At Events by Pamela Joy, officiating is all about creating a ceremony that feels authentic, meaningful, and uniquely yours. Together, we’ll thoughtfully craft a personalized ceremony script that reflects your love story, your values, and the journey that brought you here.
Based in Pelham, I proudly officiate weddings throughout New England and beyond. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering, an elegant celebration, a vow renewal, or a special ceremony welcoming a new child into your family, I will work closely with you to create a heartfelt experience you and your guests will always remember.
I spent more than 37 years in the wedding industry before becoming an officiant during Covid — what I lovingly call my “Covid pivot.” Missing my couples and the joy of wedding celebrations, I became ordained and had the privilege of marrying several couples during that time. From that moment on, I knew officiating was exactly where I was meant to be.
People often ask why I love officiating so much. The answer is simple: I truly love celebrating love stories. There is nothing more meaningful than standing with a couple, sharing the ceremony we created together, and witnessing the joy, emotion, and connection in the room.
I offer Religious, Non-Religious, Spiritual, Interfaith, and Themed ceremonies — each one thoughtfully designed to reflect the couple at the center of it all. No matter the style of ceremony you envision, I will work with you to make it personal, memorable, and filled with heart.

The wedding celebration planned by Pam was one of the most beautifully coordinated events we've played music for! Held on an orchard, special touches included red accents (inc. bridesmaids' gowns) echoing the ripe apples on the trees. Pam had TWO coordinators overseeing everything, including the ceremony's processionals, which proceeded in perfect timing.
I have done many weddings with Pam over the years and she truly knows what she's doing. She works with the other vendors rather than telling the other vendors what to do and ensures everything goes according to plan. You simply cannot go wrong with Pam at your wedding!
