We searched for over a year for our wedding venue, but kept finding there was a major disconnect. Mainly, we noticed how many venues made us feel like we were unimportant, with strict rules and limited opportunities to make it our own. However, from the very beginning, Crissey Farm understood and supported our vision. For instance, we really wanted long tables for the reception, which was a problem elsewhere, but Crissey Farm was more than happy to accommodate without additional fees. The food was incredible, the open bar was amazing, and we had so much fun! (We even were able to have a great after- party next door!) -

Best wedding venue in the Berkshires!
We can’t thank Chelsea and Gary enough for making our day perfect. From the start, they were kind, flexible, communicative, and made us feel so comfortable. From setting out decor to keeping us on schedule to beat the rain, everything was perfect. The food was amazing. Having food and dessert included in the cost was a life saver and so reasonably priced! We would recommend Crissey Farm to all couples! -

Crissey Farm is truly a magical place. Gary and Chelsea made our wedding so special. They were professional, accommodating and hospitable. Our guests loved the food and also having our after party at the cozy restaurant's bar. If you're looking for the perfect spot for a special occasion or just a great meal and a pint, look no further. -

I had a very untraditional wedding and they helped me incorporate everything I wanted and things I didn’t know about!! I’m only 22, so I’m a young bride and did not know exactly what to do for a wedding, especially since I was planning it on my own! Chelsea was the best!!! -

Crissey Farms was perfect for our wedding of 150 guests. It allowed us to feature both an indoor and outdoor space that seamlessly flowed into each other. The food far exceeded our expectations, and was extremely reasonably priced. Chelsea and Gary are excellent to work with, are very thoughtful and experienced, and responsive. Chelsea also serves as a great day-of coordinator, which was a huge help to us. We were able to host our welcome party and after party at Barrington Brewery, their other/attached location, which made for a lot of fun variety for the wedding weekend. There are a bunch of good hotels in walking distance, which reduces the complexities of shuttling guests back home after the wedding. Also ample overflow parking which makes it easy for guests to travel in from out of town and leave their car overnight if needed. Plenty of room to put up our 30x60 foot tent in the outdoor area for the ceremony. Staff was all extremely helpful, organized, and detail oriented. And to boot, its extremely reasonably priced for what it offers/the northeast region. Can't recommend them enough. -

There's no way I'm going to remember everything I appreciated about the coordinators at Crissey Farm, but I'm going to do my best.
Having your ceremony & reception venue, catering, cake and day-of coordinator all coming as part of this package is INCREDIBLE. I didn't have to worry about tables, linens, chairs, hors d'oeuvres, the bar, everything was taken care of on site. They, having done this so many times, were able to make suggestions that truly enhanced our experiences and the experiences of the guests. It made everything SO easy.
Additionally, we had to reschedule twice because of Covid and honestly the process could not have been easier. They made themselves available for quick video calls where we picked new dates. They let us know what times were available and we just bumped ourselves down the line.
On top of all of this the professionalism lead to a perfectly executed day. I didn't have to worry about anything. Chelsea was there to handle the schedule and keep things moving and I just go to hang back, sip champagne, and show up when I was called for. It gave me freedom and flexibility to chat with all my guests and truly enjoy every single second of this celebration.
They made my wedding so easy that now, on the on the other side of it, I do not understand why people get stressed about weddings. I can not recommend them more.

Crissey farm
All of our guests said the food was amazing!! And I totally agree. We had to change many things about our wedding due to COVID, but Chelsea and Gary at Crissey Farm STILL managed to give me the best day of my life! They made sure everyone was socially distanced, brought out the food (covered) so that everyone's meal was kept safe from air and germs, and played all of our music (first dance, parents dance) since I couldn't have a dance floor or DJ. Chelsea made it all happen and it seemed effortless! (But I know it took a lot of hard work.) They followed all the guidelines to provide safety, but also managed to keep a fun and loving atmosphere. I'm sure they do an even better job when we aren't in the middle of a global pandemic. So blessed they still hosted my tiny wedding, we greatly appreciate it. -

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we cannot vouch for how delicious the food is here, but the many other glowing reviews should suffice. Even though the pandemic interrupted our Summer 2020 wedding plans at Crissey Farm, we feel our experience with Gary and Chelsea is just as important to share as those who were lucky enough to actually get married there.
Due to the pandemic and ongoing restrictions, our wedding at Crissey Farm could not occur the way we had envisioned it and for personal reasons postponing was not an option for us. While the conversation we had with Gary and Chelsea about cancelling our event was heartbreaking, we feel the agreement we reached was more than fair. More importantly, our experience with Crissey Farm, versus the horror stories we’ve heard from many others, highlights their strong moral character and professionalism. Despite all the hardships faced by their business due to the pandemic, it was clear they still had our best interest in mind. For such an important (and expensive) day, trusting that your venue runs their business with your best interests in mind is invaluable. While our day at Crissey Farm wasn't meant to be, we would recommend this venue to anyone without hesitation. -

We had the most stunningly beautiful fall Berkshire wedding and Crissey Farm was at the heart of it all. From the first time we met with Gary and Chelsea, we knew we had found our perfect venue. The weather cooperated and we were able to have the ceremony outside, however the indoor option in front of the gorgeous stone fireplace brought such peace of mind. With 110 guests, I was concerned about feeling lost in the space. I needn’t worry as they created the most cozy and intimate reception with plenty of space for all or of guests to get their groove on. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The setup and breakdown of the decor went super smooth. Loved the finishing touches Chelsea put on the space after our rehearsal run through. The icing on the perfect venue cake was the attached brewery next door and how easy it was to shift our party there for the after party. Pool tables, jukebox, pizza and local beer was the perfect way to end our perfect day. -

We had an amazing experience working with the team at Crissey Farm to make our wedding a reality. The space is beautiful, and thanks to Chelsea and her team we were able to do a unique seating arrangement. I can't say enough about how delicious the food was and all of our guests commented on it. We had certain aspects of our ceremony and guest list that were unique (including individuals who were mobility impaired) and the space was so accommodating and inviting for all. In terms of convenience for a Berkshires wedding you can't beat Crissey. Right in downtown Great Barrington which has many attractions and amenities for your guests and close to local lodging. Honestly can't say enough about how wonderful this venue is and the excellent experience we had there. -

Exactly what we wanted for our wedding day!
Where do I begin!!! Chelsea and Gary were so easy to work with and accommodating! The venue was perfect from the cleanliness, staff, and the absolutely delicious food! I would recommend Crissey Farm for any type of party! They made our wedding day perfect! -

Amazing hosts
Chelsea and Gary are amazing hosts. Our daughters wedding, this past weekend, was herald as a fantastic event be every guest.
Their planning and organization skills made the whole weekend run smoothly and professionally.
The food is wonderfully prepared, seasoned well and plentiful. Appetizers included delicious grilled vegetables, great assortment of cheeses and passed horsedouvers.
The prime rib, cooked in a variety of donenesses for every taste. Chicken marsala, flavorful and tender. Vegetable lasagna with a white sauce and vegetarian rice for our family with dietary requirements.
Wedding cake was delicious and they include a Viennese table.
Nice outdoor space for the ceremony, great indoor space for dancing and reception. -

I think it’s safe to say that Crissey Farm MORE than exceeded our expectation for our wedding day!! We don’t even know where to begin to explain how amazing our wedding day was, not just because of our amazing vendors, but because of Crissey Farm who was at the forefront of the entire wedding day. From our initial visit, to the planning meeting and through the entire wedding weekend with set up and breakdown, Chelsea and Gary were just absolutely AMAZING to work with!! The whole process was so smooth. Not to mention the entire Crissey Farm team including the Chef, baker, set up team and waiters who were so attentive the entire night from set up to breakdown. Every single detail Zach and I wanted was incorporated, when we walked into the venue we just couldn’t believe how perfect everything came together. People always tell you that weddings are so stressful, but to be quite honest Crissey Farm was so organized and on top of everything that we were not nervous or stressed for a minute the weekend of our wedding!! Everything fell into place so perfectly all thanks to the Crissey Farm team! It’s been a month since our wedding day and our guests are still raving over every little detail from the amazing open bar, to the mouthwatering appetizers, to the breath taking displays of food and delectable desserts our guests just couldn’t get enough!! And I quote “that carrot cake was out of this world!” and “those cannoli’s were the best I have ever tasted” from literally every wedding guest. When the steamship roast came out people were in awe and could not stop talking about how awesome the food was! Our guests kept saying how at most weddings they go to the food is mediocre and they never feel satisfied. All of our guests had multiple servings and just kept saying how delicious everything was including the mashed potatoes, eggplant rollatini, string bean almondine and the super yummy chicken asiago. They were literally crowd pleasers!! This was a destination wedding for us so most of our guests decided to stay overnight, but we still had a few guests that had just planned to go home that night, but Crissey Farm made our wedding such a killer party that people were booking hotels at the last minute just to enjoy the wedding until the very end of the night which was like 2AM. Aside from the venue, Crissey Farm opened the brewery for us to throw an after party for our guests where we were able to bring in a pizza truck for our quests, enjoy some music, drinks and keep the party going!! It was absolutely amazing to be able to be with our guests for the entire night!! Everyone just loved it!! We could not have chosen a more perfect venue and will be recommending Crissey Farm to every couple we know for the wedding!! No better place to have a wedding in the Berkshires!! :) -

Perfect Berkshire Wedding - Best Wedding Decision
We LOVE Crissey Farm!!!
From the second we reserved our spot with Crissey Farm we knew it was the right decision. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately. Any concerns or visions we had for the big day, Chelsea and Gary made it happen. Crissey Farm was by far the best choice for quality as well as VALUE! Anything we dreamed they could do it, (including homemade cannolis as one of our desserts)! We also asked Chelsea to provide welcome refreshments for our guests like apple cider. Not something they usually do, but they happily accommodated us. Our food was absolutely PHENOMENAL! It was so hard to choose there were so many options!!
Our guests loved the crab cakes and the unique selection of salsas and guacamole! Everyone loved the Steam ship Roast and I still have dreams about it! Watching that GIANT roast get wheeled out was a sincere highlight of the evening! We loved it all and actually found time to eat thanks to Chelsea and Gary’s perfect planning.
There were so many beautiful spots for photos and our first look!! Our pictures came out so beautiful we could not have been happier! We were also able to use the upstairs bridal suite to hang out, get ready, and stay cool on a hot Fall day. The room was gorgeous and Chelsea made sure we had everything we needed… all day long. She also made sure all the wedding day decorations (I did a lot of DIY) were in the perfect place and exactly how I hoped they’d be. Everywhere I looked was like a dream realized! Chelsea made me feel like I had absolutely Nothing to worry about which is exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day.
One of the coolest parts of the day… was knowing after the wedding was over, all our friends could enjoy a nice deli sandwich and delicious beers in the Barrington Brewery (RIGHT next door) for a post wedding after party. We had the entire upstairs to hang out play pool and listen to some awesome music. It was a such a blast and a PERFECT way to end the night!
SIDE NOTE: Somewhere in the middle of the dancing, Chelsea found me. She told me a couple who was supposed to be married (on the same day) was in the bar. They evacuated North Carolina because of the hurricane. She asked if they could have a dance? She knew I was a romantic person and that I would of course say yes! That couple… got to have their first dance after all. If anyone KNOWS who this couple is. (I will post a photo!) please let Chelsea and Gary at Crissey Farm know so we can send them the picture! It was such a magical moment and all of our guests were blown away!
Thank you again Crissey Farm (Gary and Chelsea!) This review is the least I could do to express just how wonderful working with you has been! Crissey Farm is the best option for a beautifully scenic yet intimate wedding in the Berkshires. I recommend 118%.. A+++. Best decision we’ve ever made!!!

Chrissy Sent on 07/05/2016Crissey Farm is a fantastic location and the only place we wanted for our wedding reception! My husband and I (as well as my parents) could not have been happier! As I was living in California, the groom was in Canada and my parents were the only local residents, we could not have asked for better customer service from Gary and Chelsea. We also have not stopped receiving compliments about the food made by Chef Odille. Even the wedding cake was more delicious (and beautiful) than we could have ever imagined. The venue is beautiful on its own, and the provided linens added just the right touches. We had both a DJ and a band, and they made sure we knew the perfect way to have everything set up! Chelsea was amazing at making sure all the dances, entrances and cake cutting happened at just the right time, and making sure all needed parties were present, allowing the groom and I to socialize with our guests and not stress. Why my husband and I were taking beautiful pictures with the lush green backdrops, the guests got to enjoy delicious appetizers and frankly didn't even notice our absence. We could not be more happy, we definitely would recommend to anyone who would listen, and can promise that we will be back to hopefully celebrate more occasions! Or at least try to eat more cake on the brewery side! Thank you, Thank you! -

They covered absolutely every detail, some of which we hadn't thought of ourselves! Our wedding was the 2nd one during a busy, Columbus Day weekend, and you wouldn't have known it by the incredible treatment we received. Every question was answered, every need was met. Not to mention our guests are STILL raving about how much they loved the food - the steamship roast in particular! Gary & Chelsea, thank you for all you've done! -
Kristen Sent on 10/22/2017We were married at Crissey Farm in Sep2017. Gary and Chelsea supplied all the assistance we needed to plan and execute our big day in a short 6 months and from 2 hours away. We had a 20min ceremony in their beautiful outside space, a 5hr reception and a great after party at the brewery. The venue was just right for us. Everything about the venue just worked - from the setting in Great Barrington, the outdoor space, the fireplaces, the dance floor, the food, the staff and a perfect day with sunshine didn't hurt! Extra thanks for Chelsea's help and coordination with Friday night's rehearsal and Chef's petite desserts! We can't wait to come back to Great Barrington and the Brewery for future visits! -Kristen and Casey
