Heather and her team were absolutely awesome when helping us plan our wedding. Heather is extremely knowledgeable and we were so lucky and grateful to have her event coordinating expertise for our wedding. We met a handful of times and sent countless emails back and forth. Heather was always very quick to respond to our questions and provided detailed resources to stay on track with planning. We enjoyed getting to know Heather and we would 10/10 recommend Heather and her team at Bonafide Events!

Heather, Jamie and Amanda were an incredible help both in the run-up to our wedding and on the day itself. We had a very non-traditional celebration, and Heather rolled with it and made sure everything came together just as we hoped. We are so grateful to the Bona Fide Events team!

Working with Heather was a big help for us. She is extremely experienced and seems to know everybody in the business in the Triangle area, so that saved us a ton of time looking around for vendors. She quickly matched us with vendors who were just perfect for what we were looking for. At the very last minute, we realized we'd forgotten to get table numbers and stands, and Heather literally drove to Michael's on our wedding day to get some. And she seemed completely unbothered - just handled it!

Working with Heather was a breeze. She's responsive, on top of everything and knows so many local vendors and venues; her relationships helped make the process so much easier and gave us tons of confidence. Heather was slightly more expensive than other coordinators we met with, but she also offers more support earlier than the average day-of coordinator and she was extremely attentive to our needs and our goals. It was fully worth the expense for us, and I would choose her again for any other event in a heartbeat.

From the moment we hired Heather to the final Wedding day, she kept everything so organized & positive. I was like a deer in head lights & feeling overwhelmed with all the planning but Heather kept me grounded. She asked all the important questions & gave great advice on things I know nothing about. She was on top of all the little things. My biggest goal during the wedding was to bye able to enjoy every moment. Because Heather is so good, her hard work & attention to detail, gave me such a joyous experience & I got to really soak in time with my husband & family. I highly highly recommend Heather & her team including the Amazing Jamie! I cannot rave enough. She also recommended our DJ, Florist, Tent & Rental Company who all turned out amazing! And! She kept everything on time all evening!

Heather was absolutely incredible to work with. She is so knowledgeable about all things Durham, excellent at letting you know what needs to be done and when, and making sure everything is running smoothly. It was such a huge stress relief to be able to work with her because we didn’t ever have to worry about what needs to be done and when - she does such a great job of keeping you on schedule! All of her vendor recommendations were excellent as well and she does such a good job getting to know you as a couple and making sure the day is perfectly built around you. We had the most wonderful time at our wedding and are beyond grateful for all of her help!

Everyone at Bonafide Events made our wedding experience super special and worth while. My husband and I were apprehensive about having a larger event for our wedding, but my mother found Heather to be our planner and we couldn’t have done it without her and her other staff. I would not bat an eye to hire the Bonafide Events team again. Even if we would’ve had a smaller wedding at our farm, if we had gone that route, it would’ve been a million times better. Heather is so knowledgeable and personable. They made our wedding day and our guest’s experiences’ a million times better, from the best caterers to the best local flower farm around. Heather/Bona Fide Events was fantastic to work with. We booked her wedding planning services for our wedding at The Haw River Ballroom. The staff recommended her, and I see why.

She was really familiar with the venue and all of the vendors which really helped the whole process run smoothly. She also recommended a florist and hair/makeup artist that I absolutely loved.

Bona Fide also provides a variety of service packages, which is really nice when you're trying to stay within a budget. We also had the option to add on additional services to our package if needed. The flexibility, services offered, and price points were better than the other wedding planners I checked out.

Heather is quick to respond to emails, made sure we stayed on track with our booking and planning timelines, and helped our wedding day run smoothly. She helped us curate a timeline that fit the vibe of what we wanted for the day. She also took over vendor coordination about two weeks before the wedding. We didn't have to worry about handling any last-minute or day-of details with any of them.

Aside from her ability to do her job well, she is a delightful person. She brought a lot of energy and joy to all of our meetings. I would highly recommend Bona Fide Events!
