The Montague Retreat Center is a hidden gem nestled in the rolling hills of the upper Pioneer Valley. From single-day events to full wedding weekend events, there are countless ways to put a personal stamp on your wedding! We offer both indoor and outdoor spaces across our expansive land.
Our lush Ceremony Circle, nestled up to the apple orchard, sits beneath one of the oldest maple groves in Massachusetts, with a stunning view across the valley. Our Stone Patio features a permanent 40’ x 50’ reception tent and a 75’ long retaining wall/bench. Our elegant, rustic Great Hall Barn has chestnut beams, bamboo floors, lots of glass, and geothermal cooling.
Since 2022, our couples have worked with our exclusive in-house caterer, Wheelhouse. Some of our other amenities include on-site accommodations, a wedding lounge, a yurt, an ADA-compliant lift, and accessible restrooms. A 10 person hot tub will be added in the fall of 2024, sitting atop of the foundation of the silo, overlooking our southern facing slope down to the Mill River. Two streams run through the property, and the Robert Frost Trail is within walking distance. Our bridal suite, the mountain view suite has a 9' wide window overlooking the valley. In addition to our 3 new beautiful Cabin Retreats on site, we have added options for in house floral design. The Montague Retreat Center hosts weddings from May through October.
We are currently accepting inquiries for the 2025 & 2026 Wedding Season and will be scheduling tours during the week.
