Crissey Farm, a banquet hall in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, hosts beautiful rustic Berkshire Weddings in a classic, charming setting. A nod to the land it was built on, Crissey Farm is a new construction built in 2008. From 1850-1950 the land was a modern dairy farm. Now Crissey Farm also owns and operates it's well established brewery (1995) adjacent to the venue, Barrington Brewery, which provides fresh craft beer for their wedding guests. This venue sits at the base of Monument Mountain, offering beautiful mountain views and is conveniently located adjacent to several hotels and motels.


Facilities and Capacity
Up to 200 guests can join couples for their wedding at Crissey Farm. With a large interior banquet hall, couples have the option to host their wedding ceremony indoors or outside on the flat green lawn in front of a romantic screened pergola that's decorated with flowers and ivy. Inside, couples can wed in front of the stone fireplace. The indoor space also accommodates receptions, where exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings give the room a simplistic and rustic vibe.

The chef at Crissey Farm uses in-season, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible to create a variety of American, French, Italian, local, Mediterranean, Mexican and southern dishes. The kitchen is also able to cater to dietary restrictions such as gluten free, lactose free, no pork, nut free, organic, vegan and vegetarian requests. Look no further for the perfect Rustic Berkshires Wedding!!!

We searched for over a year for our wedding venue, but kept finding there was a major disconnect. Mainly, we noticed how many venues made us feel like we were unimportant, with strict rules and limited opportunities to make it our own. However, from the very beginning, Crissey Farm understood and supported our vision. For instance, we really wanted long tables for the reception, which was a problem elsewhere, but Crissey Farm was more than happy to accommodate without additional fees. The food was incredible, the open bar was amazing, and we had so much fun! (We even were able to have a great after- party next door!)

Best wedding venue in the Berkshires!

We can’t thank Chelsea and Gary enough for making our day perfect. From the start, they were kind, flexible, communicative, and made us feel so comfortable. From setting out decor to keeping us on schedule to beat the rain, everything was perfect. The food was amazing. Having food and dessert included in the cost was a life saver and so reasonably priced! We would recommend Crissey Farm to all couples!

Would do it again in a heartbeat!

From the start Chelsea and Gary made our wedding individualized and perfect. Every accommodation was met with ease. If we were to do our wedding again, there would be no doubt in my mind it would be at Crissey Farm!

Crissey Farm is truly a magical place. Gary and Chelsea made our wedding so special. They were professional, accommodating and hospitable. Our guests loved the food and also having our after party at the cozy restaurant's bar. If you're looking for the perfect spot for a special occasion or just a great meal and a pint, look no further.

Definitely Have Your Wedding at Crissey Farm

Just a phenomenal experience. The venue flawlessly handled a variety of functions and services that are typically handled by other vendors (food and drink, tableware, waitstaff) at an incredibly reasonable rate. They were super flexible and collaborative when it came to the overall vision of the ceremony and reception, and worked seamlessly with the few additional vendors we employed. Even when a few unexpected hiccups occurred at the last second, the venue was more than understanding and eager to help come up with solutions. Throughout the entire process, Chelsea and Gary were thoroughly transparent, easy-going, and just an overall pleasure to work with. We simply could not have asked for a better working experience, nor a more perfect wedding. Thank you, Crissey Farm. This was the most beautiful day of our entire lives, and the memories at your beautiful venue will forever glow warmly in the hearts of everyone who attended.

The Dream Father Daughter Duo

We only looked at one wedding venue when searching, and that was Crissey Farm. Once our tour finished, we already knew that we wanted to get married there. Gary (the owner) was so warm and welcoming, the venue was just what we were looking for, hotels right across the street and also adjacent to Barrington Brewery! Which if you haven’t been, has amazing food and great beer. We felt so confident in this decision that we canceled our other venue tours and put our deposit down the next day.

During the wedding planning process, Chelsea, (Gary’s daughter, manager and day of coordinator) was extremely organized, thorough and always prompt to answer any questions we had. 

By the time we had our final wedding meeting with both Gary and Chelsea, we left feeling so much more at ease. 

I walked in with many questions (I’m a very particular person) and by the end of our meeting, I didn’t have any left since they answered them so well.

Fast forward to our wedding day, it was perfect! However, without Chelsea, it would’ve had a few hiccups. She worked her magic and adjusted things on the fly. Her expertise in this area is remarkable. We seriously can’t speak highly enough about her. You’ll find her everywhere, serving, behind the bar during a rush, helping guests, the list never ends. Gary was also present the entire day and was a huge helping hand. We rented the shuttle extra time so our bridal party could get to photos, our friends had a blast with Gary and his jokes. Not to mention, the food was amazing! Our guests keep raving to us about it even three weeks later. 

We then had our after party at Barrington Brewery. It was perfect! Our guests were able to walk right over once the reception ended, and kept the party going! Plus we had the Crissey Farm shuttle running until 1 am to get our guests back to where they were staying safely. 

This father daughter duo is truly a dream team. My husband and I highly recommend Crissey Farm and can’t thank them enough for all they have done to make our special day that much more special!

Wonderful People to Work With

Chelsea at Crissey Farm was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the year planning the wedding, and during the event. The food was excellent; we are foodies and this surpassed our expectations. Beautiful setting! Can only say positive things about the low-stress, high quality nature of this place for a wedding, and their responsiveness during the process when we wanted to do creative things.

Fantastic place to get married

Crissey Farm made our wedding absolutely magical. The space is lovely, the food was delicious, and Chelsea's thoughtfulness and thoroughness made everything run smoothly. If you want your guests to eat well, get married here--everything tasted amazing, and they were able to accommodate a wide variety of food allergies and needs. (Try the chocolate stout cake!) Our wedding was also a little logistically complicated, and Crissey Farm made it all work with style, ensuring that everyone had an amazing time. We very much recommend getting married here, and plan on returning to the adjoining Barrington Brewery for dinner whenever we're in the area.

So supportive and very helpful!

I had a very untraditional wedding and they helped me incorporate everything I wanted and things I didn’t know about!! I’m only 22, so I’m a young bride and did not know exactly what to do for a wedding, especially since I was planning it on my own! Chelsea was the best!!!
