Shari and the Events by Wise team did an outstanding job coordinating our wedding! During our first phone meeting, Shari earned our trust through her vast industry knowledge, innovative ideas, and general expertise. Although we hired her as a “day-of coordinator,” she was in contact for several months leading up to the event. This was incredibly helpful and offered more involvement than most other coordinators.

On the wedding day, their team was professional, understanding, seasoned, and efficient. Their great eye for decor and attention to detail elevated our vision and made it a reality. But the best gift was 100% peace of mind - we were confident that her qualified team would take care of everything and they exceeded our expectations. Not having to problem solve or offload coordination tasks onto our family/friends was priceless and allowed everyone to be present for our wedding. We can’t say enough about how phenomenal Shari is! We initially decided to purchase a full-service wedding planning package because we live out of state and were looking for guidance planning our wedding at The Maples. From our first conversation, Shari was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also enthusiastic about bringing our unique vision to life.

We had regular Zoom meetings throughout the months leading up to our wedding. Shari was always incredibly prepared and patient with us when we changed our minds on details. (We left every single call feeling more excited and somehow not stressed at all!) One thing we loved was that whenever we brought Shari ideas or inspo photos, she was able to translate those into tangible ideas/vendors and gather all of the pricing and logistical info for us to make a final decision. She made the daunting work of planning a big event feel EASY.

Our wedding came together beautifully and was truly the best day of our lives. Because we had so much trust and respect for Shari, we didn’t worry about a single detail other than being in the moment and enjoying the day. In fact—we only found out later that our bakery forgot(!) to deliver our wedding cake. She handled that situation behind the scenes like an absolute pro and before we knew anything was amiss, the cake was in place.

I had the most wonderful experience working with Events by Wise. I booked the horse trailer for the bar and had two other events staff working during our wedding at the Lone Wulff Ranch. We had the most AMAZING time! The bar was incredible and we loved our bartenders and the staff! They were all smiles, super helpful and were laughing with our guests and just having themselves a great time! Shari was also super helpful when I had questions about vendors recommendations and last minute details concerning the wedding. Shari and her team are amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about Events By Wise! I reached out to Shari almost exactly a year before our wedding to see if she was available. One of the things that instantly drew me to Shari was her warm personality and her obvious love for weddings. I didn’t feel like just another client, but that I met with someone who genuinely wanted our wedding day to go as smoothly as possible.

I hired her as our Month of Coordinator almost immediately after meeting with her. She provided us with all the tools necessary to set us up for wedding planning success and even reached out about COVID restrictions throughout the planning. She was extremely easy to get a hold of and got back to all of our questions quickly.

Unfortunately, Shari wasn’t able to join us due to another wedding commitment (we missed celebrating with you!), but left us in the hands of Lindsey, who flawlessly executed all the plans that I had discussed with Shari. One of the best things we did for our wedding day was hire Shari from Events by Wise. Events by Wise had a variety of services to offer. I’m a pretty organized person so all I needed was someone I could trust to handle our big wedding guest list of 300. We hired Shari for Day of Coordination. I initially booked Shari a few months before my late summer wedding (September 2016). We meet with her numerous times before the wedding and were able to bounce ideas off each other. She understood perfectly what we needed from her and made everything happen. Four days before my wedding, tragedy struck my family and we lost my grandfather unexpectedly. It was a huge loss to my family and the wedding was immediately postponed. Because of this, Shari took on contacting all our vendors to postpone their services for us so we didn’t have to. This was a huge relief so I could focus on my family’s needs. When the grieving passed we contacted Shari about rescheduling her for an April 2017 Wedding. We were happy and grateful to hear that she was available for our new day. Our April wedding came and Shari, with her staff, did a phenomenal job! They were friendly, thoughtful, professional, and capable. She made our wedding day feel like the breeziest day of our lives. We might have been the biggest wedding she’s coordinated but it didn’t show, so for that, 5+ stars for the incredible attention to detail, ease and timeliness of communication, and genuine commitment to ensuring everything was taken care of behind the scenes. One of the advantages to booking her is that Shari has props and materials that she made available to us. We needed a backdrop for our sweetheart table and she offered her vintage doors and ladder. This was the perfect look I wanted. We can't emphasize enough how impressed we were with Shari, and how grateful we were to have found her. We would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone.

Shari and her staff did the most amazing job with our wedding staffing this past weekend! They were so helpful and efficient with our events specific needs. I would 100% recommend using their services. Shari was a great help with some planning concerns and was so helpful in the development process. I loved working with them!

Shari and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding a day to remember. She paid special attention to each and every detail whether they were small or big. From helping find our vendors, designing our flower arrangements and coming up with a time schedule for the wedding day itself her team truly was a blessing. Events by wise helped me plan my weeding from start to finish! They are the best!! I trusted them to handle everything on the day of my wedding so I could just enjoy my day and not stress!! Truely amazing to work with!!

We hired Shari as our month of coordinator for our May wedding. In the beginning, she seemed great. She met us for a venue walk through and promised to make our event outstanding. We had our month of meeting with her once we paid in full. We talked about all the details and laid out what our day would look like. Shari promised us a beautiful dessert display and made us believe she would exclusively be coordinating our wedding. Three days before our wedding, she informed us that two of her employees would be taking over. They had never been at any of the meetings and Shari wasn't even able to provide me with their information. I was unable to contact them until the day of the rehearsal.
This was a new venue for both coordinators. They seemed lost, disorganized, and had to keep referring to the notes provided for them. The owners of the venue said they would not use the walkie talkies provided. This caused me to be a half hour late due to miscommunication.
Luckily, I decorated most of the venue myself. The guestbook table was thrown together, and the dessert table was nothing as promised. The flower girl basket my daughter was supposed to walk down the aisle with (and had sentimental value) was never provided by the coordinators.
We had numerous complaints from vendors, especially about the timeline not being followed. We were rushed through the cake cutting because the coordinators failed to start the speeches on time.
They did a great job cleaning up and did the best they could with the limited time they had to prepare. If Shari were to include her employees in the lead up meetings, it would help events run a lot smoother.
