From our very first conversation to the final song of the night, Melissa was so much more than our wedding planner… she became our trusted partner, biggest cheerleader, voice of reason, and ultimately, a dear friend.

Our wedding wasn’t simple. In fact, we were lovingly told it was one of the most logistically complex weddings of the season, with an incredible team of vendors, a packed timeline, multiple special moments, and countless moving pieces. Not once did Melissa make us feel overwhelmed. She somehow took every detail, every vendor, every timeline, and every last-minute request and orchestrated them into a day that felt completely effortless.

As a Type A bride married to someone much more laid back, I truly can’t imagine navigating this process without Melissa. She knew exactly when we needed reassurance, when we needed direction, and when we simply needed someone to tell us, “I’ve got this.” She celebrated every milestone with us, kept us motivated when wedding planning felt overwhelming, and somehow managed to make the entire process fun.

On our wedding day, she was nothing short of extraordinary. She kept our wedding party on schedule, coordinated every vendor flawlessly, and made sure every carefully planned detail happened exactly as we envisioned. She even greeted us with champagne moments after we said “I do,” sent her assistant to pick up blankets when the Oregon coast surprised us with chilly weather, and made sure our after-party McDonald’s, extra ice, and waters were waiting exactly when we needed them. No detail was too small. No request was ever an inconvenience.

One of the things we appreciated most was how Melissa embraced every idea we had. Whether it was building in a private moment with our grandmother, making time for an hour-long golden hour photo session, or bringing our entire design vision to life, she never said, “That’s too much.” Instead, she figured out how to make it happen.

The décor she and the Event Crush team created took our breath away. Walking into our reception for the first time was one of the most emotional moments of the entire day because they had transformed every idea we’d dreamed about into something even more beautiful than we imagined.

Perhaps the greatest compliment we can give is this: every single vendor we hired spoke so highly of Melissa. It was obvious she is deeply respected in the wedding industry, and after seeing her in action, we completely understand why. She leads with professionalism, kindness, confidence, and an incredible ability to make everyone around her better.

Our wedding took place near Gold Beach, hours away from Event Crush’s home base, and they never skipped a beat. The distance didn’t matter because Melissa showed up with her whole heart and gave us the greatest gift imaginable: the ability to be fully present on one of the best days of our lives.

I'm so grateful that we booked Callee from Event Crush as our Coordinator for our Wedding which took place about a month ago! During our first meeting, Callee immediately had suggestions for organizing our plans to hire various vendors and gave us an idea of how we should get started planning. Then, in the lead up to our wedding, she was on top of everything, in terms of a) efficient communication with vendors (and us!), b) meeting us at our venue space in person to go over tons of details and help visualize everything, c) a handful of other meetings with us and our vendors, d) giving us a detailed timeline for the day as well as keeping on top of when everything needed to get finalized, and e) leading us through the rehearsal. Then, on the wedding day, Callee and her team made everything go so seamlessly. Even when a few small things didn't go to plan on the wedding day, Callee was on top of it and I (the bride) didn't have to sweat anything. We had so much fun at our wedding and I know that was in large part to Callee and her team so thank you Event Crush!

Future couples who are looking for a planner, Becky is your person. Stop the hunt, call in the search party, you found who you were looking for. As someone who feels like I have to keep the world's to do list in my head at all times, I finally met someone who had her stuff together more than I do. The main goal I wanted for the day was to be clueless to the behind the scenes so I could feel present with my husband and close ones.
And boy did she hit the nail on the head. I never felt rushed, I felt present throughout the whole day, and if something did go wrong, Becky and her team handled it before I could learn about it, if I even learned about it.

Becky kept meticulous notes and would remind me and my husband of items we may have forgotten in the planning process so I knew she wasn't going to let any small details go amiss and she has the process of handling a wedding down to a science, but made it look like an art form.

Becky knows that this is probably the first wedding her couples are planning and gives us so much grace as my husband and I bumbled our way through the planning process under her guidance. She had a clear set of documents to keep us and herself on track and I felt included in the process without feeling overwhelmed.

On the day of the wedding, these were the big things that stood out. 1. Becky knew to build a proper timeline with plenty of buffer time. 2. If something was not explicit in our instructions, she figured out how to proceed without needing to consult me or my husband. 3. She and her staff were respectful and friendly. It was a very warm day and they never showed any sign of disgruntled feelings even though they were well entitled to do so.

At the end of the day, Becky is the overthinking bride or groom's best friend. You are in good hands with her and her team.

Shout out to her assistant Callee and her intern Sophie for making the trek to Portland and handling the day with Becky, you were an integral part to the success of the day. Our expectations were thoroughly exceeded!

We had the pleasure of working with Callee and Event Crush this year. She was such a joy to work with, as DJ’s & the emcee, the timing of the wedding is so important. Callee was our day-of coordinator a few weeks ago and everything couldn’t have gone better!! She helped guide us in the final planning steps and gave great suggestions, helping us get our event 100% ready. She worked so hard for us on our special weekend, and helped everything go perfectly to schedule, and make sure we didn’t miss the special opportunities we wanted!! We started the wedding planning process with Becky back in 2020. She not only weathered the storm of COVID with us through a 2 year postponement, but she and her team delivered beyond expectation the year our event took place in late 2022. Her steadfastness, flexibility, and frequent communication led to a smooth planning process and a stress free big day for me and my husband.

My husband and I had a personal and very specific vision for our wedding design and decor (we sent poor Becky so many powerpoint presentations). Becky absorbed our requests, took skillful ownership of our vision, and recommended perfect fit, local vendors and rental services to help support it. We especially appreciated Becky’s “no sweat” attitude through multiple revisions, substitutions, and requests to fine tune the vision to perfection.

Becky also made being an out-of-state client a breeze! This included the helpful feature of allowing us to send her a dozen packages for Event Crush storage and subsequent delivery to our wedding venue.
