triangle venues and vendors. Also, super creative! She is also just totally rad and not cookie-cutter which is what I was looking for :)

Erica was a great presence to have throughout our wedding planning process. She is extremely calming and made it easier to deal with the planning stress. She recommended several vendors and the online planning website she uses is super helpful!

* IMPORTANT* Our wedding was during Hurricane Florence and Erica never once let me worry about whether she was going to make it. She also followed up with all my vendors to make sure they would all make it!
I am so glad we hired Erica to coordinate our wedding. We had multiple skype and in person meetings prior to the wedding which were so helpful in creating a timeline, figuring out other logistics. She thought of every detail and made sure she knew how we wanted everything. Stephanie was her assistant on the day of our wedding and they were both great. The floral and design services offered by Folie a Deux are of course easier to show off via instagram and social media, but I am here to say that even for the nuts and bolts (logistics, coordination) of the day, Folie a Deux did a great job!

Full disclosure, I won a contest that included Erica's planning and floral services. Even if I had paid full price, I would still be raving about her. From the beginning, Erica made everything easy for me, our first consultation was at a brewery, and she was so responsive anytime I needed something or had a question. Because we eloped and had a non traditional wedding weekend, Erica had to do planning over a few days. She told me where I needed to be and when, what I needed to bring, and planned out a great bar crawl for us in Asheville. I did not have to worry about a single detail and would laugh when people asked me if I was stressed about the planning. The weekend of, she was there to hold my bags, hairspray me, and adjust my flower crown. At the reception, she was putting out food and creating a beautiful table set up. I could rant forever about how great she is on the planning end, but somehow, her floral designs are even better.

I eloped, so I didn't really have a color palette. I gave her pictures of my dress and my husband's suit and told her that I wanted in season and locally grown flowers, other than that, I trusted her. She surpassed all of my expectations. The bouquet for the courthouse was and boutonniere were full of rich and muted tones that coordinated perfectly with all of our clothes. For our shoot on the mountain, I had asked for a flower crown in addition to the bouquet. She nailed it yet again, coordinating everything perfectly and crafting a lush bouquet that fit the location and our personalities. The flower crown made me feel like a woodland fairy, and I wish I could wear it every day.

Long story short, Erica is incredible for her planning services, and her floral designs. If she happens to have an opening for your event, you should snatch it up. Above everything else, Erica is a warm and kind individual who treats EVERYONE with love and respect.
