We started planning our wedding a year and half before the event and across the country from our venue. We hired Pam early on and from the start, she was such a huge part of us being able to pull this off. I can't say enough good things about Pam. She is so organized, kind, and warm. She has been in the industry for a long time so has so much experience and wisdom about the process. She would call us monthly for over a year and we would go through all the steps in the planning process although she was available far more often if needed. She sent us her planner workbook and vendor recommendations from where we got all of our vendors and they were all incredible finds, great recommendations. She made the long arduous process seem doable and was with us step by step. When we couldn't find a wedding officiant we knew, being across the country, we hired her as our wedding officiant as well and we were so delighted by having her officiate our wedding. She did a perfect job, and the actual wedding day went flawlessly. I highly recommend her as your wedding planner!Events By Pamela Joy's reply:

Pam was wonderful!
From helping us plan our wedding, to guiding us when Covid struck and we had to reschedule, to orchestrating and officiating the big day: Pam was nothing short of amazing. I spoke with her monthly for over a year about planning every detail. She put my mind at ease for so many things I had worries over and did it all with a smile. She’s so bubbly and easy to get along with that she made the whole process easy. We could write a novel about why we loved working with Pam. To keep it short, we think it boils down to 3 key things:
1) even as a Day Of, she supports you through the planning process. Monthly check in helped us stay on track, she helped us find and coordinate with a few of our most critical vendors, and she was plugged into the vibe of our event from day 1
2) She’s a great hyper woman. The planning process is exhausting and there are definitely lows. Pam was ALWAYS reassuring, chipper, enthusiastic. She brought good energy to the table
3) on the big day, she was an unobtrusive organizational mastermind. She has great intuition for what decisions you want to be asked about vs the ones you want her to make. She was never “in the way” and really made sure everything moved at the pace we wanted it to.
We can’t recommend Pam enough. Hiring her was one of our best decisions.Events By Pamela Joy's reply:

After a long officiant search, my wife and I are very glad that Pam had availability for our wedding day. We had a non-traditional micro wedding, which Pam had a very nice plan for after our initial consult. We changed the plan a few times, even during the week leading up to the wedding. Since it was a micro wedding, there was no rehearsal, and Pam showed up and delivered a very excellent ceremony the day of. My wife and I could not be happier!Events By Pamela Joy's reply:

Pam was so incredibly helpful for our wedding planning. We were planning a DIY at home wedding for 160 people and had a lot of challenges to work through, and Pam not only was amazingly helpful during the wedding week but also was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding. Her monthly check-ins are a huge help to keep us organized and feel a sense of relief knowing that we're on track for everything! We can't say enough positive things about Pam White. We had interviewed a handful of Day-Of-Wedding Coordinators but Pam stood out the most to us. She had such positive energy and was passionate about making sure our day was as seamless as possible. We knew right away, that Pam was the one!
Even though we only hired Pam as a Day-of-Coordinator, it did not stop her from working with us months before the wedding! I was so impressed that she went out of her way to check-in with us regularly to make sure she had all of the latest information and knew every detail about our wedding.
We had to reschedule our wedding reception in Massachusetts (due to Coronavirus). But fortunately, we are still doing a small intimate ceremony on our original date! So we won't have the opportunity to work with Pam at our wedding but we know that she would have done a phenomenal job.
Pam is the absolute BEST. We would recommend to her anyone! She is super professional, organized, and most of all personable. Do yourself a favor and hire Pam :)Events By Pamela Joy's reply:

Do yourself a favor and hire Pam! We hired her as a day of coordinator for our wedding, and it was the best decision we made. From our first meeting on, she was so friendly and sweet. Her bubble personality makes her such a delight to work with. She checked in with me once a month leading up to the wedding helping to keep us on track with planning. She was always available for questions or advice, and helped ease my anxiety along the way. We ended up postponing our original wedding plan for 2020, and held a micro-wedding instead. We decided to add her services for the micro-wedding to set up our backyard reception. I sent her a list of items and where they should go, and she set everything up perfectly! I am a perfectionist, especially when it comes to events, and she really exceeded my expectations. Pam is an absolute pleasure to work with, and has such great insight and ideas. Pam was beyond incredible! I really just wanted to enjoy my wedding day and not have to run around trying to coordinate anything, and Pam exceeded my expectations as our day-of coordinator. She even went above and beyond with monthly check-ins and helping us recommend a sitter to one of our guests. I thought it might be hard for me to let go of control and just trust that everything would be planned and organize by someone else the day of my wedding, but I never had a doubt with Pam.
