We are an amazing duo of Humanist Celebrants who officiate weddings and mark milestones for ALL people. Cynthia Wooten is in our Wake Forest/Raleigh office and Kenna Covington is in our Charlotte office. We are thrilled to incorporate your ideas, desires, and any historical, familial, or cultural traditions you have. We are also very excited to create new traditions with you. We love working with fun couples to make a memorable and exciting wedding day.
Experience
Kenna and Cynthia are endorsed through the American Humanist Society to perform humanist, secular, non-religious, non-theistic, and inter-religious weddings. Cynthia is a poet and retired social worker from the San Francisco, California area. Kenna, an artist and part-time poet, has been marrying couples since 2014 and Cynthia has been marrying couples since 2016.
Services Offered
These wedding officiants are licensed in all states to perform couples’ weddings. They work with couples to create customized vows for their wedding, and any other customization the couples would desire. Nothing is too far for nc secular weddings. The average ceremony by these officiants ranges from less than 30 minutes, to 60 minutes. Couples can seek their services for rehearsals and vow renewals, as well as interfaith and non-religious ceremonies. They work with agnostic and non-denominational couples on their wedding day, no matter the couple’s background, race, or gender.
