Gosh.. where do I even start. I just had the absolute pleasure of working with the BEST DJ business I could’ve EVER asked for: Encore Events, using them at my wedding! From day #1: emailing them, doing the virtual open house to see the each DJ work their magic, emailing them who I wanted as my DJ, to the online “portfolio”, phone calls checking in, zoom meetings, all the way to the actual wedding day.. has just been an incredible journey & made my wedding day one to remember! Not only is that just SOME of the things I wanted to highlight.. but throughout my wedding they were making sure my husband and I had food, drinks, pulled it out chairs for us to sit, kept checking in making sure everything’s good, or if we needed anything etc. they absolutely excelled my expectations, and I can’t say enough about how phenomenal they did. Now I want to highlight who I used.. I wanted to mention Encore as a whole as they have 10+ DJ’s and are an amazing business; but HUGE shout out to Rich Cranston and Andre Powell, you guys killed it and I couldn’t stop saying how much I’ve appreciated you both and everything you’ve done for us, thank you so much and so honored to have you both at our wedding! My venue didn’t hesitate..right from the very start they said “hands down going to be on our recommendations list”. Every single person at the wedding noticed how flawless, organized, personable, caring, fun and professional Encore was.. hands down my favorite vendor, and will 100% be recommending to everyone. Thank you for being you, and making my wedding day come true! 🤍

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with our DJ Rich Post. Rich did a great job capturing what we wanted for our wedding. He also surprised us with a special slow dance song with our vows dubbed on top - we both cried! He got the party started and kept it going the entire night. Several friends asked where we found him! Overall fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Rich and Encore to anyone getting married. Encore's system was really seamless. They are wedding professionals and they have the whole thing completely figured out. They have you listen to a bunch of DJs before you decide who you want to pick, and then they have you meet with that DJ several times before your wedding. they help you to plan out your entire wedding timeline, and then they keep that moving along the entire night. I felt so relaxed on the night of our wedding because I knew that the DJ was keeping the whole event moving along exactly as planned. I know that this DJ is a bit pricey compared to others in the Rochester area, but it was absolutely worth it.

If you are looking into great and reliable entertainment for your wedding then definitely consider Encore events. We had Stephanie Hyde as our DJ and she was absolutely amazing! I can’t tell you not only how much my husband and I enjoyed our wedding, but how many of our guests took the time to say that our event was one of the best that they’ve ever been to! Having music and dancing was such an important part for me and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to go with Encore. I also loved that they offer uplighting and a digital Photo Booth, which we also had! Definitely take advantage of their events that they host to learn more about them and see what they have available (You sometimes get deals or discounts too at these!!)- look into them sooner rather than later (in relation to the timing of your event) to try to get the best deals ☺️

Encore was amazing! Music was incredible, such a fun vibe! Professional and great communication throughout the process! Loved the portal to plan music we wanted/didn’t want. 

The first thing that drew us to Encore Events is their “open house” event where they invite potential clients to a video call so we could hear snippets of work from a variety of their DJs. Since we were planning our Western NY wedding from CA, this was wildly helpful.

From that event, we knew Jordan was the girl for us! Her energy was infectious, even on Zoom and her mixes were the perfect blend of old school and new style music - we couldn’t help but dance around our living room when her promo came on.

The platform Encore Events shared for tracking the music and timeline for the day was intuitive, easy to use and kept everything really organized. On the day of the wedding, Jordan and team brought the energy - there wasn’t a single guest who didn’t get on the dance floor at some point of the night. She exceeded all expectations and we’re so grateful for her and the Encore Events team!

We didn’t hire a videographer for our wedding (which I still actually regret-so you should def hire one) but Encorce Events surprised us with turning the vows we wrote for each other into a slow dance!!!! They generously gave us a copy and then when I asked them if they happened to record our whole ceremony, they said yes and sent along that audio as well!!! Our ceremony was hilarious and I feel so lucky that they captured the audio, and the true emotion of those 15 minutes. That audio is my FAVORITE GIFT that I received and Encore went above and beyond to 1. Even think of doing that! and 2. Gifting it to us afterwards. Truly touching and an incredible way to go above and beyond for a customer. I also really appreciated their guidance as we were selecting songs for the party. Two things stood out…1. There were songs where I said I HAD to be on the dance floor for…But as the bride I kept getting pulled away. I heard one of my songs being played as I was leaving the dance floor but the DJ, adjusted on the fly and brought it back for me later in the night. I was SO THANKFUL. And the last thing i loved, Rich actually just said in passing as we were doing music selection. But he said if I only wanted the chorus of certain songs then he could make that work too. I was surprised at how many songs I really only knew the chorus too and I felt like I got to hear so many songs and all of my favorite parts to them!! Loved the music platform that they used to create all of those song selections too! I’m SO GLAD that we used them as our vendor. I originally just wanted my brother to “dj” with a playlist, and I’m so glad we got over that idea, spent the money and hired Encore. Our DJ, Rich Post, read the room and gave us everything we wanted! He mixed tracks together perfectly and we had the most amazing wedding! I had no idea that dj-ing music was such an art. Rich Post and Encore are worth every penny and they helped give us the most fun dance floor and perfect wedding celebration! So thankful for them as professionals and for going above and beyond for us.

Encore was great to work with. Communication and transparency were top notch. Allowed to pay in installments which made budgeting easier. Mikey V was our Dj and he was very professional and fun. Kept our guests dancing all night. Would highly recommend this vendor.

Rich Post and the Encore Team did an amazing job helping us plan our special day! He played all the hits we were looking for and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had a few meetings to set everything up and get to know each other and the day went smooth. The whole team went above and beyond!

Jordan from Encore was AMAZING! She goes above and beyond and cares so much for her clients. She brings forth an incredible energy that leaves the guests and wedding party feeling excited and ready to party. Encore also were very communicative, and even throw events throughout the years for future and past clients. Can't recommend them enough!

Mickey was great during our interactions before our wedding and crushed it the day of! He read the vibe perfectly and throughout the night my husband and I received so many compliments on how amazing he was from our friends and older relatives who actually got out on the dance floor! Can't count the number of times we've heard since our wedding that Mickey was "the best DJ" people have ever experienced at a wedding. We couldn't recommend him more!!
