When we first started wedding planning, the process was overwhelming. After meeting with a few potential wedding planners, we decided to go with Rosie from Rose to the Occasion for full wedding planning. From the start, she was friendly, communicative, and organized. We met regularly, and she helped break down the tasks needed to plan this major event. Every meeting, there would be a pre-planned agenda, and after every meeting, we were asked to do some homework. For example, this could mean looking over her recommendations for vendors and providing feedback, gathering our guest contact info, or making decisions about certain details. Of course, this was indeed homework—and homework is not typically fun especially when it’s on top of a stressful full time job—but it was very helpful for Rosie to break down the decision-making process as a project manager. Between meetings, we were able to ask her questions and get her thoughts by texting, and her experience and knowledge of wedding planning best practices were invaluable.

On the day of the wedding, Rosie and her team managed the complex logistics involving our timeline, the flow of guests, and the management of vendors (photographer, florist, DJ). Rosie and her team made sure the event ran smoothly, despite the inevitable hiccups that arose. We highly recommend her as a wedding planner—or planner for any event—and thank Rosie for doing a great job!

Rose was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond in every way…always responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. When it unexpectedly was going to rain on our wedding day, she stepped in without hesitation and essentially re-planned our entire event within three days. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. Everything turned out beautifully and seamlessly, and that’s entirely because of her hard work and organization. I cannot recommend her enough for any event!! You will be in the best hands!

Rose and her team were amazing to work with and absolutely executed our wedding without a hitch. From the first conversation, Rose was a pleasure to talk with and her calming nature and experience were invaluable to helping guide us through the many intricacies of wedding planning and helped minimize our stress. Rose was very available to us for questions and we met several times throughout the months preceding the wedding. We had a very DIY wedding and Rose's team were able to help with many different and odd tasks. I initially had some doubts if the multiple team members would be necessary on the day, but they turned out to be essential to getting everything done well and on time. We certainly feel that Rose's service is well worth the price and can't recommend her highly enough.

Rosie & her team were EXCELLENT. August 2024 bride here, and Rosie, Christine and the entire team made our wedding a night to remember. As a super type A bride who was also on a budget, having a 230+ person wedding, and had a lot of DIY elements to the wedding, the Rose to the Occasion team was in charge of over 500 individual pieces of candles, hurricane vases, flowers, welcome table items, candy bar items...the list goes on and on. After the wedding weekend, we unpacked everything and every single item came back to us....every. single. one. Christine was our lead coordinator and she worked so hard - her clipboard of schedule and shot list kept us moving all day long and we were EARLY. When is a wedding ever running EARLY!? This allowed us extra time to eat and enjoy....I ate my own food at my wedding!! And that's all thanks to Rosie and Christine and team. I cannot say more amazing things, this team of ladies absolutely ran the show, took care of every single need, and ran from church to hotel to venue whenever anything was needed. The entire time they were cool as cucumbers and lovely to my entire bridal party. When the only snafu of the day occurred (unfortunately a miscommunication on our part, not the fault of Rosie's team), Christine immediately ran off to comfort my mother. This is a team of caring and highly organized individuals who held our hand from the 40 day takeover on and executed our wedding day to perfection! We absolutely could not have done it without this team. I would not trust my day to anyone else, they were AMAZING!! THANK YOU ROSIE, CHRISTINE AND TEAM!!

Rosie and her team handled our event so smoothly; my wife and I were able to truly experience our special day fully. Our wedding was the best day of our lives to-date, and that’s mostly thanks to the careful and efficient coordination of Rose to the Occasion.

My wife chose all the vendors, venue, décor, and other details, and when the month of our wedding came around, we were able to hand-off all our compiled details and contact information to Rosie via a Zoom call. Rosie met with us to review the details with our wedding ceremony and the wedding reception venue’s staff. She is very knowledgeable of wedding traditions and events and helped us understand and choose what to integrate into our wedding. It was very important to us that our coordinator was knowledgeable of Filipino culture and traditions to help us properly integrate the right traditions, in addition to ensuring our guests could relate, resonate, and listen to our chosen coordinator. It was so refreshing to casually integrate things like “Filipino time” without needing to explain it.

The whole wedding day itinerary was safe and sound in Rosie and team’s capable hands.

Rosie was with my wife at the start of the day to keep the bridal party organized and direct the photographers and videographers for the “Getting ready” shots. Rosie’s team (two additional assistants) set up the décor at the ceremony venue and assisted the reception staff to set up as well. Rosie ensured all vendors were timely and able to perform their duties within their pre-determined windows. Rose to the Occasion kept all the guests organized (despite all the last-minute changes) and informed of where to go, and details such as phones off during the ceremony, etc.
At the reception, it felt like Rosie was omnipresent – always by our side when we needed her, and overseeing the operation when we were occupied with the current circumstance. Rosie was always available to answer our questions and calm our nerves throughout the day. Neither my wife nor I had to worry about anything other than following Rosie, she knew the schedule and kept us on track.

Overall, our wedding was incredible and that’s largely thanks to Rosie and the team at Rose to the Occasion. She left such an impact on us, in fact, we felt so lost without her after the wedding. The team is just that amazing. We highly recommend her for all wedding events.

About 3 months out, I decided to get a day-of coordinator. And honestly, I wish I had hired her from the start to help with all the planning.

From our very first interaction, Rosie was sweet and professional and really helped me a lot the weeks leading up to the wedding and especially the day of!

My venue advertised that it came with a coordinator, but I decided to work with Rosie as I wanted some help and extra hands during the getting ready. And she did that and more. Some things that really helped me out:
- The month before, they did a "takeover" so I handed over all the details so that she can follow up with all the vendors
- I realized super last minute I didn't have the ceremony as buttoned-up as I would like as I had a friend officiate so she gave me sample ceremony outlines (and it helps that she understood which cultural meanings I wanted to include)
- Our transportation folks were late and she handled it all
- She had extra glue because one eyelash kept coming off all day

Her and her team were truly the best support system on the wedding day and I would recommend them to everyone. And the price was VERY fair!
